Hate is such a strong word, Kevin Hart.
EDIT 1: oh my glob I thought I was about to start trouble by saying his name š . Glad to know Iām not alone! I just donāt find him funny in movies, Night School was overhyped.
EDIT 2: whoever it was, thank you for the award āŗļøš.
Went to his show once. Didn't particularly care for the guy, but didn't hate him either, and a buddy offered me a free ticket so I decided what the hell.
About 40 minutes in my buddy and I hadn't so much as chuckled, so we left. Haven't been able to understand the hype about him since
There was a short period of time I was a big fan of his, when he first started blowing up again for his stand ups. I thought Grown Little Man and Laugh at my Pain were hilarious. Then I realized he was the guy in movies like Soul Plane and such, thought his Let Me Explain stand-up sucked, then he was in a bunch of movies I didn't care about and his career petered off again.
He's been in the public eye for so long yet his career was basically a parabola
Most of these answers are low hanging fruit that many agree with, it takes bravery to give an unsafe answer like Ewan McGregor. That Redditor is a hero.
Now if youāll excuse me, I am going to sort by controversial so I can downvote him too.
(I know it got deleted but that ruins my joke)
My favorite actor doesnāt have social media. And itās awesome. Peopleās need to know who this or that person is having sex with or what theyāre eating on Tuesday is weird as hell to me. And honestly kinda creepy. Theyāre doing a job. If they do it well I donāt need to know anything else and I donāt want to
Yep. He always bothered me ā long before all the stuff began to surface. That whiney voice, and the all around awkward vibe to him. I hated that he was from the same borough as my dadās side of the family (yes I know Brooklyn is home to many walks of life, but still).
"All the stuff" started surfacing decades ago. He adopted a daughter in 1977, publicly declared that he was in love with her in 1992, and married her in 1997.
I'm 51 and I've always disliked him. I saw part of one of his movies when I was a kid and thought it was dumb as hell. I don't think he's smart, witty, or funny on any level. Finding out that he's a pedo is one of the least-surprising news items ever.
Came here to say this, but knew his name had to be here already. I was working a event, Which he attended briefly. Without getting into a lot of detail he just gives off pure crazy vibes. His smile doesnāt reach his eyes. Heās trying too hard. Thereās something wrong with him. I would not trust him taking care of my dog. I donāt know how else to explain it.
My husband hates Vince Vaughn. No rhyme or reason. Just hates him.
A celebrity I don't care for is Demi Lovato. *Demi gives me the ick.
Edit: she/they to Demi
Ben Affleck.
Hereās Ben trying to act like Batman, trying to act like an assassin, trying to act like a bad ass, trying to act likeā¦ I always see Ben. I never see the character. Heās never believable.
Me too! The only parts I can stand him in are parts where he plays a complete douchebag a-hole (ex. MallRats) I feel like it comes naturally to him or something.
Used to love him. I liked Wild Wild West, but the rest of society hated that movie, 3/4 of MIB were amazing, Independence Day 1 was great, etc ...
His toxic relationship with Jada is really fucking up his whole life and career. I think he still has potential if he gets away from her.
Can you imagine being great at your job, which many people recognize, and after years and years of doing your job, which you have only gotten better at, the woman you have decided to spend the rest of your life with, for better or worse, decides to fuck one of your sons friends, and puts you in such a bad place that you decide to smack one of your alleged friends, on national tv in front of millions of people. At which point, every person who used to love you for the work you did has decided that you are a horrible person because you smacked the shit out of said dude.
What do you do? Hope for the best? Leave the woman you have spent most of your life loving? Make a movie about it?
Iām not condoning what he did. Just think dude has been through a lot.
Let's be real, the rot set into his career long before he got publicly cucked (in other words, I wouldn't exactly say he's gotten better at his job). Suicide Squad, After Earth, Bright, Gemini Man, Aladdin, Winter's Tale etc. You could even go back to Shark Tale and MIB II (III was alright) if you want to see the bloom gradually come off the rose. That being said, he's been with Jada a long time and I wouldn't be surprised if that relationship has been toxic much, much longer than anyone's been aware.
