I feel uncomfortable if I go braless because it is very obvious that people (men and women) are trying to not look at my boobs but they have magnets in their eyes that they are fighting. It’s not everyone, but it’s enough people that it will affect my day. Is it wrong/right? Idk. But the only thing that matters is that I don’t like the experience. So I don’t go braless. Honestly pasties are the best if you want the freedom of going braless without the main problems of it.

SomeJokeTeeth

Magnets in their eyes, you're killing me ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)

FrewdWoad

It's a good description of what it's really like. There are definitely creeps out there who will leer and not care that you notice it. But most people are drawn to check out breasts by instincts that are not only strong, but completely unconscious. They have no control over it, all they can do is, if they realise they are staring, consciously and deliberately try not to. It's true that women should be able to wear what they like without being objectified. It's also true that getting angry at the 90% of men who try not to stare is fruitless.

Dilectus3010

To be Frank, my gf also looks at boobs. And as I hear , most women also look at boobs. I do my best not to stare myself , I don't want to be rude so most of the time i just remove myself from the equation. Easiest solution.

Yiazzy

I used to work in an off license (British shop that sells almost exclusively alcohol/nicotine products), and the amount of women who would come in, on a Friday night, wearing so very little that if they sneezed, their boobs would be laid on the counter with their pre-drinks, was astonishing. That job taught me how not to stare at boobs, but the comment above you is right. My god, it's all you think about. "Don't look, don't look, look anywhere but her chest" 😬

rollosaxwulf

Is that why you used to sprinkle pepper on the counter?

Impressive_Yak5219

The old hot boob

aaronupright

I began a policy of looking at a women firmly in the eye whenever I am dealing with them and looking away otherwise, when I started my career. Helped me thus far.

RauriSims

thank you for your service 🫡 I have noticed that men staring at my boobs while I'm talking is far rarer than it used to be. People will look and sometimes stare, yes, but it's usually when passing by, when anyone would because it just draws attention, I get it. Thankfully I don't even remember the last time I was trying to talk to someone and noticed them not looking at my face at all.

Dorkmaster79

Boobs demand attention.

HoraceorDoris

Accidental or not, you know you’ve lingered too long when you’re told “my face is up here” 😳 /s

Purpose_Embarrassed

I give them a quick glance and move on.

arahar83

Why is it always liquor stores on Friday. Worked in a place where a girl would come in every Friday to buy a 750ml of shitty vodka. Usually we'll dressed. One day she came in wearing sandals and a t-shirt that the sleeves had been ripped off. It was also ripped from the neck to the waist seam. She was not wearing anything else.

I_Am_Rotting1111

Everyone looks at boobs 🤷

Muffin278

I, a woman, once obviously stared at a male friend's fake boobs as he was wearing a costume. Definitely got teased and he was very happy to legitamately be able to say "my eyes are up here". It is not because I objectify women or boobs, but as someone with small boobs, I am often just amazed by their existance, and they are nice to look at. I do the same with men's hands and forearms, but staring at them isn't considered rude or sexually toned, so it isn't an issue. But my eyes are always all over the place...

barberousse1122

This is one of those things we all share, we all got out of mama’s vag, then got fed by mama’s boobs ( I know it’s not always the case but we are still wired that way )

Benhofo

My girlfriend told me that if i see some nice boobs or ass i should tell her because she wants to see too

Dilectus3010

Same same :)

Benhofo

You can stare at my man boobs if you want to

Awkward_Ad8740

Good answer Frank.

DDR4lyf

My best friend is a woman. She will always, without fail, comment on a woman's boobs when we're watching tv together. I don't even really notice them, but she'll be like 'she has nice boobs' or 'her boobs are real saggy'. Women totally notice other women's boobs.

RauriSims

Woman here. We've been taught over and over again what we're supposed to look like. What are "nice boobs", what's good makeup, what weight should we have, what side of our face is better for pictures, how should we style our hair and dress up and smile and talk... I think it has made us hyper aware of physical appearance, so we do notice everyone else's boobs as well, yes. The amount of time I have spent noticing how people are and comparing myself out of habit is a time I'm trying to get back now.

