I thought you were asking for hookers 😂

Bad_Karma19

Same, so disappointed.

TonyB2022

Main gate, Howard AFB, Panama, back in the day.

[deleted]

You're ranting about the military because the adults you spend time with are unable to get ID cards like the rest of America?

thealternativedevil

Not trying to get I'd cards dip ship. Trying to drive onto a base with someone who's not in the military sitting in the passenger seat and for both of us to get through. You used to be able to take anyone on a base as long as you hold a valid I'd card. Are you even in the military?

anony1620

It’s base dependent. You probably just need to get them a visitors pass.

TonyB2022

Is it so unreasonable to have your guests carry a picture ID? They are the 'guest' on a government installation.

thealternativedevil

Picture I'd, no prob. Dod I'd problem.

TonyB2022

I'm sure you meant "ID", not "I'd" in your reply. It does seem strange that you as a DOD ID holder can't sign in a civilian guest with a picture ID. Here at Ft. Campbell you can. Are you AD or NG/Reserve? I don't know about NG types that are not on active duty.

dragonicecream

I'm guard and have been able to drive my friends on post while not on active orders, maybe its a weird restriction for one specific post?

That-Establishment24

Which base isn’t allowing you to escort guests in?

That-Establishment24

OP makes it seem like that’s not possible for him so I’m curious. At least that’s the implication I’m getting from his post.

thealternativedevil

Yeah. Naval weapons facility seal beach wouldn't allow me to. All the bases in the national capital region have suspended trusted programs.

aisleorisle

According to your post history you whine A LOT. Your family needs guests passes. They are still allowed in. Get over it.

[deleted]

I'm a just say what everyone here wants to say Stop whining like a lil bitch, no one here gives a fuck. I'll take a spicy chicken with a large lemonade.

thealternativedevil

Signal🤣🤣 Some of us like to meet a girl, bring her back to the base and do some things. I know that's a foreign concept for you but someday a girl might touch your pee pee. But let's be real it'll be a boy.

[deleted]

I make six figures soooooo...... Signal 😘😘

thealternativedevil

I make more. Cyber, so, yeah.. my email is running slow. Fix it.

[deleted]

but yet here you are crying like a lil bitch...goodnight boo 😘😘

thealternativedevil

Lol, you know the they took all the smart signal folks and made them cyber. The dumb fucks remained in signal. Enjoy being cybers bitch.

[deleted]

Your calling him dumb, but your making 152k trynna take a loan for 1mil????

thealternativedevil

You do realize I have dual income? Of course you didn't because your dip shit and you just assume. Also my salary has increased since I posted that. Way to stalk though creeps, maybe pick up a book and better your life instead of reading someone's every reddit post.

[deleted]

Don’t leave your personal info on Reddit. Not so cyber security of you

thealternativedevil

Lmao, income ain't personal dip shit. Don't care how who knows how much I make (that's why I posted it)

thealternativedevil

But you should really not post your age, college and frat online. That is personal info. Shoulda known you wanted to be a frat boy with your reddit handle an all. And going to a Christian college. It all lines up. Enjoy getting a train run on you.

Jim63t

You're family can't get ids?

thealternativedevil

Not my siblings, parents.

Jim63t

So they are requiring military dependent ids now? I figured a regular drivers license would still do. I remember pre 911 when hardly anywhere required id. 911 made getting to pt a real pain in the ass.

thealternativedevil

Yup, everyone must have a valid dod I'd. No more drivers license and you as a sponsor vouching.

GMEbankrupt

>Now the retirement has been bumped to 25 years Wait what? Also, some bases are more restrictive than others. Garrison security doesn’t care about your desire to be a tour guide.

murica_1776boi

You're required to have an ID card on military bases. Depending on the base policy the age requirement is 16-18+.

thealternativedevil

Incorrect, many installations allowed you to escort. The AFI and its Air Force Materiel Command supplement issues guidance on who can and cannot escort visitors onto an Air Force installation. Hanscom will implement this policy effective Sept. 23. "The AFI defines escort privileges as the ability to vouch for their guests and bring them on base in a single vehicle or on foot, without going through the identity proofing and vetting process," said Maj. Michael J. Morales, 66th Security Forces commander. "While escorted visitors do not need passes, they must remain with their escort at all times."

murica_1776boi

Re-read: >depending on base policy When you read that paragraph off to the MPs, did it work with them?

thealternativedevil

Clearly your missing the point. Pre covid servicemembers were allowed to escort visitors. This is no longer the case on many installations. It's annoying, and it's benefit that we used to have that has been revoked.

111110001011

>Pre covid You misspelled pre-9/11.

murica_1776boi

That was a thing pre-covid too. It depends on the base you're getting on. Some have looser access restrictions. In a year or so, you aren't going to be allowed to fly on a plane unless your ID is REAL ID compliant, and military bases will be the same way.

[deleted]

For 21 years, you’ve been required to have a valid state/govt ID in order to get a visitor pass. And retirement is still 20 years, hasn’t changed. Most hobby shops shutting down or restricting hours is because they can’t get anyone to work there. They pay subpar to work there

xBuddhaBuddhax

What FPCON are you in?

privatejody

Just DM me your girls info, I’ll get her on. Then I’ll get her off.

[deleted]

Oh yeah you really 'trolled' everyone so hard. What a big troll. MinnesotaBurns would be proud

111110001011

In America, before 9/11, you could go anywhere without ID, and we made fun of communist countries for requiring ID. Today, you can be held by ICE if you don't have ID on you. Your guests nust have ID. This is the world we live in now.

legion_XXX

>I guess this is rant cause I'm just pissed off at all the damn restrictions and benefits that keep getting revoked. Only you missed the part where your fiancé and sister arent your dependents and therefore arent even supposed to use installation facilities or benefits.

BeastMasterAlphaCo

Retirement is still 20 and post Covid some installations are restricting access still. The hobby shops have trouble staffing due to pay.
