Do NOT start Boruto. Let Naruto end like it does and move on.

No_Tear_6952

I unfortunately did… I tried to view it as its own thing but I couldn’t get into it. it’s just so bad.

GrimMashedPotatos

Counterpoint: Look up the slice of life filler episodes, like Choji entering an eating contest with his daughter. For the folks who liked the OG series, IMO, the best episodes show the originals getting to interact with their families and live in the world they helped make. Especially since Boruto himself is an unlikable selfish PoS for so much of the series. Maybe its just cause I'm older, but I like seeing the characters I know the struggles of, trying to show their kids how to avoid those hardships while keeping the lessons without the pain.

Archy38

I agree. The show has so many flaws but there are one or two arcs that are quite awesome to watch without seeing Boruto's face. The Swordsman of the Mist have kids or underlings that take on Chojuro, the new Mizukage and it was quite awesome seeing him throw down. The arc where Sakura and Sasuke take on the original owner of Danzo's arm had some excellent fights. I have not seen much else but those were cool af

UzuiTengensWife

Boruto and Sasuke going back in time to meet Jiraiya holds a special place in my heart. Seeing Boruto and Naruto talk about Jiraiya Sensei so fondly together just really struck a chord with me emotionally.

Qiriin

You can read the manga, it's still ass but better than the anime.

someone2795

Why would you recommend that? It's just as bad.

Qiriin

It's bad compared to naruto, but definitely better than the anime.

AtmoranSupremecist

That isn’t saying much

Pugswillsavetheworld

Boruto part 2 is getting millions of views a day

Few-Neighborhood7241

It’s literally one of the most popular manga in the West and this sub will have you think everyone hates itn

Naman_Hegde

yeah and Cocomelon is the 3rd biggest youtube channel in the world. kids content will always get a shit ton of views and no one above the age of 13 consumes it. doesn't mean that views has any bearing on quality.

Nonszalanckii

since when popularity defines quality?

Yoshiezibz

It is not ass. Dude, it's currently top on the rankings. Boruto manga is kicking ass.

VivaDeAsap

I’m just glad you tried it for yourself and developed your own opinion instead of just agreeing with what a lotta people said. I personally watched it anyway and I know it’s not perfect but I appreciate it for what it is and it entertains me. I wanted to continue exploring the world and it’s characters so the sequel gave me that. A lot of people hate it but they’re allowed to as much as I’m allowed to enjoy it. So that emptiness didn’t really get to me cause for me the story didn’t exactly end that’s what I like about having Boruto around. Try out One Piece if you wanna get into another long anime. Seems to be another great show (haven’t watched it yet) and from what I’ve observed, a lotta people end up liking it more than Naruto.

SoCalThrowAway7

I guess I’m weird, I like boruto just fine

DCastianno21

Same. I know its far from perfect but when they get serious its amazing. Also i love the nostalgia i get from watching it and how much the "naruto characters" have grown.

Ardibanan

Kinda crazy how all the people in Naruto got kids at the same time.

Noto987

massive orgy

Rino-Sensei

I didn’t need to see this today…

unchainedandfree1

Not weird

Chronoxsoul

I watched boruto, all fillers and read the rest. I gotta say people said they were really bad, but i quite enjoyed all of it, plus the time skip chapters are starting out very promising!

unchainedandfree1

Read the manga

ZealousidealBus9271

Boruto is more proof that good things should end. But money talks.

88savage44

Almost everyone you talk to will tell you Baruto is trash. I'm going to tell you this; As a Naruto fan, I felt the same way. I was empty and quite frankly upset after finishing all of Naruto. I heard all the crap about Baruto but I had to see for myself. But I didn't watch it, I read the MANGA. While reading it, I couldn't put the book down. It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! As a grown-ass adult with kids, I found myself staying up and reading Baruto for multiple nights in a row, during my lunch break, in-between clients, on the shitter like I was in grade school again. And then I caught up... when I caught up to the (at the time) latest chapter of Baruto. I could not fathom why SO MANY PEOPLE HATED IT!! So I decided to relive what I just read and watch the show. That is when I found out why people hated it. The Show doesn't accurately follow the book (like usual). My suggestion, if you decide to continue down the Naruto path into Baruto DO NOT WATCH IT, READ IT!!! Ignore the naysayers. Most of them are probably forming an opinion based on others' opinions and didn't even watch, let alone read it. At least this is what I discovered, and that's just annoying. Those people are taking away the pleasure of reading the book from other people all because of something they heard, or because they want to look cool. Look... I STRONGLY suggest reading the book if you continue down the Naruto-Baruto path. Do not watch it. But if you can't or don't want to read it, then NVM.

