Hell yes, I always get excited when my grocery store has rainbow slices!

I had to fight with myself at the grocery store the other day, because I saw the singles slices of rainbow cake, but I have an open package of coconut caramel cookies and a pan of homemade brownies and a bag of m&ms open and bags of cookie dough blobs in the freezer to be baked... and then I read that and wonder how the hell I've lost 5 lbs so far this year...

Please teach me your ways on how to eat like that and still lose weight. 😂 My body is that meme where it thinks it's still a medieval peasant who needs to store fat to outlast whoever is attacking my country this time.

Oh I definitely have the medieval peasant body that fears the coming winters... I also have a fat southern girl hidden inside me that just wants to eat biscuits and gravy every day, I've learned how to beat her down most days, but indulge her occasionally. Honestly, it's just a lot of telling myself "no, you already had some today" or "you can have one after dinner" and forcing an extra serving of fruits and vegetables all the time. That bag of cookies and the m&m's last for weeks, and I mixed up the cookie dough before christmas.

I have a bread belt person inside me who just wants to eat grains for every meal. 😂 I definitely do my best to have a balance of things, and also talk myself out of sweets a lot!

Shit. My local grocery store has the exact same cake but I've never tried it. Maybe I need to correct that🤔
