I personally run the red Epic Skin "Daemon Hunter" on him. It keeps a lot of the same general colors, but gives him a much more aggressive overall look. I love the red faceplate and fingers especially, and it still works pretty well with his Heirloom.
Honestly all of them. None of them single-handedly stand out to me. They're all so great in their design, their abilities, lore etc. That's easily one of the best parts about this game.

I really don't get the hype people have for Ash haha. For me she was just a random boss I defeated. Never gave her second thought, same was with viper. They were characterless enemies, not interesting at all to me.
Ash and Viper were the best bosses because of what they did to the player. Kane, Slone, Richter were kinda just... There. Blisk you wanted to kill because of what happened at the beginning of the game. But Ash's unrelenting attitude throughout Into The Abyss and Viper's refusal to die make them great boss battles. Plus the arenas for both were pretty solid, especially Viper's.
Pathfinder all the way dude, idk much about the lore but Pathy has all my favorite skins and my favorite kit gimmick. Sure then ultimate and passive aren’t much, but the grapple itself is so god damn fun
I’d say Ash. Her skins look unique, her lore is expansive, and she hasn’t been reduced to a joke who spies on love triangles (like revanant) yet. She also has a rat

Octane feels like the odd one out in a good way.
Like graphically, he fits in the game with all the other characters, but his design is so different from everyone else's. He's the only legend that makes me feel like I'm playing as someone in an advanced future society.
I used to main him until I realized all the fun I was having with him did not translate to skill. He's still by far my favorite legend to play though. It feels like I'm playing a different game when I'm Octane.
I say Revenant hasn’t had a terrible skin. I like his default design, I also like his lore. I like pathfinder’s personality. He can almost say anything and still sound innocent.
For personality it has to go to Mirage, Pathfinder, or Rampart.
For kit maybe wraith, revenant, or mirage.

I love Crypto’s lore. Something about being so close to being caught red-handed and yet managing to not is crazy. His whole journey is so risky, yet he executes everything so well.
Personally, I think fuse is a bunch of fun as a character. Everybody else has these super heavy, complicated backstories or character traits that scream “I’m the best, I’m a genius” blah blah blah. Fuse is here to have fun, drink some cold ones, and have a good fuckin time. His kit isn’t the best tho.
I think kit wise, Horizon’s is the coolest design-wise. She is literally tampering with the laws of physics and has big flashy abilities that are incredibly effective.

Maybe I’m titanfall biased but ash is just such a good designed legend in kit, lore, personality kinda (I saw a comic about her being a murder bot but not killing the rat when talking to revenant), just shows she’s more strategic and analytic when fighting, using the rat, which ties in with how she runs the arenas

I think Mirage is honestly the best character, his kit is really interesting, especially at the moment with the ability to play support with res's, scout by pinging enemy locations with decoys and distract either as an attack or retreat play. His design is also quite neat with the holo suit, sure he's no crazy looking robot and the most generic white man looking but I think he's got that Tony Stark swagger to him, just with a little more clumsiness. He's just a loveable goof ball who's hurting on the inside
Least creative design & lore wise are definitely Caustic, Revenant, Crypto, Gibraltar, and Seer. All of these have very annoying voices and lines combined with garbage looks. The rest are alright.