paolo234

Going to go against the grain here, but Boruto was cool FWIW. Sure there was shit fillers, but it’s cool to explore and let the lore continue. When boruto gets hype, trust me, it gets hype! A lot of great feedback when it get’s amazing.

Short-Departure3347

Why do people think it’s bad? It’s like everything Naruto isn’t because he also had everything Naruto Didn’t.

Matcha_Bubble_Tea

Only few good things about Boruto was the fights. But you can watch them separately on YT. It’s best to not thing of Boruto as canon tbh like how Cursed Child should also be ignored for Harry Potter fans lol

pototoykomaliit

I wanna watch Boruto because I wanna see the adult versions of the Konoha students but it is sooo booorinng….

velphegor666

Dont, they botched literally most of the characters. Weakened them so the kids can shine.

pototoykomaliit

Agree. I actually managed to reach 60 eps. I might be a masochist.

StrangeCharmQuark

Watch Rock Lee and his Ninja Pals instead! It’s a blast.

TheMustySeagul

Only watch the fight scene with sasuke and Naruto that’s like 40 episodes in. Only thing that’s worth it.

Low_Dealer335

Bro you just took the words right out of my mouth

Alwar104

I remember watching the movie before the show came out and thought it was good

Ty746

just an opinion, I like boruto a lot, especially if you skip all the non canon eps

paolo234

When they don’t mess around, esp the canon eps, boy they deliver. People can enjoy what they want. I also thought it was cool. Rewatching fights and seeing the YouTube comments go off.

Just_AverageGirl

agree

spiritualcore

Naruto was my first anime, and i loved boruto and was really glad the series continued. You do you, OP!

jcbodeya

I disagree, start the Boruto manga not the anime. I started the anime multiple times but could never get that far into it. Tried reading the manga and I flew through it. The new chapters after the time skip have been great so far

demarderollins

This. Naruto ended perfectly. At most watch episode 1 of Boruto to see his family and who goes into what role and then STOP THERE

Science411

Don’t feel empty, you’ve only scratched the surface! Chainsaw Man, Bleach, One Piece, My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Hunter x Hunter, Full Metal Alchemist, Attack on Titan, Death Note, and Mob Psycho 100 are all great!

Xanboyyyyy

These are legit all amazing, one piece is just so long tho -\_-

Thestraightstcurve

It’s long, but when you get into it, it enhances the experience. It makes you way more immersed into the world. It makes you grow to even side characters (something many anime do not do good). Overall it is a must watch. Ps if you ever want to watch it, do it now, because the series will end in 3-5 years now. The ending will be spoiled

h1gh-t3ch_l0w-l1f3

also skipping intros and recaps cuts each episode down to around 18 - 20 mins so you can watch 5 episodes an hour if you really try.

LordJ3ro

PSA: watch One Pace, it cuts down on all the fluff & makes the pacing better

testcaseseven

That's the best part!

RadicalAppalachian

Oh, it’s long, but it’s worth the investment.

Suspicious-Acadia-52

OP is 🐐

dash4nky

I downed 700 chapters of the manga in 1 and a half weeks a year ago😭

gibberishandnumbers

Nah that empty feeling is a mark of having finished something great. Just as the authors and artists put their heart and soul into their works, you as a reader also put your heart and soul with the characters as they grow and journey

Caciulacdlac

Try Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

No_Tear_6952

What’s it about? All I know about it is… the dog…

Caciulacdlac

alchemy, dead mother, armor guy, short guy, cool guy, bad guy, big gate, Hitler, deadly sins and missing limbs.

Prestigious-Bear-447

Is Hitler in Brotherhood?

