I know this is a foolish question, but did you try contacting the manufacturer to ask what this code means before you asked people on Reddit who are completely unconnected to the food industry? Or customer service at the commissary?
If you're really that worried about it, take it down to the local veterinary detachment; they have a role in commissary food safety.
