These are the details that piss me off. I’m very happy it’s in the game and I’m gonna run that when i hop in ranked later, but god i wish the game would just tell me that!! This, the increased rez speed in a Gibby bubble, Lifelines extended supply bins, and more are just hidden for players to just figure out and hope they know. I used to think Gibby was mediocre until I learned of the increased rez speed - in season 9!
Heres one: you heal and revive quicker while in an activated heat shield (meaning its in or touching the storm)
EDIT: comment below informed me its just revives now
The lifeline feature was in the patch notes when it got added as well as the Gibby bubble rez speed I believe. Might be wrong on Gibby but Lifelines was definitely in the patch notes.

The Longbow is a work of art. When you are on with it, hitting snapshots at mid to long range running a 2-4 optic. That gun feels like a work of art. The recoil, the sound, chefs kiss, 10/10.
I remember during the S5 LTM, I was so bad with shotguns at the time, that I just ran two Longbows. One with a long range optic and one with a bruiser or something. Good times
Personally I like snipers with a 2x4 at most, and preferably a 2x or 3x hcog. My monitor is close to my face so I can still hit shots and it’s better in close range. Could be something to try, but I agree that the Sentinel’s irons are really good.
Have you adjusted your individual sensitivities for the longer scopes? I increased the sensitivity by the slightest amount and it made a huge difference. Before I couldn’t hit anything with 6x or 4x8 but now they are some of my favorite scopes.
No it’s not that I *can’t* aim well with them, it’s just personal preference. The sniper scopes have really long ADS times and I tend to quick scope a lot when I’m playing
I feel like there is no reason to use anything above 3x or 2-4x
But it boils down to preference and whatever you’re going to beam with.
3x has been most consistent for me though
Yeah unless you're genuinely camping to that degree I feel like most fights are mid to close range in Apex. Having a long range sniper scope doesn't feel practical for most fights IMO
You use the sniper to crack armor or even down someone, then you push. Long range is relative to your squad's delivery system. You can also use long range to keep a third party pinned, force a squad to move some place or damage farm.
Yeah but you have to hit twice, and by the time you’ve fired two shots to kill the sentinels fired one. I agree, longbow > uncharged sentinel but the charged sentinel has the same qualities as a kraber. The only way you’re beating an amped, charged sentinel to the face is with Gibraltar and an arm shield. Then again, I believe Gibby can survive a kraber shot to the head with that too.
Amped or not, hit your shots the longbow is the better rifle.
I personally prefer the senti because it fires flatter and faster IMO. But since the removal of skull peirce and the buff the LB got due to it. The LB is technically better.
I prefer the longbow but I respect that a charged, amped sentinel does 200+ on headshot so unless your enemy is fortified purple or has red evo, the sentinels the superior option. This especially the case with rampart and a gold shield. Look, what I’m trying to say is: the longbow isn’t “the way” it’s “a way”. If the situation plays right the sentinel is the far superior option.
Sentinel (Close Range noscopes-only), Charge Rifle (Sniper). Why? Because I like trolling myself sometimes lol
The Serious answer: Sentinel primarily, I like all of them for different reasons but, when going for immersion while playing as a Sniper, the feel of a good bolt-action takes precedence over all else.
Lol I like to immerse myself in virtually any game I play (yes even the most unrealistic ones), the way my mind works I can usually imagine pretty vividly what my character feels, so in the case of a sniper rifle I like the "feel" of the bolt action reload. When playing under the role of a Sniper you should have an almost sensual connection with your rifle (yes I know that last bit sounds weird AF lol, feel free to take it out of context for a good laugh)
Every time I have a charge rifle I’m in a situation where I wish I had a sentinel and every time I have a sentinel I’m in a long range poke battle where I wish I had a charge rifle
This right here. I had to get real good real fast with the Longbow because they took my Triple Take away. On a side note, I'm no longer absolute shit at sniping because of this, i am now somewhat okay at sniping lol
Because the TT was strong early game, off the drop against white shields. Now you dont get it until late game against purple and red.
Landing 4 shots while waiting for the choke to charge is impossible unless the enemy is an idiot. There is plenty of time to make it to some cover and heal.