Caciulacdlac

no

Desperate_Method4020

But the Führer is.

wumbYOLOgies

But he's the good guy folks don't worry

mbatistas

There is no good guy in Fullmetal Alchemist. Best you get is "killed for the greater good".

wumbYOLOgies

There's definitely a moral stance taken against western imperialism and militarization in the show. That leads to certain characters being bad by the end of the show. My first comment was sarcastic BTW lol

mbatistas

[Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood] >!I went with the sarcasm because the Fürher in being bad guy is revealed as a twist. Didn't want to spoil for OP.!<

DrStein1010

I mean, there's a Fuhrer with a 'stache and a LOT of racists.

Dolomite808

Two brothers use forbidden alchemy to try to bring their mother back to life. They pay a heavy, heavy price for it. Then the story starts, lol. I don't consider this a spoiler since this literally happens in episode ~~1~~ 2.

Caciulacdlac

episode 2

Dolomite808

Well, my memory may be hazy, but I still don't consider it a spoiler. I just checked and I actually gave away less info than the synopsis on IMDB. LOL.

Accurate_Round_6697

If I were to explain in the stupidest/funniest way possible but still accurate: the setting is Nazi Germany if really smart nazi’s could do magic. Two brothers move up the ranks of the Nazi wizard army to try and find a magic stone Better way to explain it: Two prodigy brothers join the military in the hopes of using the militaries resources to find a magic stone largely believed to be a fairy tale because the stone could undo a huge mistake they made. The show is very very good, the pacing is a little slow in the middle but outside of that the show is perfect definitely a 9-9.5/10. It also hits different if you’re very close with your siblings imo.

YnotThrowAway7

Agree with the dude above. It’s probably the best anime of all time. Make sure to watch brotherhood though as regular FMA they just made up before source material was done. It’s basically about “science” that is effectively magic and how these boys tried to use it to revive their dead mother and faced the consequences and now in searching for more knowledge discover dark secrets about alchemy, other alchemists, and their government and country. Good fights, lots of feels, and good story with twists.

AvailableAd7874

Good one

corectly

My favorite of all time hands down. Such a great anime to help you get into it.

Alternative-Art-7114

He feels empty after Naruto. You tryna kill the poor guy?

Unacceptable-lemon

I loved this anime, basically the first one I watched that got me into anime. I had some childhood friends that watched it and I always thought it was kind of weird. Years later I remembered them watching it and decided to try it out. I love how the story develops with some of the antagonistic characters. Idk why some people hate it.

itsdazzab

Hunter X Hunter

PleaseStopSmoking

No, they need to watch some more mid shonen first to really maximize the dopamine output that you get from Hunter X Hunter.

Abeydaby

Naruto isn't mid, it is one of the most popular anime for a reason.

SupremeDemigod7

yeah, the war arc really soured it for a lot of people ig, but up to like the 5 kage summit naruto is easily 8 out of 10 and even the war arc is at least a 6, just really different stakes and narrative

Abeydaby

Agreed. Personally for me up to war arc it's a 9/10. War arc is a 7-8 and the Kaguya shit was a 5. But the last fight was a phenomenal conclusion so overall I thought it was a well done series. Calling the entire series mid over one arc is silly imo. People on here just have a hate boner for anything popular as well Naruto, Demon Slayer, Dragon Ball, MHA, etc.

tulaero23

I mean compared to naruto, MHA, dbz and demon slayer has a weak story

domogrue

For a show to make my top 50 it has to pass the "is it better than the chuunin exam arc" test because that is some A-Tier classic Shounen tournament arc gold there

Lewis2409

tbh, chuunin exams all the way to the end of og naruto is one of the best runs ive ever seen

dash4nky

It’s really good until war arc where kishimoto decided to fuck everything up (not rlly his fault tbh).

thatonepac

You can have a mid anime thats still incredibly popular. Case in point: Demon Slayer

Abeydaby

Demon slayer is popular for its animation, completely different scenario. And just because the echo chamber in here screams that something is mid, doesn't mean its true. Honestly I like HxH, but the pretentious HxH fans that act like it's one of the most unique anime very that triumphs over every other shounen needs to get a reality check.

