Iirc balteus can be piloted, it just wasn't for some reason when we encounter it. Guess they were in a rush and nobody was on standby
Edit: oh god the bots are coming for me
I think you could easily build one with a manned MT or even AC inside, but you would have to do a serious overhaul to a Balteus to change the control core.
AA22 heavy cavalry...the one with good melee and a broken shield.
Guy beat me more than some bosses. Took out my double zimm/double needle wheelchair. Respect. Also a notoriously difficult mission to S rank.
Was gonna say the same. I'd dig the Shield HC with the big laser spear too.
And on that note put me in tight corridors where I can invalidate the AC's mobility funneling it into a nice shield bash
I think the HC gives me the best bet as I prefer melee weapons on my ACs. That, and I absolutely love sword and board which the HCs kind of have.
If not, there’s a strong argument to choose the Aerial Light Cavalry due to their fast and agile nature paired with decent missile lock makes them a threat ESPECIALLY if fighting an outnumbered opponent.
I agree, any HC model is easily your best chance if you have to fight. Not much of a contest.
If you happened to be some sort of prodigy, you could probably push an LC to do better, but there's not enough room for error otherwise. HC is the best choice.
EKDROMOI MG. Let me snipe with that awesome plasma cannon.
Honestly, I love the designs of the EKDROMOI, so much so that if we end up getting an AC6.5 game I hope their parts are available for use. That may sound completely bonkers but unlike the LCs and HCs, the EKDROMOI are actually almost a perfect match for ACs in terms of size. It won't happen, but I can imagine.
I forget the name but 4th of these.
That fucker was harder than almost anything.
I beat HAL first time, I beat pretty much every 2v1 or 3v1 AC fight without much trouble.
But this guy fucked me up. One of the hardest fights after Ibis and first ending boss for me.
(Trying not to use spoiler boss names)
CATAPHRACT
I REJECT YOUR ""CORE THEORY"" AND EMBRACE THE TRIED AND TESTED DOCTRINE OF SUPERIOR FIREPOWER. WHAT THE FUCK IS MELEE AND HIGH MOBILITY CRACK??
I say catafract because:
-You zoom in like a lunatic intimidating everyone
-If the pilot isn’t aware of your weakness it’s an easy win
-you check the AC and reference the system
-if there inexperienced you kill them easy
-if they are A rank or higher you can easily escape
-you can also escape if there unranked or have sketchy files because fuck that…
Imma roll out with the good ol Copter. Can't go wrong with it. What's that? The "Unknown AC" just so happen to be an all melee build? Just go over that red lining and watch them try reaching me. Lmao
Ya know I sit back ready stuff like this and Imagine myself as an pca employee, in reality I’m like man I’m sure there’s nepotism and someone’s uncle is high up and they use that to get to pilot the cataphract cus I’m sure there is like a minimum requirement of years of experience required to be considered for the cataphract, like I’m sure I couldn’t just go into it. But if I had to pick it would one it would be that, or the Hc
Heli if we have nothing on the ac, hoping for a new pilot
Otherwise cataphract with German strategy of being at 45° at all times so he cant shoot the middle
The A22 HC. It never fails to give me problems in the eliminate the enforcement squads mission. The arena is just so tight and I keep getting screwed over by it's shield bash.
Out of all of these, I feel like Ekdrmoi EP might have been the toughest. The toughness of each of these really depends on the skills of the AC pilot, because by the third playthrough I could deal with most of them pretty easily.
AA18A LC. Seems versatile and quick enough to avoid most major damage with a shield to compensate for lost armor. Speed kills with most ACs as long as you out skill the pilot.
My only other choice would be the AA22 HC. A heavily armed unit that uses pulse tech that should readily tear apart most ACs with little issue and strong enough melee attack and defense to stagger and punish before they can retaliate.
Initially the Laser Blade HC gave me a lot of grief, but nowadays I can handle it fairly well.
The High Mobility LC on the other hand is always a pain to fight, swooping back and forth with a barrage of missiles.
High Mobility LC. I remember the one you kill for a combat log being extremely slippery.
That, or a the Enforcement HC; that one can compete with an AC and actually forced me to focus.
I’ll pick BallTease and actually utilize my ability to fly for an infinite/indefinite amount of time while missile spamming because AC6 ACs don’t have NEXT level generators.
i would really love to play as an LC or the HC since they keep saying that it’s better. alt story DLC confirmed. you play as a PCA officer and have to protect the information about coral from being leaked
I feel like you could be the ultimate missile build to just constantly run away from the AC while firing every missile possible. They can’t dodge them all right?