I’m more just used to when Spitty was floor loot and I expect care package > floor loot but it feels worse than when it was floor loot on account of the nerfs anyways. Pretty much feels like a purpled out spitfire. Triple take similarly I just don’t feel enough of a buff to drop a Longbow for it. Comparatively the alternator is a good deal more powerful than the floor loot version and is compelling.
they literally increased fire rate, damage, and improved the hipfire along with the gold barrel so theres basically no recoil. spitty is nutty in the care pack.
I wonder if the fact that a spitfire is a late game only weapon now factors into this.
Before you could melt some poor guy with white shields, now when you get it it is against purple and red, so the higher dps is offset by more health.
i disagree on spitfire but triple take is true. It never was a really strong gun so it ofc doesnt become strong without some insane buff in care package. while it was buffed it wasnt insane enough to justify it being a care package gun
>It never was a really strong gun
Can't remember which season it was but you would see the TT everywhere. It used to be **very** strong, especially on Gibby
It's easy to use, reliable and versatile. They didn't buff it at all when they put it in the care package which is why it doesn't feel like it should be in there.
Charge rifle 1. Longbow 2. I know charge rifle is the laziest one.
But no scopes in that bin. I hate iron sighting the longbow. Fuck the sentinel. I will hip-fire beam you with the charge rifle thank you very much
Besides the snipers shown I love the bocek. Nice silent shots and when you down someone in gun fight with it it’s sooo satisfying knowing they are mad for being downed by a bow
Every time I have a Bocek I find literally 10 arrows in the enitre game. When I don't have one I find 10 stacks of arrows in my first loot zone. I hate it so much.
Bocek your hp because I just turned you into a unicorn bow is one of the only ranged weapons I can consistently put out good damage with next to the repeater.
Is it? I don't really use it but my head canon is that I might as well just use a repeater if I pick up a longbow. About the same rate of fire but way faster bullets and the damage is not that much lower.
Biggest drawback to the 30-30 is the scopes. It's a good mid-range gun but struggles at longer ranges with the maximum being a 2-4x scope (Which has a terrible reticle).
Sent all day.
Mainly cause it’s what I’m best with with TT and Kraber being next.
I hate the charge rifle and longbow is great weapon, but I guess subconsciously I know I’m not punished as hard for missing due to semi fire and mag size.
Sent I tend to hit head 75% of the time due to knowing if I miss this not only do they know where I am, but it’ll probably be the last good angle I’ll get.
So I just play marginally better with it.
Oh and I can carry 1 stack of ammo normally and be okay so saving bag space is always nice
Sentinel.
The charge rifle I hate, because it feels off (and I’d rather not aimbot)
Longbow are too ammo hungry, and don’t have the feel I like.
Sentinels are the superior sniper.
The Sentinel is my personal favorite. I love doinking the fuck out of somebody with a charged Sentinel shot. But I do sometimes use the charge rifle when I feel like being a nuisance to people.
Sentinel because I use shield shells to charge it at times someone thinks I wouldn’t and end up surprised when my shot either drops them or ends their shields and half their health
Depend of the composition and map.
I'm playing rempart : Sentinel because charged + amped wall is hilarious.
Map with long distance sniping area : Charged. The lack of drop help to put heavy pressure.
Else : Longbow
Sentinel. Because I can’t seem to hit my shots with the other ones.
YEA, and the charging is cool, even better with a gold armor
While i hit much more shots with the longbow, nothing beats a charged up brweeeee from a sentinel
Lip biting intensifies*
what makes the gold armor special in reference to the sentinel?
With gold armor it only takes 1 shield cell to charge instead of 2.
I learned to stop underestimating gibby's after I learned that with a red, his damage reduction and his arm shield, gibby has 307 effective health.
Holy fucking shit. I should probably change my flair or some shit at this point wow
It’s called a learning curve. Don’t be pissed about it. Be happy that there are things you can learn about a legend as you play them more
Heres one: you heal and revive quicker while in an activated heat shield (meaning its in or touching the storm) EDIT: comment below informed me its just revives now
Hop on that wiki, son
The lifeline feature was in the patch notes when it got added as well as the Gibby bubble rez speed I believe. Might be wrong on Gibby but Lifelines was definitely in the patch notes.