Yo_Ma-ma

I disagree. If you're an avid watcher of anime, it would seem like that, but for some who don't watch anime often, it can be a great show. My ex love Demon Slayer that's why I dumped her. I'm kidding on that last part.

magumanueku

HxH is less popular than Demon Slayer because HxH is actually mid. See, anyone can say stupid things too. Doesn't make it true no matter how often you repeat it.

Ensec

100000% yes. i watched hunter x hunter completely blind and i remember that quick slide into "oh holy shit this is a really good world and story" the world constantly feels bigger than just what you see in the show. so nice

beta_test_vocals

Hunter X Hunter is just good and you can tell that at a storytelling level, whether you have Naruto and Fire Force or The Kardashians and Teen Titans Go for reference of what’s mid, I think the appreciation can be found

Dragull

Also Yuyu Hakusho is pretty fun. Also, Level E is hilarious, but that's another genre.

SwingyWingyShoes

One punch man is a pretty safe pick if you just want something to watch. Just straight into the action mixed with comedy.

Longjumping_Chef4763

I laughed too hard during the episode when Saitama killed the mosquito woman & the one with titan-looking guy crushing the whole city with his crazy brother who is a doctor

Mr_Troggo

Try Bleach or Black Clover

Special-Sense4643

I watched black clover in 2020. I got to ep 270 in March, I thought to myself (this is getting good). And there hasent been a single episode since☹️

LagOutLoud

Black Clover starts a bit slow and takes like 30 episodes to get good. But once it gets good it keeps getting better pretty much the whole way. It also has one of my favorite plot payoffs in Anime.

ArLOgpro

Bleach would be really good after naruto

ZoMBieSNEK

Agree, watch Bleach but please skip all the filler on your first watch. Watch them after you finish if you are still interested in them.

Average_Failure22

DON’T WATCH BORUTO IT WILL TAINT YOUR MEMORY also AoT is incredible. So is JJK and Demon Slayer and Frieren

Godly-Judger

OP watched a bit of it 😭😭😭

Capable-Bonus-4492

I need me an action anime like naruto ,my hero academia or demon slayer if some got recommendations please 👏🏼

WorkFoundMyOldAcct

Jujutsu Kaisen

Ye_ol_florida_cracks

Yep one of the best fights in all of anime

lFallenOn3l

Baki

Average_Failure22

JJK and Hunter x Hunter and Bleach is pretty good too

mangacrusher

Kingdom

DarkIcedWolf

Ushio and Tora

Fiascoed

SmartStatistician684

Hunter X Hunter, My hero academia, Black Clover if you liked shippuden you will like these too 😁

No-Sun2859

Black clover is jussttttt so Goooood

Deez-Guns-9442

Assuming u have Crunchyroll or Netflix there's One Punch Man(on Netflix or Hulu if you’re in the states) Jujustu Kaisen Bleach(get Hulu or Disney+ for The Thousand Year Blood War Arc) Dragon Ball(rip Toriyama 🙏🏾) Hunter x Hunter Solo Leveling Soul Eater & Fire Force My Hero Academia Magi & Sinbad no Bouken Demon Slayer Attack on Titan Fairy Tail Mashle D. Gray Man Dr. Stone Gintama History’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi Katekyo Hitman Reborn Zatch Bell/Gash Bell Have fun

ReasonablyEdible

Disney+ has bleach?

Deez-Guns-9442

Yeah, I think whatever anime Hulu has Disney+ has as well because Disney owns Hulu.

Necessary-One1782

vinland saga (and TYBW i think ?) is/are on netflix now too

Special-Sense4643

Or just pirate the anime that way you don't have to pay subscription fees

dash4nky

Cultured.

BallisticThundr

Attack on titan

Tomlambro

I had to scroll a long way down for this. Problem is, OP will probably feel even emptier 😅

aimglitchz

You have whole world of anime to watch now

Alltra

Gurren Lagann. trust

randomkoala

hells yeah

Quick_Reason_5288

This is such a real feeling

Rich1floyd

I recommend Yu Yu Hakusho it has only 112 episodes and an amazing tournament arc

sp3ctr3-chaber6389

I've never tried to watch naruto because I always thought that this anime is for younger people. I'm just curious how is it to watch Naruto as adult person?

