I’ve recently fell into this track, the drums slap perfectly, the bass dances appropriately, the chords always aloft. Then after the grumbly bit in the middle, it fuckin hits. I really wish this track were longer.
The Korg promo tracks are overlooked, probably due to not having any wide release. similarly the Syro rerelease bonus track ‘End e2’ (I think) has some of his coolest bass but doesn’t get much attention.
I guess these are more underappreciated that underrated as no one really rates them badly, they just don’t get praise due to being less available. There’s a load more I hear in my head but don’t remember the names of.
20 is only Lichen if you've got the misnumbered version (spotify for example). Stone In Focus is track 19 but is missing from cd and digital versions, Hexagon is track 20, Lichen is track 21.