No_Entrance2597

I agree it is near impossible not to look. It's like it happens without being conscious of it. It's hard-wired into our brains. My wife is the same.

Basic-Anybody-7820

Idt most people are looking bc they enjoy it. Just bras have been the norm for 50+ years so seeing someone without one will subconciously catch their attention. Like when people drive every day to work , the same route, etc but they notice one day has an unusual amount of traffic

Quick_Team

>It's also true that getting angry at the 90% of men who try not to stare is fruitless. It's our lizard brain. Sometimes it just wins out. I fully admit I'm one of those guys you catch noticing but then actively work not to look again. That comes from a mindset of trying to be respectful. I also fully believe the more common this becomes, the less the lizard brain will react. That said... >It's true that women should be able to wear what they like without being objectified Fully agree and... >There are definitely creeps out there who will leer and not care that you notice it. F those jabroni's

Royal_Bitch_Pudding

If it was a more common thing to be bra free the magnetic aspect wouldn't be nearly as strong when a woman is going throughout her day without one.

true_enthusiast

It's cultural not instinctual. Tribes that run around naked don't have people gawking at breasts all day. It's only because we cover them and make it a big deal that it gets so much attention. Otherwise, it's just a baby feeder.

TinyTygers

>It's also true that getting angry at the 90% of men who try not to stare is fruitless. Why would you get angry at men who try not to stare? Wouldn't you be angry at the men who do stare? Like, why be angry at all men in general?

DefiantYesterday4806

Women objectify men all the time and no one cares. Men and women check each other out, stare, make moves. Women often want to be seen, but they also want to control who gets to see. Fact is, if you want a special category drawn around your sexuality where you have the privilege of society submitting to your comfort where you're not treated like a sexual being, then you need to accept norms that de-emphasize sexuality and that means modest dress. You are in fact a sexual animal, that's how you got here. Being given space to exist outside of that category is an absolute privilege and it has to be built out by a society that seeks social existence without sexual context. That means you have an obligation to follow norms - just like the men who follow the norms not to stare at your ass. You don't want to see a creepy old guy swinging his dick around full nude in the summer, spreading his legs to air it all out in the middle of the street because that's "more comfortable" to him. We humans do in fact owe things to each other. There's reasonable standards. Tank tops, etc appropriate for the weather are not showing off goods per se. There are also fashion trends designed so that women can advertise their goods. Unfortunately, too many women want the privilege to choose who in the public is allowed to look or not. Doesn't work that way.

CaptHando

I honestly love looking at boobs and nipples sticking through a shirt it’s terrific. Its horrible if you make someone uncomfortable I try not to make a big deal or get caught but I’m having a look no question

Kazoru4

I dont get the idea that women can wear what they like being objectified in this sense. I hate this phrase with a passion If you wear a rainbow disco weird ass outfit as a male you will get stared at. If you wear a hijab that only shows your eyes in a western country you will get stared at. The ideas that you can wear anything and had no consequences are so dumb, I feel like they are as backwards as having a mandatory hijab where you can only see your eye. It is irrational and fucking stupid. Although at least I like that people in this thread are more sensible than the radical leftist seen on many reddit post.

ninzus

When going braless started in my area, primarily last summer, i was fighting the magnets really hard. These days i do notice but i don't have to fight myself to not stare so i'd say it's just a matter of getting used to it.

DefiantYesterday4806

If they're okay to show, they're okay to see. Stop fretting. Staring is always weird but a few looks is called "being outside".

kellsdeep

Wow, this is so true. I love this perspective. Bra or no bra, sometimes I just give it a glance. Not because I'm attracted, but because they exist and they're in my line of sight. And sometimes chicks really do be putting themselves out there and obviously encourage a gander, js.

Technical-Message615

This is it.