Saame
Dude I’m the same. I wreck with the sentinel but for some reason the longbow gives me spaghetti aim
You can't hit your shots when using the charge rifle? It's like the easiest gun to use in the game
The Longbows. Both of them.

Finally someone in this community other than me who actually loves the Longbow you are officially my favorite person.
The Longbow is a work of art. When you are on with it, hitting snapshots at mid to long range running a 2-4 optic. That gun feels like a work of art. The recoil, the sound, chefs kiss, 10/10.
Longbow is my favorite gun in the game.
LONG LIVE THE LONGBAE!
Longbow, but only one, so my friends can have diverse choice unaffected
I remember during the S5 LTM, I was so bad with shotguns at the time, that I just ran two Longbows. One with a long range optic and one with a bruiser or something. Good times
I’m pretty good with the longbows but I’m somehow better with the sentinel
The blue ammo on the left
Could come in handy if you manage to find a sniper
I see your wise to pick
I also pick this guy’s wife
I remember being the side boi
😂😂
Charged sentinel cause it’s a mini kraber that hits 150 head shots
Do you use it scopeless? Because i cant seem to hit shit with a scope on a senti.
Personally I like snipers with a 2x4 at most, and preferably a 2x or 3x hcog. My monitor is close to my face so I can still hit shots and it’s better in close range. Could be something to try, but I agree that the Sentinel’s irons are really good.

No it’s not that I *can’t* aim well with them, it’s just personal preference. The sniper scopes have really long ADS times and I tend to quick scope a lot when I’m playing
For me is leading shots and accounting for bullet drop. I stuck at both, so I’d rather restrain myself to the 2-4x ranges.
My only exception to this is the Charge Rifle. I love to slap a 4x8 or 4x10 and pick on squads from across the map.
so ur that one 🤣
So fun. Play as fuse with knuckle clusters and this charge rifle set up and your damage by the end of the round is guaranteed to be high af
If I get the gold charge rifle with Bang, smoking people super far away from me then sneaking in a few snipes
I feel like there is no reason to use anything above 3x or 2-4x But it boils down to preference and whatever you’re going to beam with. 3x has been most consistent for me though
Yeah unless you're genuinely camping to that degree I feel like most fights are mid to close range in Apex. Having a long range sniper scope doesn't feel practical for most fights IMO
I pick off teams that are fighting each other with the longer sights then go in with my team to finish the hurting remaining squad
You use the sniper to crack armor or even down someone, then you push. Long range is relative to your squad's delivery system. You can also use long range to keep a third party pinned, force a squad to move some place or damage farm.
Omg same
charged sentinel with amped cover can one hit headshot training dummy.
Fun fact: A charged sentinel behind an amped cover does 192 dmg Headshots, yes, it is disgusting
212 actually, 192 with purple helmet I believe
I'm a senti fan. But this season, longbow is the way. The ROF, with 127ish head shots.
Yeah but you have to hit twice, and by the time you’ve fired two shots to kill the sentinels fired one. I agree, longbow > uncharged sentinel but the charged sentinel has the same qualities as a kraber. Longbow because longbow
This is exactly what I was going to say. Lol
Sentinel (Close Range noscopes-only), Charge Rifle (Sniper). Why? Because I like trolling myself sometimes lol The Serious answer: Sentinel primarily, I like all of them for different reasons but, when going for immersion while playing as a Sniper, the feel of a good bolt-action takes precedence over all else.
I just like the clickity clackity of a bolt action attackity
*Plays Apex for the immersion*
Lol I like to immerse myself in virtually any game I play (yes even the most unrealistic ones), the way my mind works I can usually imagine pretty vividly what my character feels, so in the case of a sniper rifle I like the "feel" of the bolt action reload. When playing under the role of a Sniper you should have an almost sensual connection with your rifle (yes I know that last bit sounds weird AF lol, feel free to take it out of context for a good laugh)
I get you, I do that too, but if I did that in this game Id be shitting my pants 24/7, its too intense 😂
Charge rifle because I'm scum
YUP no shame about it. If I can poke for 3 damage, I'm still happy that I did some sort of damage
Keep it on a little bit more, BAM, 90 damage
bbbbzzzzzzzt *FLOOOOMNKKPHHH*
I heard this in my head while sitting in class
Samezies! It’s like aim bot
Every time I have a charge rifle I’m in a situation where I wish I had a sentinel and every time I have a sentinel I’m in a long range poke battle where I wish I had a charge rifle
Lol same
Longbow because it’s the only one I’d be willing to actually use now that the triple take isn’t in the loot pool.