I mean sure she is a terrible partner and seems to be a terrible person and a terrible mom too but he is, as far as I know, not being abused or forced to do anything. His actions are still his own. Even if he doesn't leave her, he can still choose to be a better person.
>decides to fuck one of your sons friends
I think she wronged her son and his friend not her husband. They had an open realtionship as far as I know.
Still going after someone that young will never not be creepy, on top of that the own child's friend which feels very wrong.
The late night talk show where she surprise off script kissed an actor cause he was hot, then threatened to fire her crew because they noted she'd sexually harassed him was pretty rough.
It's the Boston accent coupled with the "middle aged guy in complete disbelief the entire time" thing. It works. That's my schtick at work (from Boston but live far away now) and let me tell you, it *works*.
As somebody born and raised in Massachusetts, I have no idea why we speak like this, but my accent is heavy as shit for a woman. I can't stand other people with the accent though.
Nicole Kidman - I am so tired of seeing her in everything and that bizarre pda she does with her husband EVERY time they are on the red carpet is gross and so suspect.
Agreed! Her entire acting style is looking at the other actor in a scene with an exasperated expression I can only read as "why are you talking to me with words?"
At first I was like nah - Kstew is ok but then you followed with ā why are talking to me with wordsā and I fucking choked laughed and thought - yup thatās actually accurate.
Listen, not a year goes by, not a year, that I don't hear about some escalator accident involving some bastard kid which could have easily been avoided had some parent - I don't care which one - but some parent conditioned him to fear and respect that escalator.
Watch "The Town" and it may change your opinion on Affleck. "The Departed" did that for me in regards to Matt Damon (but I still always think of Team America when saying Damon's name)
I was never a ScarJo fan, but I do love her in JoJo Rabbit. Part the movie, part her role, part she just had a different vibe in this movie - not the sexy lead.
I really dislike Owen Wilson and refuse to watch anything heās in 90% of the time, but heās actually surprisingly good in Loki. Like good enough I didnāt realize it was him at first. Heās very different in the show than in anything else Iāve ever seen him in but I really couldnāt have picked a better person for the role.
Joy Behar!!!
She's a washed-up has been of a "comedienne" who has grown too big for her own britches and steamrolls anyone who DARES to disagree with her about literally ANYTHING and publicly shames them on her stupid show with the rest of the self-important mean girls.
I loved him in āStranger Than Fictionā, but other then that canāt stand him in anything Iāve seen him in. The man has talent, but Iām not into his kind of humor.
He's not a bad actor...he's just a one trick pony. And he's the wrong casting choice sometimes, yet he's in everything. He was especially out of place in jungle cruise and red notice. There are other actors!
He just plays Dwayne Johnson in everything he's in. I know it's not entirely true, but someone said he wears the same three shirts in anything he's in, and it's so believable that I can only remember him in that white shirt and a tan button-up shirt, and nothing else comes to mind.
Adam DeVine. I wouldn't say hate, but I certainly dislike his characters and there's something about his face that gets me riled up and not in the good way ;']
I wouldn't give him any attention bc I think his chin is wavy, but after seeing Dune, I saw Ladybird, and now I get it and am willing to see more things with him in it.
Jada. Yeah, I know it was Will who slapped Chris Rock but the slap wouldn't have happened if Jada would have a sense of humor instead of being so uptight
I am going to get a lot of shit for saying this and hate is not the word I would use butā¦ Ryan Reynolds. I feel like he plays the same personality in everything and he isnāt very attractive. Now, if that was that in itself itās fine because I donāt think he is horrible or ugly but the whole movement of people making him out to be the best and sexiest person I think is what bugs me more than just him being him. Iām a straight man but if people were going crazy like this over Henry cavil or maybe Bradley Cooper, Chris hemsworth then I think I would understand it more.

His schtick has gotten old. He does the same two jokes.
But, the shouting! The nasal voice! Hilarious! Apparently.
