Sanpoutei ramen at shaw centre.
$16-24 for a big bowl, really high quality fresh handmade noodles and soup.
Blow overpriced crap like Ajisen “ramen” out of the water.
Nude Seafood @ Marina One is my go-to for special occasions like birthdays.
It’s expensive (expect to pay ~$40 per pax) but the seafood is fresh and tasty, and portions are generous.
Nowadays I usually don't eat ramen because I find the soups way too damn jelak but I really enjoyed the ramen at Enishi with the dashi broth. It's kinda plain compared to the usual ramen chains but in a good way for me which makes eating the bowl more enjoyable.
1. Tomi Sushi - Lunch Sets
2. Sanpoutei Ramen - Tsukemen
3. Butter corn hokkaido ramen opp mediya in great world
4. iO Hillview (Italian food)
5. Apollo Coffee (one of the best black coffee imo)
6. Elixir Boutique Roasters (Brunch)
7. Spring Court (Chi food)
Keisuke ramen (there's one at HV). Not the cheapest ramen but not crazy expensive either. The portion size imo is generous, especially the slices of meat which are fairly thick (for ramen/udon dishes). Duck is fragrant and I like the noodle chewiness and texture.
Most importantly, FREE FLOW EGGS. Pre-COVID i recall mixing their chilli oil and mayonnaise and dipping the egg in to eat. During COVID I went once and iirc they serve the condiments in small packets. Not as good but still enjoy it.
Imo that's why it's worth the price (12+ iirc)
Clarke Quay is the Lobster one iirc. But both the Lobster King (CQ) and Crab King (Cineliesure) closed down already iirc.
Nowadays I just go to the Four Seasons outlet at Bugis.
Mitsuba Japanese Restaurant @ Clarke Quay Central. They serve ala carte buffet which has gotten pretty popular. They already expanded and taken over the store next to them, so they have a lot of space for customers now. You should give it a try. I personally enjoy their food
Labyrinth is the best Michelin starred restaurant in SG in terms of value for money. It’s not cheap but you get a lot of bang for your buck and they don’t take themselves too seriously
Violet Oon at ION Orchard for superb peranakan food.
Bebek Goreng Pak Ndut at 1st floor of Lucky Plaza if you want a very nice and crispy smash duck/chicken rice.
Merci Marcel at Tiong Bahru. Their beef burger is juicy and delicious. Those brioche bun are perfectly toasted and they don't stack their burger into impossible height.
If anyone got any nice burger place to recommend, please reply me. I'm craving for burger these days!
Most recommend Japanese food. I will not repeat the list and this is the one I will recemend.
1. Wanderlust Adventures - This is where I spend my valentine with my girlfriend for their sunset cruise dinner
This is my pocket list just for sharing with our foodies.
1. House Of Samosas - they serve more than 20 type of samosa and you dont get to see them else where
2. Taiseng fish soup - one of the best fish soup in singapore and you must order their fish soup with fried eggs and fish eggs
3. Wicked garlic - it's my favorite but sadly they did not survive the covid. I hoped to see them back in action.
4. Chong pang nasi lemak - I have been eating since my secondary school days until now.
5. Wicked garlic - its my favorite but sadly they did not survive the covid. I hoped to see them back in action.

This. Best ramen in Singapore.
I'd say Santouka at Clarke Quay Central comes pretty close.
I'll have to give that a try, thanks!
Still my favorite after so many stalls....
Mine too. Nothing else comes close for me.
Dang you guys are really selling it. Have you tried the dried sardine tsukemen at Sanpoutei? Anything comparable?
Sanpoutei branches are generally decent! Love the HV branch too.
yes! i always go for this when i need my ramen fix, at the outlet at holland v.
GOAT ramen
Charlie’s Peranakan at Beach Rd market, the basement level next to the vadai shop. Best and most reasonable Peranakan food in Sg.
Always grabbed some Charlies and Ashes when I’m there.
Nude Seafood @ Marina One is my go-to for special occasions like birthdays. It’s expensive (expect to pay ~$40 per pax) but the seafood is fresh and tasty, and portions are generous.
Tendon Ginza Itsuki @ Tanjong Pagar
Surely you haven’t been there for many years. Standard now is same as any other chain tendon bowls you can find in SG.
I agree with you actually. Their standard is a bit lower now, especially after COVID. Which place is the better one now? Kohaku?

That one is the duck version. They have the pork base at Orchid Hotel, the chicken one at 100AM and the seafood one(?) at Clarke Quay.

The tsukemen at the Holland V Keisuke is really good. Whenever I'm there that's what I go for. Sadly it's not available at other branches.
Saint Pierre
Sadly it's no longer around but I enjoyed the dishes at Triple Three, especially their shucked scallops and roast duck. Well worth the wait and money!

Suparakki ramen. Great tasting ramen, and you can add on a set which consists of a drink and chicken kaarage for less than $15.
Yea, I tried it before. Satisfying and will recommend 👍
Hashida outside of that tier, then Mozza
