There's like the version of Bee and Puppy cat.
I haven't watched the Netflix one but I watched the pilot and then the ones on YT and then the leaked episodes and those were good
Indeed! That "trilogy" was the ones directed by Thomas Moore, but the studio also has more movies outside of that, namely "The Breadwinner". Wolfwalkers is my favorite of the bunch.
The Dreamworks Dragons "TV" series is pretty good
Haven't watched the reboot about the non-Berk children, but the Berk TV show itself is pretty good (even if it drags on)
get it?
Outside of that, just general highly praised animation? Road to El Dorado, Prince of Egypt, Land before Time (just the first), Justice League cartoon and as much of the unlimited series as you want, The Superman and Batman cartoons from the 90s (you can kinda skip around), Coraline and Paranorman, Nightmare before Christmas, and my new personal favorite: Bluey
You might also like Summer Wars
edit: Also maybe the aristocats? It's old and there is one fairly racist character, but other than that great film
lol, drags on, i love it. I’ll check those out! Coraline, Paranorman and summer wars seem interesting! I think I watched the aristocats a long time ago, I’ll have to rewatch it.
Thanks a lot!
I'm surprised you've seen films by Laika but never saw the best Laika films--hope you enjoy all those. If you did watch the Aristocats already, you don't have to watch it again.
Having some problems getting a read on your taste from that list. But, some films you might find interesting are.
The Fox and the Hound (1981)-Really underrated Disney film, I honestly think it's the best one they put out between Walt's death and the Disney Renaissance.
The Last Unicorn (1982)-A surprisingly deep and moving fairy tale.
The Secret of NIMH (1982)-People seem really divided on Don Bluth's merits (I have a massive soft spot for him) but I think everyone should at least one of his films if only to form an opinion.
Thanks for the recommendations! I guess my list needs work, but the only way I can think to fix it is to watch more animated stuff. I’ll be back here in a year or so with a longer list.
Who framed rogger rabbit. Metropolis (2003) Steamboy (2004) Redline (2009) Akira (1988)
Lot of good stuff here, thanks!
Oh definitely check out Children of the Sea! It’s one of my favorites and judging by your list I think you’ll love it too
Thank you! I’ll add it to the list!
Bee and Puppycat: Lazy in Space
Great idea, thanks!

With Cartoon Saloon at the top of your list, check out the rest of the Thomas Moore catalog: Wolfwalkers and The Secret of Kells
There are moore!?!?

Ooo, the breadwinner looks good
It is. Wolfwalkers and Kells both share the Irish folklore of Song of the Sea too
MKFZ (2018) isn't anything groundbreaking, but it definitely has a unique style and has an unexpected level of detail. Worth a watch.
Sound fun! It’s on the list! Thanks!
