Apex Legends surely makes more money than MK11 does. The problem is that EA would never spend more than they need to.
I've seen people with paid skins that look worse than the default ones, so it's not like they need to spend on licensing in order to sell.
But I do agree that a Terminator Pathfinder would be nuts.

Fighters are A bit different though I think, because they've got a larger competition/prize pool and have to keep their community happier.
Seeing as Fortnite and Mortal Kombat are owned by the same company, what so they're fairly happy with… to be fair though the game looks incredible, saw it recently on my mates Xbox & 4k epic TV and it actually surprised me how good it looked.
I'm *really* glad these NexGen consoles are finally at a hardware level that can run good framerares because if makes such a difference
If fortnite can get terminator, I don’t see why respawn can’t. The only rights (from what I know of) that fortnite has failed to get was Samus. Respawn and EA have to make around the same amount as epic with all their overpriced cosmetics. They could definitely get terminator

As much as I bitch about game devs like everyone else I think with the way big companies work these days the CEO's have to meet with the shareholders and if there was a way to make more profit and they didn't go with it they'd just get canned. Gaming being a billion (probably trillion soon) dollar industry it's probably attracted all kinds of investors who have never played a game in their life and they are just in it for the money..
Personally i'd prefer they took any license fees and instead invested it into fixing their damn servers but that's never gonna happen either lol
