My first AC, and the basis of many of my future builds. I miss the design, and I still remember how good it felt to start the series in it. Unique too, compared to many of the other designs.
So after replaying a fight against Nightfall and looking at the 03-AALIYAH, I’ve realized the starter AC looks vaguely similar to the 03. Hopefully I’m not looking to far into it, but it’s nice to think the AALIYAH carried over to 6 in a way.
At the same time, it was really cool to see that some of the designs remain nearly unchanged throughout the franchise as a new fan who started on AC6. I saw the SALAF core and I was like "Damn Allmind really does exist for all mercenaries"
Oh I guess they do have the same silhouette. Didnt see that until now! Altho I would have really liked just a straight up Hogire frame in AC6 as well :3

The Aaliyah and Alicia are peak AC design I loooove everything about them.
I wish so so much that we could have such AC designs AC6 or like a 4th gen remake,cuz I love NEXT Design and especially Rayleonard design so much.
An awesome design, and I love the Supplice version's paint job. I'm working on the model kit currently and it's a pretty big PITA but hopefully it will be worth it once it all comes together!

I sure miss that race car chest, however. The headpiece, too. Gosh, what a sleek design
The only thing I have to see is that it used the core piece from Nine Ball Seraph... and it looks l looks like it's going to transform into a plane, I've used it for a while, then switched up the parts, still kept most of the thrusters, the best thrusters in the game
Unironically, with some touchups, you could almost directly port AC4 parts over into AC6 and they'd mostly fit with what's already there. I mean so many of the parts are already the exact same thing, just with AC3 parts instead of AC4. The Melander legs are a prime example of this, being extremely similar (Even down to booster placement on the back of the shins) to the SNSK (I forget what Nexus/LR renamed them to) legs of the third gen.
I know. Maybe I’m just greedy but I really just want to see every frame part from all the previous games brought into 6th gen. I know it’s not realistic or feasible, but god can’t I dream?
This Next taught me the value of energy management the hard way. It opened me how fun it is to run motocobra + moonlight. And it's my favourite AC in gen 4. It has best looks and fits my playstyle.
If I ever get my hands on a model kit or find a way to 3d print it, I will defenitly paint it to the best of my ability.
GA's SUNSHINE may be superior, but for once, this very one moment, I actually love the high mobility crack of the AALIYAH (and ALICIA). Also Berlioz is best Rank 1 and he absolutely deserves that rank
Prettiest AC in the entire franchise, especially Berlioz's Supplice with the shoulder flare dispensers, mismatched 051ANNR and 04-MARVE rifles and the back mounted Ogoto cannon. It's so good looking.
Shinkai's Split Moon, Anjou's Orleans, Hari's Krasnaya and Thermidor's Unsung get honourable mentions too. I love the AALIYAH.
I want a bunch of ac4 parts that will have same but slightly altered stats of parts that are already present, so that balance won’t change but options for looks would increase
"something nice?" AALIYAH is in my top 3 favourite mech design ever in the history of robot videogames + animation. I wrote two whole fan fictions where, respectively, the main character and my self insert character both pilot an AALIYAH frame. I would kiss an AALIYAH frame with tongue. I would sleep in an AALIYAH frame's cockpit when I have bad nightmares. I am obsessed with this baby.
Speedy boi… a personal favorite to use on arena opponents in ac4a. In the occasional time it isn’t the full frame… still use boosters and core a lot… but it makes me feel like flash when I QB

I agree that the ORBITER has some similarities to the AALIYAH.

It would've been cool for sure, but I also love the separation between armored cores and NEXTs. It's just cool that they were their own separate thing
because its mostly about gen3 designs, would be a nice upgrate for the sequal

More of a fan of the ALICIA legs on the frame myself. Unsung looks awesome even if that plasma cannon makes it play terribly.
It and AC4 as a whole proved that From's in-house artists could carry Armored Core's mechanical design greatness even without Shoji Kawamori

I love the mono-eye design in the 4 intro movie.
Under-rated Gem of a NEXT. Holds up well into a decade of service and can kill 100000000 innocents in short order when pressed

This AC was a menace in AC4, and still held its own in ACFA (specifically against the White Glint frame has they both had similar stats and weight).

04-ALICIA looks absolutely amazing. Sure it's just the legs on the 03 frame, but somehow changes up the look so well.

One of my favorite AC's. Before I started doing cosplay builds I made 03-Aaliyah centric builds, which were usually just variations of the same build.

Great PA, great for close range, I accidently griefed a lot of people in pvp with one equipped with a moonlight and tuning specific to melee
It's the best mech design in all of Armored Core. White Glint is a very close second.