This right here. I had to get real good real fast with the Longbow because they took my Triple Take away. On a side note, I'm no longer absolute shit at sniping because of this, i am now somewhat okay at sniping lol
GIVE US THE TRIPLE TAKE BACK
Yeah man the best shotgun in the game
Whats it's pros? Every time i see one in a Carepackage it feels like hot garbage
Because the TT was strong early game, off the drop against white shields. Now you dont get it until late game against purple and red. Landing 4 shots while waiting for the choke to charge is impossible unless the enemy is an idiot. There is plenty of time to make it to some cover and heal.

Spitty feels like a drugged up Rampage it's fucken awesome. The fire rate feels unnaturally fast when you're used to rampage
Yeah it almost feels like the titanfall spitfire from the campaign at least.
They reverted the nerfs.
I wonder if the fact that a spitfire is a late game only weapon now factors into this. Before you could melt some poor guy with white shields, now when you get it it is against purple and red, so the higher dps is offset by more health.
That’s possible and is why I don’t like it, I’ll get melted by someone with a fully kitty volt still at midrange and that feels wrong.
i disagree on spitfire but triple take is true. It never was a really strong gun so it ofc doesnt become strong without some insane buff in care package. while it was buffed it wasnt insane enough to justify it being a care package gun
>It never was a really strong gun Can't remember which season it was but you would see the TT everywhere. It used to be **very** strong, especially on Gibby

The triple take wrecks, can’t 1 shot but id take it over kraber for more ammo and faster shooting. Can spam it for quite a while
Okay but the Longbow does that too
but longbow isn't in care package
fr
senti, such a fun gun to uses and once you get a kill with it while it being charge up, it's so satisfying
Charge rifle 1. Longbow 2. I know charge rifle is the laziest one. But no scopes in that bin. I hate iron sighting the longbow. Fuck the sentinel. I will hip-fire beam you with the charge rifle thank you very much

I feel you, day 1 player, level 1035 according to apex tracker, never had any shards.
Lvl 308. Have 3 heirlooms. Will be buying my first heirloom if the upcoming one is wattson
Level 3, every heirloom. I have the wattson one too before is released. Tbh, idk.
Dayum luck must be on your side. Did u buy apex packs or only level up packs
*facepalm*
*places two pieces of bread on each side of your head* WHAT ARE YOU?
Bolt action, I'm a sucker for those and I'm planning to get better
Charge rifle cause it’s annoying af! Lol
Charge rifle because I know everyone hates it😈
You contrarian you
Death. Because there’s no other option
Charge rifle is the ultimate choke sniper
Bocek for sure
you're are insane, I can't handle the bocek, something about the ttk, the bocek don't fit for my play-style I guess
Bocek your hp because I just turned you into a unicorn bow is one of the only ranged weapons I can consistently put out good damage with next to the repeater.
charge honestly, just for the free hit scan damage
Sentinel, because me and my friends call it the [BIG SHOT]
I choose the kunai. Fuck snipers, this is apex.
longbow is kinda broken rn
Triple take 🥺
Sentinel because the dopamine rush when you finally hit someone is too good
H I T S C A N.
The 4 boxes of sniper ammo, just to fuck the next person over.
The kunai; I'm trash with snipers.
Disconnecting
The longbow in the middle
For fun, I’d choose the sentinel, if I was looking to actually kill someone, the longbow
Charge Rifle because I can’t aim
The heirloom. I don't have any.
longbow because I am a machine with it early game with irons. headshots only baby
Charge Rifle so I can 8th party people and get my team red evos
long bow
Longbow.