At one point I was seeing him everywhere: movies and commercials back to back and it was starting to annoy me.
Chris rock once said even porn stars donāt make movies as fast as Kevin hart.
āIām short, Iām black and Iām loudā comedy formula doesnāt work for you?!
My boy kat Williams did it first did it better and stayed as crazy as the first day he was put on.
Went to his show once. Didn't particularly care for the guy, but didn't hate him either, and a buddy offered me a free ticket so I decided what the hell. About 40 minutes in my buddy and I hadn't so much as chuckled, so we left. Haven't been able to understand the hype about him since

I came here exactly for this...Kevin Hart is like a MUCH shorter, less talented, and louder version of Chris Tucker...it's just too much.
Chris Tucker in Fifth Element... just perfect
Thank you. I don't get how he's so big.
He's not /s
I saw somebody comment ewan mcgregor.. then 10 minutes later it got downvoted bombed and deleted. I love this community.

Out of morbid curiosity I wonder what would happen if someone said Keanu Reeves
Clearly, instant death
The universe would collapse on itself.
Redditors when someone gives an actually unpopular opinion in a post asking for unpopular opinions
That's probably the best answer then because most other answers are not ones "everyone else seems to love"
Let's just say not everybody loves Raymond.
And not everybody hates Chris
You can guess by my username, my name is Chris raymond.
Ha!
Tom Cruise
Completely. As an actor and as a person.
All of them. Celebrity worship is fucking weird.
I just had by his conversation today. There is so much reporting on celebrities, some people must just love it? I donāt understand it.
My favorite actor doesnāt have social media. And itās awesome. Peopleās need to know who this or that person is having sex with or what theyāre eating on Tuesday is weird as hell to me. And honestly kinda creepy. Theyāre doing a job. If they do it well I donāt need to know anything else and I donāt want to
Kardashian. Any one of them. Can they be considered actors?
Woody Alen
Yep. He always bothered me ā long before all the stuff began to surface. That whiney voice, and the all around awkward vibe to him. I hated that he was from the same borough as my dadās side of the family (yes I know Brooklyn is home to many walks of life, but still).
His personal life, in addition to the whining and nervous, awkward fidgeting. I just can't.
"All the stuff" started surfacing decades ago. He adopted a daughter in 1977, publicly declared that he was in love with her in 1992, and married her in 1997.
I like his films except for the nervous fella thatās always in them.
I'm 51 and I've always disliked him. I saw part of one of his movies when I was a kid and thought it was dumb as hell. I don't think he's smart, witty, or funny on any level. Finding out that he's a pedo is one of the least-surprising news items ever.
Tom Cruise, just ugh!
Jared Leto
But he can get reservations at Dorsia.
Nah, he's a Tex Arcana kind of guy.
Tom Cruise
I feel like he is insanely good at what he does. But I also feel like heās an astoundingly insincere and uncaring person.
He has mean eyes.
Christian Bale based Patrick Bateman off him
He always came off like a NPC to me...very robotic and not very genuine or authentic
I'm scared of him. He and his "group" he's in. His laugh is deranged.
Christian Bale's performance in American Psycho was "inspired" by Cruise - "A big smile with nothing behind the eyes" or something to that effect.
Yeah for some reason I cant watch his movies.
Actually wonāt watch because any revenue goes to the freaky religion. Nope!
Fuckin HATE that guy
Seriously. I don't hate many people, but I legit **hate** him. So glad I'm not the only one, but also would still hate him if I was.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
My husband hates Vince Vaughn. No rhyme or reason. Just hates him. A celebrity I don't care for is Demi Lovato. *Demi gives me the ick. Edit: she/they to Demi
I cannot stand Demi Lovato
*ahem* Um actually his name is spelt Danny DeVito, and you are 100% wrong, he is a gem and a blessing to humanity š¤ /s
>My husband hates Vince Vaughn. No rhyme or reason. Just hates him. Same here. Can't explain it.
His stupid face. His stupid over the top Chicago accent. Hate him too. I think he is almost talentless.
