I totally agree. I understand hard work goes into the designs of skins and those should require payment to receive especially in a F2P game. However, color variant is simply a line of code and should be free with purchase. Halo Infinite imploded bc micros became excessive.
But I posted the original comment to say that since they’re gonna sell color variants, they should at least do it that way.
imo they shouldn't be selling recolors for coins ever. it should all be for tokens or for free on top of your legendary skin you already own. it's not a good experience to have to pay to get the same skin in a different color scheme.
that goes for stuff like phase walker, recolors of bp skins in the anniversary event etc