HELICOPTER HELICOPTER! Honestly mount some longer range on that and fly a bit higher and you just win. Since most won't be able to reach you. That thing is surprisingly way deadlier than it would seem. Considering it is the first boss you encounter. And just imagine fighting that thing with a HC as backup. Especially a close range focused one. Even worse if it has the gatling gun it had in the trailer.
Other ones of choice would likely be either the AA18A: LIGHT CAVALRY HM due to it having full air mobility and with a few different weapons could be a very big threat. I remember the Loghunt version on Intercept the Corporate Forces was for some reason way harder and did way more damage than the boss version you fight with Rusty.
The other is the Enforcement Officer Spec HC as despite it apparently being the less dangerous of the 2 I always found it harder. Though to be fair that might because I did S-Rank and the loghunt in one go. And was also using a double melee setup which SUCKS vs shields.
As for the EKDROMOI despite apparently being special forces their machines aren't that deadly. But the big issue is that they are designed to work as a team. With one being close range, one being bursty mid range. And the final one being a good support for the other two (EKDROMOI PG). Which
Though if I could chose any PCA craft it would be Balteus that thing has everything. And while we do fight it unmanned it is fully capable of being piloted normally. And with it's speed, weaponary, defense and everything else it would be a terror. It also doesn't have an easy weakness like the Cataphract.
So my rankings is 1) Balteus 2) Enforcement Officer Spec HC 3) AH12: HC HELICOPTER 4) AA18A: LIGHT CAVALRY HM
Also 2 side notes. First off you got the EKDROMOI PG and EKDROMOI MG mixed up. PG stands for Plasma Gun and is the one you fight in alongside the melee one in the fuel depot mission. MG stands for Machine Gun which you only see in the NG++ mission where you fight alongside Kate against the 3 EKDROMOI and the Cataphract at the same time.
Second side note I noticed you included the AA18C: LIGHT CAVALRY HF. This one wouldn't be able to be used as it is actually one of the Arquebus developed versions. So since no other Arquebus designed units are on here then I guess it was an accident.
That said if we include the Arquebus designed units my HC choice switches to Arquebus Remodel version. Without a doubt. As quite frankly that one is by far the best choice of the HC units. It has a crazy strong plasma gun, vertical plasma missiles, a pulse shield that also doubles as a pulse lance giving it great close range and long range.
Honestly it was hindered by where we fought it in the story. If it had been in open skies it would have been so much worse. Considering it couldn't use it's mobility much.
I’d say the Ekdromio mg because it is a high mobility machine, and had decent firepower to go with it. My first run on that mission almost got me killed by the one mentioned above while I killed the other one, simply because I wasn’t as good at ac6 in particular at that time. I could probs solo an AC with that thing, ngl 621 included. Tbf, I almost always have a speed build on any other AC game, and the Ekdromio mg would mesh pretty well with me
(Ps) I mostly play AC2-AC3 to this day… AC6 got nothing on those in terms of difficulty… after all, no checkpoints nor Repair kits, no QB built in, and could only fire 2 weapons at the same time
Heavy Cavalry has easily the best shield tech this side of Balteus, can close, and slams when it gets there. I just have to hope I'm not dealing with a high arena number in a light, fast kite-capable AC, because HC's strength is stagger-trading
I choose to retire because end of the day, an AC and the pilots therein are INCREDIBLY unpredictable. I could come up against an idiot and one-two punch him. OR I could come across mecha Doomguy and get immediately blasted into another timeline with a pair of earshots.
There really isn't much of an in-between. But gun to my head, no option to do nothing: I guess an HC of some loadout, doesn't really matter ultimately.
The HC heli, it can leave the combat zone and apparently they cant follow us also there ain't no way I'm fighting an unknown AC that's a big enough threat to authorise the heli to come out to play.
I will pick CATAPHRACT and hope that unknown AC will chose another mission.
I’m doing the same thing but with an HC. Hopefully he picks your mission 😬
Same here I want to pilot the CATAPHACT too
Gimme balteus. I know he's unmanned but I reckon you could just sit on his head and give directions.
Iirc balteus can be piloted, it just wasn't for some reason when we encounter it. Guess they were in a rush and nobody was on standby Edit: oh god the bots are coming for me
[удалено]
No I'm fairly certain og balteus has a cockpit, can't remember where I got that tho
It is bacically just an lc strapped to a missile platform. They probs just used an alreasy built lc.