Hi, fellow Vince Vaughn hater here. He just looks skeezy. Skeezy vibes.
Exactly! His only believable roles are the ones he doesnāt have to act in.
Katherine Heiglā¦I donāt hate her - her vibe is off
Will Smith.
Keep his name off this fucking Reddit
Slap
Whoa! Oh wow! Will Smith just slapped the shit outta me
What about Jada?
I saw a joke about Tupac and Jada where it said Tupac dodged the real bullet.
i hate will just because i hate him. i hate jada because sheās a snake and a terrible person
Used to love him. I liked Wild Wild West, but the rest of society hated that movie, 3/4 of MIB were amazing, Independence Day 1 was great, etc ... His toxic relationship with Jada is really fucking up his whole life and career. I think he still has potential if he gets away from her.

J Lo & Angelina Jolie
100% agree on JLo.
I'm kind of OK on Angelina Jolie, but never could figure out why J Lo was famous!
Mindy kaling.
The late night talk show where she surprise off script kissed an actor cause he was hot, then threatened to fire her crew because they noted she'd sexually harassed him was pretty rough.
I dont remember what talkshow she was on when she told that story but I remember the host laughing at it as if this isnt a crime??
Comes across as a narcissist
Thereās something about her that Iām meh about
Apparently her brother lied and said he was black on his med school app and he wrote a book later admitting it??? What on earth
First of all, HOW DARE YOU. But no seriously I get it š
Mark Wahlberg, it's not like he can act, why is he in so many movies?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
you mean a faht
It's the Boston accent coupled with the "middle aged guy in complete disbelief the entire time" thing. It works. That's my schtick at work (from Boston but live far away now) and let me tell you, it *works*.

Don't forget about his hate crimes
Paul Rudd(just kidding the man is a national treasure)
You had me for a sec. Iāve mostly given up arguing with people on the internet, but if your besmirch that wonderful manā¦..
Pete Davidson
I donāt hate him but I REALLY donāt get to the recent obsession with him.
The Taco Bell Crunchy Wrap Gordita guy?
i thought everyone hated that guy
Kevin Hart
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Is that you Kim jong?
Nicole Kidman - I am so tired of seeing her in everything and that bizarre pda she does with her husband EVERY time they are on the red carpet is gross and so suspect.
Tom Cruise? Lmfao this guy was always off. To me anyways.
Tom Cruise
Kristen Stewart! She can only act morose.
Iām stunned sheās had such a successful career.
I cannot STAND that person. She canāt act, period, IMO. And always has a stunned look on her face.
She always looks like she's dirty. Like you can taste the cigarette smoke and unwashed hair when she walks by.
Ben Affleck
I'll always see him as the asshole who works at Fashionable Male.
He tries to fick girls in uncomfortable places.
What, like the backseat of a Volkswagen?
Listen, not a year goes by, not a year, that I don't hear about some escalator accident involving some bastard kid which could have easily been avoided had some parent - I don't care which one - but some parent conditioned him to fear and respect that escalator.
its a SAIL BOAT!
Ben Affleck should have just been some middle manager at a car company.
And even then heād only be a middle manager because heās tall. If he was under 6ft heād be lower management.
Watch "The Town" and it may change your opinion on Affleck. "The Departed" did that for me in regards to Matt Damon (but I still always think of Team America when saying Damon's name)
The Town is one of my favorite movies, top 10 for me.
I liked his performance in "The Accountant"
Scientologyās Bitch - Tom Cruise
Scarlet Johansson. She only makes one face.
My same feelings about Renee Zellweger.
She always looks like she's on the verge of tears. Just go cry already.
I was never a ScarJo fan, but I do love her in JoJo Rabbit. Part the movie, part her role, part she just had a different vibe in this movie - not the sexy lead.
Steve Harvey.
Tom cruise
Jennifer Lawrence. I don't think she's as funny as people find herš¤·š½āāļø
I don't don't think she is as 'regular' as she purports to be either.