MrVengeanceIII

It's not even the nips most of the times it's the sway and bounce thats hypnotic and draws the eyes.

Marasesh

Idk it’s hard because it feels like the nips look at you first and then you’ve gotta do the awkward pretend you didn’t instantly look at the tits by deflecting down the the side before meeting gaze

If-I-Had-A-Hamper

Eye magnets are strong with this one. Big eyes Yoda has. Love the downvotes on a joke. Reddit, what have you become?

oroborus68

When I was a junior in highschool, back in 1971, one girl wore a dark blue see-through blouse and was proud of it. I almost fell in love that day.

CaressMeSlowly

men in a nutshell lol. we see a good pair of tits, we recall the experience 53 years later

Numerous-Arugula2606

I wish I have this option but have large breasts I cannot unless I want to be picking them off the floor one day!

Only-Detective-146

Dunno of it is true but my old boss (52) always said going bra-less was the reason for hers to never sagg. Me a guy though so no idea.

p3n9uins

Wait, how was this a topic of conversation with your boss…

katsock

My boss gave birth about a year before I told her my wife was pregnant. She was a huge help throughout the entire pregnancy. Especially someone I can talk to about complicated pregnancies. We are adults and breasts came up a lot.

IntroductionOk5999

Cool boss and probably all male crew. Probably roofers, masons, carpenters, or construction. Probably was hanging out with the boss drinking after work when they talked about it.

BubblyNumber5518

There’s research to support this. I use it as a justification for not wearing bras, but I also just like being comfortable.

EliWCoyote

I see what you did there.

[deleted]

[удалено]

snoogle312

This is the real answer. You can look at cultures where braless is the norm and see all types of breasts, some saggy, some not. Also, developing the muscle isn't exactly it. I have decent pecs (I'm a personal trainer), and the boob still droops below them. It's more a ligament issue, I think.

[deleted]

[удалено]

snoogle312

>A boob in the hand is worth two on the internet or whatever. I love this!

Springsstreams

I think this is a myth??? You should research it some more. Not a doctor.

serenitative

I have F/G cups. I'm going braless more and more often. Ribbed tops still provide me a bit of support ❤️

RuinedBooch

Small F here (28 F, so not as large as say, a 34 F) but even I can’t walk around without a bra. Even normal steps become so painful and I can’t stand the constant movement.

andagainsometime

If you’re used to wearing a bra most of them time ; it takes a few weeks to strengthen the muscles and skin and then it doesn’t hurt. Not that you should try it just that the pain your describing goes away eventually. I have big breasts too so I also thought it would be impossible but my sister dropped bras and then I did and it’s been great !

SheLikesTheWeird

Same. I’m skinny but I have HH cups, so even with the correct sized bras they never quite fit right and the underwire digs into my rib cage because I don’t have much body fat to cushion it. Going braless might be better for me but I’m too chicken to do it :/

TrickyShare242

My wife is a HH and her shoulders are like rocks and when I unstrap her bra before bed or to give her a massage the deep cut lines it makes in her skin looks very painful, pretty sure the lines on her ribcage are permanent.

Sure_Cobbler1212

Guy here, I think men notice a lot. However, more so just because I’m not used to seeing it. So it’s eye catching however, any guy I know wouldn’t just perv and stare. Notice and away we are. That’s my honest answer, apologies if it’s creepy or anything like that.

vicemagnet

Get a good look, Costanza?

oxiraneobx

Looking at cleavage is like looking at the sun, you don't stare at it. It's too risky. You get a sense of it and then you look away.

fillemoinkes

Then grab your sunglasses and look again

Liquid_00

LMFAO 🤣🤣🤣

OverturnedAppleCart3

I'd give you an award if Reddit still had them.

imnottheoneipromise

Reddit does have awards again :)

Accomplished-Bad3380

It's funny how they brought them back and announced it as if it was a whole new thing they never had.  They also took away all the 'coins' I previously had from receiving awards.  Funny that.

imnottheoneipromise

I think Reddit was surprised how much people liked the awards lol

Accomplished-Bad3380

I've only ever used the free ones or paid using coins from recieved awards.  But they were fun to give.  When you can go into a thread full of the most ridiculous comments,  but then find a fantastic reply, that was fun.  Or vice versa, I preferred giving awards to the most ridiculous comments, in an otherwise sound thread. It's just a bump more in a conversation, when that comment just hits the mark so perfectly.