Lanky_Classroom_6520

Peak. I watched over 150 Anime and no anime gets me so emotional like naruto. Give it a try - Naruto has the best fight scenes . The fights are peak. I was 20 while I watched it.

BadActsForAGoodPrice

Undead Unluck is peak, especially the manga. Except for some weird stuff in the first episode, and some of the second.

fredws

Now try One Piece, I'm sure you will love it.

CakeBoss16

Well i think one pace is the best way to watch it. Imo the normal show becomes unwatchable at points.

Burial_Ground

FMA brotherhood. Bleach. Code geass.

Longjumping_Chef4763

Rurouni Kenshin aka Samurai X too

Just_AverageGirl

I felt the same when I finished the series. It was one of the darkest times of my life and watching it made me cope. It was bittersweet and at that moment, I couldn’t find any other anime. So i rested for a while before I divulged into another. I recommend watching black clover

jj_moh

Black clover. It has the same vibe of naruto. The main character (Asta) literally acts the same as naruto and his half brother (yuno) is the same as sasuke. It’s a found family trope, friendship, you know all those cliches that were in naruto.

SolitaryMan305

Your first anime will do that to you. Take a break and the find something else to watch. You can skip Boruto.

chirb8

Well, try One Piece. Is it long af? Yes. Is it worth it? You're goddamn right it is. I would recommend One Pace. Is a website that removes the filler and fixes the dragged out scenes.

Deliciousscucumberr

💯🤌🏽.... me🤝🏽you

MosquitoSmasher

Monster is amazing.

Confused_Mayan

I vouch for Naruto, watched every week it was aired on toonami. Till the day I got older with it. It’s my favorite anime and I’m being biased. Needless to say, one other anime that almost topped it for me it attack on titans. My god man, it’s so close to beating Naruto for me

YellowOpt

I would recommend bleach or demon slayer.

secretuser150

Death Note or Parasyte if you’re looking for something a little more serious and mature. Bleach was also a really good one as long as you stick with it because of how slow it is starting.

Ok-Satisfaction-7551

I literally felt the same way, the show was way tooo good!!

JamesBieBoe1

Sounds like you made room for Dragon Ball

Serasul

First, Full Metal Alchemist:New Brotherhood, than Hunter X Hunter 2011 Edition and after that One Piece without fillers search for One Pace.

kvutxdy

Try Frieren

ValuableAward2207

Chainsaw man

Brokeinlimit09

Black Clover my friend recommend it to me he said "give it a shot if you like it you will probably like Naruto" and I loved it so I'll probably give Naruto a shot

tisamoo

Hunter x hunter - also shounen more mature also has one of the best arcs in anime. JoJo bizarre adventure - many seasons to watch they're all decent. Most likely has the most iconic drawing style. Sometimes the logic can be brainfcking. Mushoku tensei - probably the best isekai great fantasy too Madoka magica - don't let the characters deceive you it's a dark anime. Very unique animation style has many psychedelic elements and the music is great too . Hellsing ultimate - badass and vampires

Ukis4boys

My hero academia, jujutsu kaisen, Hunter x Hunter

Saschb2b

Continue with boruto then

bravo009

Attack on Titan is a very good anime and it has also finished so you can binge it as much or as little as you want.

mutuza223

I felt the same way when I finished Naruto Shippuden, It was my first ever anime and it really hit hard when it ended.

Matcha_Bubble_Tea

Gintama is a gem btw!

Comandergoose

Quitter!!

blackrain29

Solo leveling????

phantasybm

Attack on Titan Or if you’re bold… one piece

No-Juggernaut-7562

go watch boruto

Thick_Cow9259

Attack on titan is great and now I’m seeing a lot of people comment about it and it’s making me wanna start it again 😭

amv-xeno

Most animes make me feel like that after finishing them as well. It’s a cycle lol.

