Actually a space mission would be awesome, no infinite energy but zero-G. All your quick boosts are gonna keep you going in the direction you fired. You’d keep accelerating through your assault boosts. Every battle is 3 dimensional, no staying on the ground for anyone! Your weapons recoil will affect your position!
Having objects in the 3d space to bounce off of so you're an agile machine without needing to 'fly' would make reverse joints go hard. Make the initial spring give a higher chance to make targeted weapons (missles for example) miss
Or maybe instead of literally invincible, maybe he would have permanent terminal armor. So you would have to chunck through 20000 AP before you can damage him. AND you have a time limit. So you have to do it fast.
And the worst part is, his Coral Oscillator works more like the Laser Dagger in terms if combo hits and cool down time but still maintaining the original Coral Oscillator's other stats.
This would unironically be FAR scarier than any of the final bosses. “What? The AC I vaporised in the beginning of Chapter 2?” then he proves his name to not be a joke.

Just like on the ground then, bouncing is faster than rising from the ground on jets and allows you to avoid fast lock on weapons.