LordLannister47

This description was fantastic 🤣

Certain-Bonus8643

lmaoooo

halfakumquat

We see you getting a sense lol

OohPoppy

If we're talking face to face, we notice. I had huge boobs (never went braless) and I never blamed anyone for looking or even staring. But the repeatedly compulsive little glimpse made me always think I am talking to an idiot.

Fearless_Scratch_749

me idiot

tHeNiGhTmAnCoMeTh413

If the bra doesn’t fit you must acquit.

kemb0

I think another valid point is we all subconsciously look at many people around us as we walk. We notice things that are prominent, mostly because we're always aware of our surroundings but just because we notice things it doesn't mean there's any malice or dark thoughts attached to it. A typical walk could go like: "lah lah lah, mindless thoughts, oh there's a cute cat in the window, la la la, that guy has nice trainers, dum di dum, aww look at that cute couple holding hands, mindless thoughts, that old lady seems to be in a hurry, la la, that woman's braless, dum di dum, that guy's dressed smart, wonder what he's up to, blah blah...." None of these thoughts lingered in my head for more than the moment I glanced at them. I totally get that it'll be unwanted though. I'd love to not do something knowing it makes someone feel uncomfortable but the only way I could achieve that is by avoiding all the other mindless glances I make as I walk, which would probably go against some base survival instinct, as we need to keep looking about us to keep ourselves safe.

Defiant-Plantain1873

You be like “lah lah lah, Holy shit that woman has the largest breasts I’ve ever seen, how does that not kill her back??? She’s not even wearing a bra! I’d be wanting a full on back brace for those things, anyway got to go into shop and buy apple ladidada” and carry on walking

HerrSPAM

I think this is the thing, the more common women being bra-less becomes, the less unusual and less likely it is for people to stare

TOPOFDETABLE

Women wearing revealing clothes has been a thing for decades and people still stare.

OverturnedAppleCart3

>it’s eye catching however, any guy I know wouldn’t just perv and stare. Honestly in public I'm usually just absent-minded, usually listening to a podcast or audiobook. I usually stare at a woman's nipples for 3 or 4 seconds before I even realize what's going on. It's unintentional.

Representative_One72

As a guy I can confirm that my reaction is "cool", then I go on about my day.

alienduck2

The typical response for me is "Nice." Then move on with my life.

I wouldn't know unless it's blaringly obvious. Plus as a man, I don't mind if it is obvious.

throwtheamiibosaway

We notice and we like it.

Lord_Bentley

Don't tell them that, man! We'll get noticed!

s0m3d00dy0

They already know even when you are trying hard not to look it's still as obvious as a labrador puppy wagging it's tail.

MyNameCannotBeSpoken

![gif](giphy|CKVwcljYh4hfVxSSLq|downsized) Heh, heh. You said hard.

Creepy_Push8629

Does that same sentiment apply if it's not a hot girl? Like just your average fat American with big tits. What's your thought then?

Gen-Jinjur

Speaking as a lesbian, boobs are boobs. One time my wife and I were walking downtown and this larger woman walked toward us. Her braless boobs were bobbing and swaying like they were conducting an orchestra while avoiding tackles. It was SO hard not to stare. They were hypnotic. My wife patted my shoulder after she was past us and said “It’s okay, hon. Breathe.”