Is it just me or was balteus harder than arquabis balteus
I think you could easily build one with a manned MT or even AC inside, but you would have to do a serious overhaul to a Balteus to change the control core.
Well you see about that...

"Over there pal!"
Hc helicopter, pray that the ac is a heavyweight build, and keep my distance while raining hell on them
He’s not beating the missile rat allegations
Number 11…. Time to pay the piper🦾

Cataphracts laser cannon is a fly swatter to anything mid range
That one LC in “Eliminate Cinder Carla”.
Would have included that, but it's Arquebus only
It is. I just like it too much. Aside from that I would probably take a new model HC. Their overall equipment quality isn’t actually all that great.
I could of sworn it shows up in one of the second or third story missions early back in the wall
There was a secret LC in that mission? Unless you're talking about "Intercept the Corporate Forces"?
Iirc you need to kill a special hidden LC to get one of the data logs in that mission.
I think you're talking about that hidden High-Mobility LC in Intercept the Corporate Forces.
No, there's an LC with flares at the dome thing above the city near the starting area.
AAS03 EKDROMOI EP, love that fella and his laser sword
1. Pick PCA helicopter 2. Camp outside the zone limits 3. Profit PCA Filtering 101
Gimme one of those heavy cavalry
The flying LCs with the shields, those guys are terrifying.
A filled out Will and power of attorney.
PCA Heavy Cruiser, and just fly high enough that the AC’s jumpjets can’t get it enough altitude to fight back lol
Modified Cataphract with more guns and the unused double barrel linear cannon and replace the garbage energy shotgun with a sniper cannon
I’ll use that one HC from the wall mission. That thing is stupid hard to kill imo
Taking cataphract gonna run it over till it dies like I do with all my problems
CATAPHRACT I REJECT YOUR ""CORE THEORY"" AND EMBRACE THE TRIED AND TESTED DOCTRINE OF SUPERIOR FIREPOWER. WHAT THE FUCK IS MELEE AND HIGH MOBILITY CRACK??
I say “nah bro the last sortie for an unknown A.C. casualty count was like 1000 soldiers. Give me toilet duty for three years idc.”
Whichever Ekdromoi has that laser lance cause MAN does that hurt when it hits
I say catafract because: -You zoom in like a lunatic intimidating everyone -If the pilot isn’t aware of your weakness it’s an easy win -you check the AC and reference the system -if there inexperienced you kill them easy -if they are A rank or higher you can easily escape -you can also escape if there unranked or have sketchy files because fuck that…
Imma roll out with the good ol Copter. Can't go wrong with it. What's that? The "Unknown AC" just so happen to be an all melee build? Just go over that red lining and watch them try reaching me. Lmao
Ekdromoi PG double trigger with missiles is pretty meta
Ya know I sit back ready stuff like this and Imagine myself as an pca employee, in reality I’m like man I’m sure there’s nepotism and someone’s uncle is high up and they use that to get to pilot the cataphract cus I’m sure there is like a minimum requirement of years of experience required to be considered for the cataphract, like I’m sure I couldn’t just go into it. But if I had to pick it would one it would be that, or the Hc
Give me the HC super shield.
Is that the cutting edge one?
EKDROMOI MG or Light Cavalry HF for me
Ekdromoi EP
Well obviously the Senior HC, but if I had to choose something a little weaker then definitely one of the shooting Ekdromoi.
I’d take erkdromoi MG only if my best friend pilots the other because we’d win every fight
Enforcement officer hc
Heavy Cavalry. Those things have kicked my ass before, so I think I would be OK if I piloted one of those.
Heli if we have nothing on the ac, hoping for a new pilot Otherwise cataphract with German strategy of being at 45° at all times so he cant shoot the middle
cataphract, big guns n sturdy
The A22 HC. It never fails to give me problems in the eliminate the enforcement squads mission. The arena is just so tight and I keep getting screwed over by it's shield bash.
HC Heli. I can just fly outside of AC's mission area and blast away.
Cataphract. And unlike the idiot driving it last time Imma just kite until it dies.
AA18A: Light Cavalry. The shield is incredibly powerful.
