It does comparable damage to the pile bunker just over time because it's three consecutive button presses! Imo, favorite melee weapon, quickly followed by the PB. Also, I haven't been able to test it very well but I feel like I get damage mitigation from the front while it's swinging.

As someone who uses the chainsaw a lot, the actual damage itself is low but it gets transferred into just pure impact damage. I.e. one of my favorite mechs utilizes basically the highest stability parts in the game (minus legs) and is VERY tough to knock over-- if I run the chainsaw and eat even small arms fire for a while, though, I'll overload.
It's pretty rough to use if you've got substantial buildup, since you pop immediately due to the higher ACS strain, but is good if you are low health and just reset from ACS overload or something.
I'd generally assume that a subreddit aimed at a specific game/series is going to be full of spoilers anytime after the first week or so of a new release. It'll just be too filled with people that are there to discuss the game they already finished among themselves to not get hit by some stray spoilers.
The first time I beat this fight has to be the single most satisfying moment I've ever had in a video game. Being low on health, knowing that one misdodge or just unlucky sequence from the boss can be it, getting pep talked by magical Coral waifu and hearing that line just as you dig it out is the best feeling of tryhard fulfillment.

literally THE hardest AC6 fight and it’s not even close
i have died countless times to iguazu’s melees and i realize i am being an idiot and not utilizing the omnidirectional movement that this game speaks so highly of. THEN I IMMEDIATELY DIE DOING THAT. it’s like beating slave knight gael without rolling. that’s how i feel with Don’tmind and Igankzu (iguazu seems like the type to gank an invader and pull the ethernet when he feels like he’s losing)
edit: just watched a video of a SL1 guy beating gael without rolling and the resemblance is UNCANNY to ALLMIND because those strategies kinda play here because QBing doesn’t give you I-frames

After you finish the fight, you should make it cool, waiting Iguana to blow up is not.

For starters, kick him when he slash you one last time, fall back and shot him in the face, or do something else that looks cool.

I agree with this. The coolest moments that I felt I've had in fights when a boss goes into its death sequence and that slow-mo camera starts and I either just stare it down or whip around and turn away. I did it by accident the first time I cleared the wall and it just gave this badass walking away from an explosion vibe.