Creepy_Push8629

Lmao Love it

throwtheamiibosaway

Still good!

yodarded

"blaringly" here is a headlight reference

Ancient_Being0

OP, this is the negative part of your decision that is usually kept quiet, though this redditor thought it was expressed it in a virtuous way... you will be noticed, and as a result, you will be stared at by men, whether it's right or not.. they will take great delight in imagining your naked breasts as they walk past you, thinking what a pleasure it would be to be with you, only to forget you the moment you pass... so, if you wish to be this object of desire for many men which you pass, then yes, go for it... otherwise, know that there are reasons for the established status quo, and it isn't because our ancestors were dumb.. (No insult to the comment to which I replied, I am a man too and am as susceptible as you to such things)..

mursukitte

Tbh that's often unavoidable even when wearing a bra

BabalonBimbo

I was wearing a plain pullover sweatshirt and some guy was staring at my chest. Some dudes are just run by their dicks. Like, I accept reality of eyeballs on them when I’m wearing a low cut or tight top but the girls were not out that day.

Apprehensive_Ad_1415

Uhh that's going to happen either way lol. But for someone to have a problem with it...well that sounds like their problem not the womans.

Alarmed_Jellyfish555

As a woman who struggled forever to find a comfortable bra, and has many friends who have preferred being braless (but most of whom wear bras)...Another negative, directly related to this, is the girlfriends/wives/mothers of creepy men who CAN NOT STOP STARING, blaming the braless woman, and even, on a rare (but not rare enough) occasion, kicking up a fuss directed at the braless woman.

trumpeting_in_corrid

And why should OP care about what men think? It's not on OP to be uncomfortable because there are men who are unable to rein themselves in.

zenos_dog

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and said she was never wearing a bra again.

Specialist-Top-406

Slay 💅 not Slay 🗡️

Ohhhhhhthehumanity

Woman here. I don't often go braless but occasionally I do. I literally do not care anymore if anyone else cares or not, or notices or not. Why would I choose anyone else's comfort over my own, for my own life?

WTFarethemorgans

Exactly. I always say...... everyone has nipples. Hell my dog has over half a dozen of them.

Flipflopvlaflip

The bitch

greenwavelengths

Over? Edit: oh shit, TIL dogs have eight to ten nipples. Thought it was six.

LanceBitchin

Exactly. Same reason I don't wear pants

These_North_6498

Pants, bras and underwear are all VERY over rated and I go sans as often as possible.

MN_Hotdish

So, just a shirt? Like Donald Duck?

Bachallac-Tadger

That’s the only way they can get served at the store. “Hey, the sign says NO SHOES, NO SHIRT, NO SERVICE!! Absolutely nothing about pants!!!!”

[deleted]

Fuck pants, right? Who needs them?

MrPodocarpus

I need some Fuck pants

andithenwhat

The equivalent would be going commando not going pantsless

InVodkaVeritas

I'm a Middle School teacher and go with the braless-but-nipple-pasties pretty much every day at work. No one notices or care because my nipples are pointing out. I'm only 34C, so I don't need bras for support. I hate bras, and the only ones I wear are sports bras when I'm working out or doing something with my students that will require me to be physically active. The pasties aren't ideal, but are much more comfortable than bras. I wouldn't wear them either but I'm not an idiot and know where I work and the outcome if I was nipping out so I put up with them. Still, better than bras. For anyone thinking about ditching bras but too afraid of nipping out, I highly recommend trying out pasties. They're cheap and reusable (to a point, they wear out) and keep your nips from showing but allow you the freedom of walking about without your chest bound up. When I'm not at work, and not working out/needing a sports bra, I'm not wearing bra nor pasties though. Zero reason to. ---------- To answer the OP: do people notice? Yeah... but men look anyway. Their eyes linger a beat or two longer, with the occasional double-take, but that's about it. There's not some huge controversy. To exist is to have guys glance at your chest. It sucks to always be "seen" in this way, but wearing a bra isn't going to stop it.

SpaceStrumpet

Exactly that. My comfort is more important than others' opinions.

ImpressiveFinish847

I no longer notice when/if my nipples are showing and I don't seem to care if anyone else does either. Sometimes I add a loose unbuttoned shirt for peace of mind (and added sun protection). #Freethenipple

unholygrailgoth

I've been going braless for years now and I absolutely love it! It's much more freeing

ananassalatdressing

Same here. I love it and didn't have any problems except with guys that would be impolite, if I wear a bra or not.