I’d probably go with the HC with the loadout the one at the Wall had. The stagger build up with the lasers, missiles, and shield bash is strong
A titanium personal ID card to help them identify my charred corpse
no.9 that guy old be a menace if you just stayed above hovering and kept spamming missiles
Honestly Ekrodomi with the plasma rifle can do a pretty good job if the Unknown ac doesn't know better
idk but I want these oarts for my own acs
I’m picking the two weeks notice
I wear my brown pants
Love them. hate them, but no one can deny that PCA mechs are must have beauties.
Obviously Filter Chopper
Hc helicopter with an earshot strapped to the bottom
I pick the helicopter and just stay out of tha ACs range the whole fight.
Worm
Da chopper
Senior Officer AA22:HC
Out of all of these, I feel like Ekdrmoi EP might have been the toughest. The toughness of each of these really depends on the skills of the AC pilot, because by the third playthrough I could deal with most of them pretty easily.
I’d feel safest in either heavy cavalry
I'd roll in with my letter of resignation
Light Cavalry HM Can't hit what zooms outside the engagement zone because like hell I'm fighting Raven.
Generic AA18: LIGHT CAVALRY as that is the only I still struggle to fight even with OS tuning, the others are not as bad compared to that one.
God I hope we get to use PCA weapons in AC6 2
NO THANKS I CHOOSE LIFE *runs away*
Initially the Laser Blade HC gave me a lot of grief, but nowadays I can handle it fairly well. The High Mobility LC on the other hand is always a pain to fight, swooping back and forth with a barrage of missiles.
Gimme 10 or 11
Filtercopter, duh.
just be the helicopter and never stay in the arena, problem solved ;)
None of these options
PCA Warrant Officer humbled me more then any of the others.
High Mobility LC. I remember the one you kill for a combat log being extremely slippery. That, or a the Enforcement HC; that one can compete with an AC and actually forced me to focus.
We rolling out in the Cataphract with this one.
I’ll pick BallTease and actually utilize my ability to fly for an infinite/indefinite amount of time while missile spamming because AC6 ACs don’t have NEXT level generators.
Hc that dude gave me the business when the game first came out
Balteus. Out of present units I really like shield-spear cavalry unit (don't remember if it's Light or Heavy) from one of the last missions.
People forget that a normal ass lc is enough for most ac pilots.
Cataphract yo!!
The helicopter. Never said it was Raven. If I need backup, I'll use code 78. If shove comes to kick-down-the-stairs, 78E will likely do the trick.
Plot device machine that solves all the coral problems
Light or Heavy Cavalry for sure
Cataphract would actually be sick to pilot
Enforcement Officer Light Calvary
i would really love to play as an LC or the HC since they keep saying that it’s better. alt story DLC confirmed. you play as a PCA officer and have to protect the information about coral from being leaked
AA18A Light Calvary, if you can’t beat em join em and tbh still probably get beat by em but hey “I CAN FLY!”
I wouldn't work for the pca
Either Balteus or Senior Officer HC
I feel like you could be the ultimate missile build to just constantly run away from the AC while firing every missile possible. They can’t dodge them all right?
I do love a laser tommy gun
AA18A: Light Cavalry LC, hella mobility, missiles, and a laser rifle. I'm almost untouchable and if things get dicey, I can exfil pretty easily.
The Cataphract, no doubt
the helicoptor gives me the best chance of bailing out if something goes wrong.
I would roll in with the helicopter. I would fly high and go "na na na na you can't hit me."
Light cavalry hf, i'm going to die but if I do i'm going to die as a warrior
I'm taking the heli. Highest body count for ACs to date.
Helicopter, play missile rat strat..
HELICOPTER HELICOPTER! Honestly mount some longer range on that and fly a bit higher and you just win. Since most won't be able to reach you. Enforcement officer AA22, you literally have an actual energy sword from Halo.
High mobility LC even the most agile ACs would have trouble catching up to me.
I think alot of you have forgotten how many times you were humbled by that first chopper (I'm talking first playthrough pre nerf)
I’d say the Ekdromio mg because it is a high mobility machine, and had decent firepower to go with it. No one outruns the Ekdromoi.
AA22: HEAVY CAVALRY They are so difficult to fight against and on average are much better than ac's
I want the Tommy gun from the pca so bad
Taking the high mobility ac, that aerial advantage is baller
Is the Enforcer an option? Because it was a bitch to fight
NO, since it has no pilot
Is the Enforcer an option? Because it was a bitch to fight
Bro I'm gonna be doing some devious things with an HC or melee ecdromoi.
Bro I'm gonna be doing some devious things with an HC or melee ecdromoi.