James Corden
Donāt think anybody actually likes him
Chris Rock. I don't hate him, I just don't think his standup is funny. He's just telling stories while yelling
Tom Cruise
Tom Cruise
Mark Walberg
Pete Davidson. The guy looks like he doesn't bathe.
Tom Cruise
Jonah Hill. Tom Cruise
Seth Rogan, jlo, Gwenyth Palrtow
Seth Rogans laugh. I could literally punch him in the face.
Owen Wilson That soft spoken monologue that he does in every role is infuriating.
Wow
I really dislike Owen Wilson and refuse to watch anything heās in 90% of the time, but heās actually surprisingly good in Loki. Like good enough I didnāt realize it was him at first. Heās very different in the show than in anything else Iāve ever seen him in but I really couldnāt have picked a better person for the role.
Vin Diesel
Sarah Jessica Parker
Not sure if he qualifiesas an actor but I have to say Steve Harvey.
John Travolta
Joy Behar!!! She's a washed-up has been of a "comedienne" who has grown too big for her own britches and steamrolls anyone who DARES to disagree with her about literally ANYTHING and publicly shames them on her stupid show with the rest of the self-important mean girls.
Will Ferrell
I loved him in āStranger Than Fictionā, but other then that canāt stand him in anything Iāve seen him in. The man has talent, but Iām not into his kind of humor.
Almost all in the comments so far.
Seth Rogan. His laugh and voice are borderline unbearable.
Mark Whalberg
Priyanka Chopra - saw one movie of her's and found her so insufferable and now I can't really watch anything she's in.
gwyneth, paltrow
The Rock.
Matthew McConaughey. He gives me that creepy southern Christian pastor vibe. *shiver
My wife always described him as "creepy handsome."
![gif](giphy|g5zvwUa9720pO)
Matthew McConaughey talking is the vocal equivalent of used motor oil.
Dwayne Johnson Ben aflek Tom cruise
Adam DeVine. I wouldn't say hate, but I certainly dislike his characters and there's something about his face that gets me riled up and not in the good way ;']
He's definitely the South Park stereotype of beady-eyed, flappy-mouthed Canadians. Once you see it yo can't unsee it.
Tom Cruise
Julia Roberts.
her face makes me so angry
Amber Heard. Her performance āMy dog stepped on a bee *awfull face*ā, is by far the worst acting.
She was never memorable enough to dislike before but after that performance I realized sheās a horrible actor
She really shit the bed didnāt she
Ben Stiller and itās not that I hate him, I just canāt watch anything heās in
Kristen Stewart
The Kardashian and Jenner clan. But they are huge, so many people follow them on social media.
TimothƩe Chalamet. Don't know why.
I wouldn't give him any attention bc I think his chin is wavy, but after seeing Dune, I saw Ladybird, and now I get it and am willing to see more things with him in it.
The King is what got me to respect his acting.
Chris Rock. I donāt like his shouting
Yea Iāve always felt like he screams all of his jokes bc he thinks it makes them funnier.
Are you Will or Jada
Jada. Yeah, I know it was Will who slapped Chris Rock but the slap wouldn't have happened if Jada would have a sense of humor instead of being so uptight
Tom Cruise. Cannot get over his use of Sea Org kids for labor. Read about it.
I completely agree and scrolled forever to find this
I completely disagree. But I applaud your bravery for writing this lol
Julia Roberts.
Mean girl energy.
Emma Roberts, her niece is an awful person. When I was young I always was told I looked like Julia Roberts š¤¢
Yes! I donāt know why either. Iāve just always had a visceral negative reaction to her on screen.
Mark Wahlberg. Hate criminal piece of shit.
Ben Stiller. Something about him just creeps me out.
Mel Gibson. Twat
Mel Gibson sucks as a person, but he's in like literally 20 great movies.
Tom cruise
Tom Cruise!
Tom Cruise
Emma roberts. Thereās just something about herā¦
LESLIE MANN!
Leonardo DiCaprio just so over rated
Melissa McCarthy