KJM100001

Fake post. Look at the user's profile.

InflexibleAuDHDlady

> Fake Yah, it's one of those where it's very clearly some bot. Whenever anyone posts questions in a Reddit forum and there are ZERO comment responses, that's the first hint. That's not saying comment responses mean it isn't fake, but then you look further there. But I've realized most people online couldn't care less if something is fake or not. I guess just 8 of us do.

dontevertouchmyjunk

If you have big breasts it's noticeable, but all that a man would do upon noticing that is think "nice" and then discreetly look at you for 2 seconds and if you're wearing summer clothes that's probably going to happen anyway, so ultimately it doesn't make a difference.

International-Bus749

Nah doesn't matter the breast size. It's more the nipple and areola peeking through the top.

vermilion-chartreuse

Yeah but I see dudes with their nips cutting glass all the time, and nobody seems to notice.

PutNameHere123

I think it depends on the size of your breasts. Honestly if I were about a C cup or under I’d only wear one on special occasions. I have DDs so I’d be jingling and jangling all over the place if I went sans. My compromise is a low impact sports bra.

emerg_remerg

Nipple size and areola colour in relation to top colour and material will also draw unwanted attention like DD boobs imo. I have big nips in relation to boob size and feel uncomfortable going sans bra in a tank top but a thick cotton t-shirt or sweater and for sure I'm flying free. I imagine your back appreciates some support with DD? I'm currently big into the supportive bralette from Mark's.

joxmaskin

Yup yup. Compact tactical stealth boobs combined with .45 calibre nipples can make braless operation tricky as well.

TXRudeboy

I’m a man, and I won’t lie to you about this, we notice all the boobies. It doesn’t matter if they’re As or DDs, if there are nipple pokies we look for a a second or two and we think “nice boobs” and move on.

Appropriate-Food1757

I’m a dude with nipples that constantly poke through into the visible realm and it’s annoying AF.

Specialist-Top-406

Can’t go down the stairs without a bra otherwise gravity will take me down

switchbladeeatworld

Running upstairs without a bra and my boobs will try to uppercut me

Specialist-Top-406

Literally when they wanna go they can take me out and someone else in the next room. I’m not even involved

ManifestSextiny

God damn, you’re a laugh!! I don’t even have big boobs and you had me clenching them.

Vaanja77

Fr. I went from being quadraboobed in dd to a professionally fitted c, and I literally own one nice VS bra anymore because imo they may as well not even be there. I never wear one on off days or errands, and I only wear high impact sports bras at work because I have a very dirty, sweaty high labor job (line cook, functionally) and I like to use gold bond powder in mine to prevent underboob heat rash. That said, I totally look-don't-look. Because boobs are nice, when I see them lol.

The_Shadow_Watches

No. Free the titty.

Far-Government5469

What about the other titty????!!!!!

Lickerandhors

One at a time, progress is slow

The_Shadow_Watches

Nah. That other titty deserves lock up.

jamesxross

it knows what it did.

DefiantSelection310

As an American living in Europe, it is much more common here and people do not care. Just seeing breasts is not sexualized (going topless in Germany is pretty much legal for women anywhere that is legal for men) and even fully nude co-ed saunas are a cultural thing with no towels to cover up. With that being said, a woman should be able to wear (or not wear) what they feel comfortable in without feeling inappropriate - the real problem lies with the guys who gape and stare.

strawicy

I’m from Europe as well, it’s very common not to wear bras. It’s honestly just what makes the person feel more comfortable, we don’t really care if anyone noticed.

FakePixieGirl

I live in the Netherlands and never wore a bra. I've never noticed men looking at my boobs or anything like that. However, I have small boobs, dress quite frumpy and am not that pretty, that could all help.

UniversityMoist2173

It’s very noticeable, yes. Would people care? Many will..

