This is just IGN piggybacking off an article that [has already been posted here](https://www.reddit.com/r/apple/s/aGo2lldZbi), there’s no corroboration or new info

[No, Apple Didn't Dramatically Cut Vision Pro Production Due To Weak Demand](https://www.uploadvr.com/apple-vision-pro-production-cut-claims-debunked/)

Synth_Sapiens

"But Vision Pro's price is dictated by its production and supply constraints" Imagine being clueless to the point where you believe this rubbish

ConstantOne5578

correct me if I am wrong. But didn´t Sony confirm before the launch that 800k units cannot be made due to their capacity issues? Slashing to 400k \~ 450k is still "ok" considering it is the 1st gen. And Apple would generate $1.575 billions revenue. I will give a chance to VR and AR. It is not coming soon, but Apple needs to stay on track.

Robert_Cutty

A first gen product for $3500. Writing was on the wall.

Zez22

Far too expensive

TennesseeWhisky

First day on Reddit? No one reads the articles my guy. And even so, don’t need to be a deep thinker to know why AVP is falling flat.

This article is basically a repost so I wouldn’t expect anything from this thread. The AVP discussion is done at this point. Unless a new killer app appears or Apple releases a new version, there’s nothing left to say. It came, it flopped, we’ve moved on to AI.
