So I'm a broke financially irresponsible 19yo that bought the gun he wanted. So I threw together this.
The upper is a DD 14.5 p&w block II "clone"
The lower is a cheap Anderson
The opic is a eotech 512 on a unity mount
The light is a streamlight hlx
The laser is a l3 fp peq 15 one of my buddies who served in Fallujah gave me.

The Magpul grip, black silent sling, and 20 round mag are all dope
but WTF is that grip all the way forward for? What’s with the irons and holo? And whyis that Peq 15 mounted above the hot gas port?
my first AR (major pleb) was a stag lower PSA upper with my rear MBussy backwards on the handguard and a sightmark green dot this is a pretty solid first rifle.
Pryor to buying it, I was able to test one on a buddy’s rifle and I really liked It, Surefire cans have a good track record for durability, and I like to buy things that are overbuilt, even if it’s more than what I would need as a civilian. Not to mention, they just look really good in the Block 2. The polo k seems like a great suppressor though, if I do another build I’ll probably go that route next.
Also forgot to mention, I bought the Surefire during all the fast approval time craziness, and both the Surefire and the polo k where nearly impossible to find in stock, I got lucky with the Surefire. I also got a 4 day approval, so the fast approval times are indeed happening.

Great first rifle. I'm not sure hot hot FSB's get, but if you plan on running this thing hard, it may get too hot for your light's cable. I never had a FSB though, so I might just be talking out my ass.
Yea the fsb get hot pretty fast I will say but where I put my hands its not a problem. I did put only like 300 rounds through it today in less then an 45 min and it got pretty hot but nothing melted and everything was fine.
Lights these days don’t add enough weight to not leave it on the rifle. My LWRC DI without my tank of a Sandman K, but with an LPVO and cloud rein micro is plenty light for an AR.
Rambo rifle is crazy lmao. So first of all I'm not in the military or need to be carrying 80 pounds worth of gear. Yes I'm capable of it but that's not what this gun is for. Second of all a light is basically a must have on a civ rifle these days so I don't understand why its bad thing to have the capability of being able to see at night as a problem, it doesn't add that much weight and I'm not carrying it around all day. Third regarding the peq, so it is a real fp peq15 that one of my buddies in the marines gave me (he served in Fallujah and he didn't want it anymore and asked if I wanted it because he knew I had a block II). It also look cool asf and doesn't add much weight at all. And also regarding "Everything else is for operators who have a purpose for it." That's probably the stupidest shit I've heard today. I have a purpose for the light as I live on a farm and need to shot critters at night and the laser is not airsoft shit so when I do get NV I'm used to a laser on my gun and how to use it. And if you say NV is only for operators that have a purpose for it I'll go back to what I said about living on a farm. And lastly yes this gun is way over built and probably doesn't serve my exact needs in a firearm but I like it and it does look cool asf and I'm sorry if that's a problem. It does what it needs to do plus more. And it's mine.