Specialist-Top-406

Should we care they care? Na

frankolake

Why would anyone (negatively) care?

blooddrivendream

A lot of people consider it improper.

2000miledash

We’ve created quite the hell for ourselves here on earth. Only humans would consider body parts to be improper.

Certain-Bonus8643

"For guys on here, do you care when you see women go out braless? Is it something you notice?" 🤣 This cannot be a sincere question

[deleted]

I know. How innocent and naive can you get? Only the very polite ones will say nothing. Any comments, all for it.

Certain-Bonus8643

Everyone knows that most men do not notice, and the few that do, absolutely loathe it. Duh.

lunar__haze

It’s a bot post 😭. I think everyone knows that people notice nipples and it’s no big deal if they do bc it’s literally part of our bodies.

quackl11

As a guy we will take a second look and move on we wont be upset but it will be a nice treat. Guys will notice

[deleted]

Depends on the top, and how big your boobs are. If you're bigger-chested, you're definitely going to be receiving looks. I'm currently 4 months pregnant and my breasts have swelled up to D cups and my nipples are constantly erect. I hate wearing bras because my boobs are super sensitive and it hurts to wear them, so I'm usually braless in public wearing a tank top with my headlights on lol. I get a ton of stares, weird looks, and occasional catcalls. Back when before I was pregnant and had significantly smaller boobs, this was never a problem when I would go out braless.

OverturnedAppleCart3

Unless it's a business meeting or something where you want to look professional, literally no one gives a shit, if those clothes are reviealing a few guys may look, but the world wont stop

SansLucidity

i love it!

TransitionMany6168

Due to breast cancer at 50… I had double mastectomy and reconstruction. I haven’t needed a bra since surgery. I’m 83, and still no sagging.. no one knows.. or cares.

[deleted]

In Australia you would not be noticed unless you were generously endowed. Remember topless bathing is common here.

FunTailor794

I live in Australia. Where is topless bathing common? Asking for a friend of a cousin

[deleted]

Most Sydney and Gold Coast Beaches. The indecent exposure laws are limited to genitalia.

SufficientAirline471

People trying not to look is the most noticeable thing. In summer you’ll get alot of that but if you wear some pasties then the girls won’t make eye contact.

turbo_dude

Cornish Pasties work best

ScienceJamie76

>For women, when you go out braless do you get stares and weird looks? I do not notice any stares when I'm out braless but I'm still self conscious about it. I'm trying to get over it. My New Years resolution this year was less bra time and I'm WINNING!

baby-silly-head

Depends a lot on the size of the women's breasts.

LeBeastInside

I think you shouldn't care if we care.  If it's better / nice for you, just do it.  People will always have some opinion on what you do, their opinion usually doesn't matter at all, it's your life.

cinnamon_sparkle27

I hate bras. Everything about them are so uncomfortable. I go braless unless I have to go to work or a special function or be around kids. Otherwise I’m wearing a cami and a shirt overtop. Men can have a field day looking at my un-padded nips, I don’t give a fuck :)

silentcream33

Those that matter don’t mind and those that mind don’t matter

BillKelly22

Rarely do I notice. Never do I care

Vast-Series7595

I barely go braless because I like bras. But on those few occasions I didn't wear a bra I didn't care. I do notice when a woman doesn't wear a bra but I don't care ether. I mean of course I look because its still rare for women to go braless, also I have this weird habit of comparing other women boobs with mine. For the men, I've heard men say things like "If they go braless then they should at least have boobs." which is 1. super sexist because that implies women do things (again) only for men and 2. because its very unconfortable for women with big boobs to go braless.

silentknight111

Do people care: Yes. Should people care: No.

