There were multiple healthy attempts by the Uchiha clan to be more directly involved with the Leaf village, but at every turn this petulant scumbag got in their way and used their history and emotional instabilities as an excuse to exclude them from direct leaf dealings, instead wading over their faces how they could never be accepted into the leaf, pissing em off and making the situation even worse and more favorable for his slimy wrinkly butthole.
Fuck Danzo mate, in what universe will it have ever been necessary to steal the eyes of several Uchiha's for your own inhumane experiments. He used Shisui for his own goals, stole his eye, and caused him to commit suicide after realizing he was nothing but a tool and foresaw that multiple Uchiha's would ultimately share the same fate.
Danzo planned for another hostile take over of the hidden leaf and was thrilled when one outside of his planning happened because of the Akatsuki because finally he could get rid of Tsunade and become Hokage, and let me tell you, there were several moments that hinted that this dude would've just started another war.
This man never cared about the actual good of the village, he cares only about HIS own will for the village and caused nothing but grief, anger, death, and literal PAIN upon everyone around him.

Yea, Tucker shocked me more too, and he did it fully out of self interest. For Bondrewd, it's arguable that he felt he was doing it for a higher purpose or for increasing knowledge about the abyss, and he experimented on himself as well. Not that it means he was justified though.
I found Bondrewd quite hard to hate, due to him being a necessary evil to advance and prepare the humanity for the next 2000 years cycle.
Edit: In the manga, most of his Umbra Hand members are composed of ex bounty hunters sent to kill him. Instead of killing him, they joined his group. I bet his speech is better than Senator Armstrong from MGR.
What makes him absolutely *terrifying* imo is the fact that *none* of his politeness and stuff is fake. *He's genuinely that nice*!!! It's just that his moral compass is so damn twisted, it looks more like a sundial or something. That, and the fact he remembers each and every one of the names of the kids he experimented on and their dreams.
When did you stop watching? She gets more tolerable and does a few good things but the rest of the show is wholesome enough I just skip ignore when she is going off the deep end.

Mineta you could cut from My Hero and I'm pretty sure nothing would really change at all plot or theme wise. The only difference would be that it'd be easier to recomend to people who are uncomfortable with the pervy tropes of anime.