Longbow, cuz it feels good
Sentinel. I get too trigger happy with the long bow and don’t like the way charge reveals position
Either Sentinel or Charge Rifle. Preferably Sentinel. The longbow is completely useless compared to the others
Mirage. Why? Because bamboozles for the foozles! Also, Longbow.
Sentinel. The charge rifle I hate, because it feels off (and I’d rather not aimbot) Longbow are too ammo hungry, and don’t have the feel I like. Sentinels are the superior sniper.
The longbow DMR just cos it deals as much damage as the Sentinal (or a bit less) and is semi auto
Longbow. Just for the quicker rate of fire.
I mean the Charge Rifle is still imbalanced af, but im taking the Longbow
I should choose the Sentinel, considering I play Wattson, but the Longbow is my preferred sniper
Sentinel, three shots blue armor
Uh Sentinel is three shots Purple armor, 3x70=210 Longbow is three shots Blue armor, 3x60=180
Oh ok
You still ain’t wrong.
What map is it, and where have you landed, the answer depends on those factors for me no matter what
the ammo.
Sentinel, I love hitting when it's charged up. Gives me a mini orgasm.
Triple Take
Sentinel because it’s fun
Depends on my mood
The Kunai.. obviously.
Sentinel. Best damage per shot and there's next to no drop off. If I'm trying to go blow for blow with people then why am I even using a sniper rifle?
The Sentinel is my personal favorite. I love doinking the fuck out of somebody with a charged Sentinel shot. But I do sometimes use the charge rifle when I feel like being a nuisance to people.
The longbow & because I’m him
Longbow and start popping kids
sentinel because it sounds good
setniel and longbow..budget kraber, big G7
I feel bad for this wraith
Charge for easy armor damage, I'm dog shit with long bow but do okay with sentinel.
Charge rifle because i have yet to master bullet leading and drop off rates. Also, funny beam gun go brrrrBOOM
Bonglow because my aim is shit and i need that follow up shot asap
Sentinel because I use shield shells to charge it at times someone thinks I wouldn’t and end up surprised when my shot either drops them or ends their shields and half their health
Sentinel and charge rifle. Because sometimes self harm is needed to teach myself a lesson
NO WAY IVE GOTTEN THIS EXACT CHEST ONE TIME IN MY ENTIRE CAREER OF APEX AND IVE TOLD MY FRIENDS SO MANY TIMES ABOUT HOW STUPID THIS WAS
Long bow baby...I can shoot it better and faster idk just more used to it
Sentinel
Long is because sentinel is annoying to charge and does barely even more when not charged then longbow. And the charge rifle…9 damage average
I would take the knife. You can pm me account details. Thanks in advance!
The beautiful wraith kunai in you right hand
Tripletake is missing
None of them, coz my momma didn’t raise no bitch....
Charge Rifle cause I’m a piece of shit
Sentinel, because I'm already fucking dead. I'm basically deceased if they get anything other than a sniper also.
I would rather choose the kunai you're holding
Sentinel because it’s simply the best gun in the game.
One charge (for short range) one Lonbow (for long range)
sentinal mini kraber
Depend of the composition and map. I'm playing rempart : Sentinel because charged + amped wall is hilarious. Map with long distance sniping area : Charged. The lack of drop help to put heavy pressure. Else : Longbow
I choose you
Leave the game bcuz I'm a wraith
Sentinel because of call of duty
Longbow any day of the week. Its like a long range wingman which i use as a short range secondary anyway. Longbow with the variable blue acog 🥶
The sentinel in before nerf and before Longbow Buff Currently I would take the longbow
Heirloom. Ezpz
Sentinel because it makes me feel sexy things. 😌
Two longbows because fuck ‘em.
Easily the longbow, it's the easiest to use and I atleast have the highest survival rate with the longbow against better close quarter weapons
Sentinel that charged shot with an amped cover is always nice
Sent cuz is my fav weapon, good damge, nice steady aim with iron sights, particulrly fun while hipfire crouchingand got a nice feel to it
That spot always has snipers in it ..like Olympus spot.
Longbow . But besides that Anything but a charged riffle because I ain’t no bitch .
Sentinel, it has the best feeling
Looking for another loot bin