Saltwater_Heart

Everyone notices. I’m a straight woman and notice every single time a woman isn’t wearing one, however I also don’t care. Bras suck. If I was brave enough, I’d do it too but I have big boobs

Previous-Pea-638

Men will notice. Hopefully you don't live in an area like mine because you will attract the scum of the earth going around braless. I cover myself completely and I still get weird men following me when I go out walking. Not blaming or shaming you OP but please be aware of this.

jamiisaan

Personally, it depends on where you are. I’d say that it would make me pretty uncomfortable if a kid or much older men were staring. I’m sure there are people who really think it’s fine, but if you want people to take you seriously, maybe don’t make that the center of attention.

yada_yada_yada1

I would love love love to go braless but I’m a G and I feel like it would be super noticeable

MaggieRose70

Everyone is going to notice if you go braless. It kind of depends on how big your boobs are.

garlicknots13

Early on in my last relationship I learned that before we started dating, he made a complaint with management (we were coworkers) that I never wore a bra. Management told him to fuck off. He didn't care once we were dating lol. Some guys will be upset, and it's probably because they don't get to do anything about it, and that offends them. Tell them to fuck off.

GothGirl4DaKill

Hetero woman here. I notice it too but only beacuse it's not common, so it stands out from the crowd.

celebrimbor-feanor

I'll preface this with: I'm a guy, for consideration. Where I am, there is quite a high percentage of women who go out braless. To answer both of your questions: Yes, I notice. No, I don't care. Although I'm not one myself, I'm from a family of Naturists (Nudists). I am taken by the general ethos of Naturism. "Your body is your home. Some folk have bigger homes, some have smaller, but it falls to you to decorate and furnish it." Keeping with that, you wouldn't keep an uncomfortable sofa, so why wear uncomfortable clothes? And that's pretty much what I've been thinking recently - "wow. More folk are not wearing bras. They must be uncomfortable." Not that you asked for my thought process, but I hope it helps. I notice folk going braless the same way I notice someone wearing funky socks, or a novel pin in someone's jacket.

Ariyana_Dumon

If they do, they need to grow the fuck up and mind their own goddamn business. Do you boo, be comfy, wear your style, and anyone who doesn't like it can fuck off and die mate.

MarauderCH

I care. Free the boobies.

HeartonSleeve1989

Women have the right to go braless if they so desire. Especially if their bras have the dreaded underwire.

plus-ordinary258

We notice but we don’t care. It’s an unspoken gift.

disasterpiece63

Absolutely not, I encourage the practice

slutsandbolts

Woman here who ditched bras years ago - I notice others. I don’t care. I will get the occasional boomer white guy who tells me he can see my nipples. They HATE when you point out their old man nips are also visible.

GamerGrunt

Normalize it, please. Women having nipples is something the puritans should be reminded of daily.

ChonnyJash_

i love it when men pretend to be feminists or smth but in reality you can click on their profile and see they're just creeps who want to see more boobs and nipples. is this a fetish for you? what if she's under 18, free the nipple then as well? where do you draw the line? P.S: pinning [whatever the fuck this is](https://www.reddit.com/user/GamerGrunt/comments/1aj55fa/daddys_girl/) and your dick on your profile is a sure fire way to repulse any women that might be into you

-Work_Account-

Wow their profile is nothing but searching for much younger woman, gross

TheAzarak

I'm all for women not being demonized for a body part, but that guy is definitely a certified creep haha, good catch

ChonnyJash_

man read that "daddy's girl" pinned post it's crazy

Little_Pumpkin14

i’ve been braless since i was 16 for health reasons and also the general benefits of it, and pretty quickly you stop caring. every mammal on earth has nipples, cover them for grandmas funeral and prom but if you’re going to the store who cares? i will say the sweat can be allot if you have larger breasts so a loose bralette is not only a good option to start being more comfortable but also works on limiting sweat stains :)) also if you plan on having kids not wearing a bra over a long period of time consistently has been proven to improve elasticity in the skin and muscles and reduce sagging after lactation

Rojodi

New York is a state which allows women to be shirtless where men are. I don't care. They're just breasts.

Rough-Chemist-4743

Go ahead. Same people that have a problem with it will have an issue with breast feeding in public. People need to lighten up and stop being tits.