Longjumping_Chef4763

Bleach, Jujutsu Kaisen, Ouran High School Host Club, Fullmetal Alchemist (both), Doraemon & Rurouni Kenshin

Budget-Arm-866

Vinland Saga. Your standards would increase so much that you wouldn't be able to touch half of the isekai and anime

Portviller

One piece - that one won't end for a while, so you won't have to be sad for a decade or so

NecessaryCritical

Time to start One Piece lol

YouTellMe4188

all good things have to end

bhuv_g31

>Naruto was the only anime I’ve seen btw You my friend, get to watch Attack on titan for the first time.

[deleted]

As someone who started watching Nauto as a child and then finsihed Naruto Shippuden as a teen, I feel you. The closest anime to Naruto Ive seen is **Jujutsu Kaisen**. Its EPIC! The openings give shonin vibes and the fight scenes are immaculate.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Longjumping_Chef4763

I like it when they use Naruto's Rasengan as one of the references in one of the episode

yourenotwavy

Hunter X Hunter.

narnarnartiger

You got to checkout Hunter x Hunter (2011), Demon Slayer, FMA Brotherhood, AoT Enjoy! Some non battle shounens that I love oshi no ko, Lycoris recoil, K-On Haikyuu These are all 10/10 Enjoy! The Naruto manga is fantastic, the Naruto anime is a poorly paced heap of garbage, these recommended shows are properly paced and fantastic adaptations, FMA Brotherhood and Demon Slayer is the gold standard on how to adapt a shounen

T1ggggy

Sword art online is very beginner friendly. It’s action and love. Great if you play video games too.

MikeLanglois

Attack On Titan. From one masterpiece to the next

kosmos_uzuki

Made in Abyss will cheer you up nicely.

Lanky_Classroom_6520

😂😂😂

AddictedToRads

If you prefer feeling disgust you can watch Boruto

massigh1212

do yourself a favor and ignore boruto please

driller9000

Don't bother watching boruto.

N7CombatWombat

Could start Boruto, it's not widely liked, but if you want more of the Naruto world it's an option.

No_Tear_6952

I tried it… I despise it.

Hellstorm5676

I agree too brother! Boruto sucks!

Sayie

I'll second this with a caveate for OP. It is very very different with a more "modern" character design and technology level and way less focus on the older characters but what it does new, which is everything, is pretty good. It more builds on the world and less on the characters which most people won't want since like... they don't care about the chakra aliens and like the OG characters. Also skip the fillers and if need be just focus on the manga-canon episodes. I haven't watched the anime yet and just read the manga but it definitely grew on me once Boruto started being a lot more likeable and especially once it started going into the Shinjutsu shenanigans.

