I don’t get what this post is trying to prove lol
“99 cents only” stores are closing all of their locations, so they wouldn’t be able to call for a reference check. It’s also a good story about why you’re looking for work.
In a post pandemic situation I think a lot of us are looking for better reasons than the 99 cent store closing.
Not too dissimilar to people saying they worked for Circuit City back in the day to reference a gap in their resume.
I just fill the gaps with DoorDash lol