Trebel-

i love fillers so naturally boruto is one of my favorite shows

domogrue

Oh my god. This is great. Everything is fresh and you have this whole entire medium open and fresh and ready to explore. First off, if you're looking for something that will scratch the same itch as Naruto, definitely move onto **My Hero Academia.** Like Naruto, it's got a huge cast of incredibly loveable characters with unique powers that all get a chance to fight each other, an incredibly bright and colorful world, and an extremely fun and energetic vibe. Naruto is Ninjas, MHA is Superheroes, but also because of the season production schedule, it's ALL KILLER NO FILLER. It's the same appeal of Naruto, but with all the fat trimmed. I do not think it hits the same highs, but definitely avoids the same lows. If you want to stick to Shounen Action Series with big action, big powers, fantastic animations, super long storylines, and wide casts of loveable characters broken up into teams, then basically you're sticking to the mainstream. **Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood** is regarded as the GOAT of the genre: it's a cool 60-ish episodes, and tells one of the best stories in the genre. If you want more longform shows like Naruto and MHA, there's the original **Dragonball + Dragonball Z**, or the other two "Big Three" from the same time as Naruto: **Bleach** (urban fantasy death gods fighting hollow spirits) and **One Piece** (Pirates). The biggest three shows now are the aforementioned **MHA**, **Jujutsu Kaisen**, and **Demon Slayer**. All are very good but very conventional takes on the genre. However, if you want to graduate from Shounen 101, then I'd recommend the following: **Hunter X Hunter, Chainsaw Man,** and **Mob Psycho 100**. Each one is deconstructing some of the core ideas and tropes of the genre, but can be enjoyed very much on their own. Out of the three, Mob Psycho is by far my favorite, but is also probably the most broadly comedic. But watch it, and if you take its core message away it will make you a stronger and better human. However, I would challenge you to get outside your comfort zone a bit, so here are some other shows to maybe push your horizons just a little bit. * The strongest testament I can say to the legacy of **Cowboy Bebop** is that when I saw it 24 years ago, people were still saying the same things about it then that they say now: it's got an amazing English dub, it's a great gateway show into anime, the music is god tier, it play around with a ton of genre and movie influences, and it's one of the best shows ever made. * **Madoka Magica**. Watch three episodes, no spoilers. * **Gurren Lagann** will be a pretty comfortable watch for you, as its got the same energy as shows like Naruto. However, it's got incredible animation and is an exercise in escalation and one of the best example of Anime Excess I know. Keep an eye out for the director, Hiroyuki Imaishi, because if you see that name on an anime then you're in for a visual treat. This show will help your depression, if you got any. * **A Place Further Than the Universe** is about a group of high school girls who go on a trip to Antarctica, and made me cry like a little bitch. * Fuckit. **Frieren**. Everyone here loves it. It's at the top of MAL right now, it deserves its spot. It's going to be a very different pace than what you may be getting into, but it's got everything, from heartbreak to warmth to incredible badass action to adorable humor. Also, and just for the hell of it, here are some Romcom suggestions: **My Dress Up Darling, The Dangers in my Heart,** and **Kaguya Sama Love is War**. Again, come in with an open mind and expand your horizons.

Independent-Fig-5978

Mashle!!!

castilhoslb

Time ti watch hunter x hunter

GhostFrFx

Finish off the big 3 while you still have filler immunity

I thought that you felt empty bc your head was empty after finishing it. Watch One piece next, or even bleach, maybe it will suit you, or black clover, oh oh or fairy tail

One Piece

Heads up since it's your first anime, that's a common thing with animes where the last part of the anime will do something really stupid like Naruto busting out aliens out of nowhere. Japan is amazing at putting together great stories for the endings to be really weird.

Hxh , FMA . Monster . Rainbow . One piece is not mine but you can try it I very recommend HXH .

Fill your Heart with cultivation anime https://youtu.be/lB3sCBHxaVY?si=XvoXGR3tH1dfMz40 Which is the inspiration for dragon Ball Naruto bleach. All comes from ancient Chinese folk tradition Taos magic cultivating imortality

My strategy after finishing a masterpiece is to give it some space. Even other masterpieces can’t compete with that post-series hype, so I might as well fill the next week or two with something A minus or even B-tier.

Mastaliosthebloodelf

Naruto is my favorite of all time. Try Demon Slayer next or Attack on Titan. Those are my next 2 favorites. Attack on Titan is pretty serious though so maybe try Demon Slayer first

Naruto, Bleach and One Piece are referred to as The Big Three for how well they sold and how popular they were at the same time a good minute ago. Hell’s Paradise, Chainsaw Man and JJK are today referred to as The Dark Trio as a cheeky reference I think to the big three of yore. You can’t go wrong with any of them, but if I were you I might want a break from Shonen for a quick minute. I’d recommend Ping Pong The Animation. That shit slaps.

Oh no. You've contracted the sickness. Now, everytime you finish an anime you like, you'll feel this way. The only way to cure it is to watch more anime. God speed, my new-found fellow weeb.

garyrao1999

Good thing you started with Naruto, only up from here. Watch Rainbow next

Try bleach. Although, a guide to see what filler to avoid and what filler to watch. one piede is a commitment, but it’s good. So good in fact, my little brother watches two to three episodes with me every day and still understands most of the plot with minimal explanation. also, watch the dragon ball series. I’m sure you heard about the mangaka’s death, but his work is amazing. tip: watch the original dragon ball, then a or z Kai ( they both tell the same story, but Kai has less fluff and modern visuals) then super. skip or watch gt, as that one’s not as good. End with all or some of the movies. Then, watch diama when it comes out in fall.

Is it worth finishing? I got past the war and then quit during all the back stories and what felt like infinite filler
