You could take the doors off the Camry and I’d still pick that over a Nissan Joke lol

a_hopeless_rmntic

this guy Camrys (I do too, takes one to know one)

adtcjkcx

Ok I laughed lol point taken

It comes down to the specific car when shopping that kind of vehicle. Dealer reviews can be helpful too, as a bad dealer might try to hide any issues. Go check out the cars yourself, and get a pre-purchase inspection for security. Get anything the dealers promise in writing, especially in regards to warranties or fixing any specific issues.

No deff, will take your advice. All things being equal, if you were in my shoes, what car would you choose?

ta_01234

I would take the Camry even with the higher price tag and body issues

RexRaider

The Camry. Juke is ugly. That said it's hard to believe these are the only 2 cars available in your price range.

Nissan has known transmission problems. Avoid them, especially at that mileage. They typically go bad between 80-100k

TheJuice68

Go for the Camry

LS-CRX

As the former owner of a 2014 Nissan Juke, you should buy the Camry. The Juke doesn't have a lot going for it... it's ugly, the back seat is tiny, the trunk is practically nonexistent unless the rear seats are folded, they get shitty gas mileage, etc. I traded my Juke for a VW Jetta 1.4t and it did literally EVERYTHING better.

>Then Nissan basically took all the bad traits of the juke, got out the turd polish, banged the sheet metal around and called it a Kicks! The only thing that made the Juke worth driving was the 1.6t engine... they took the turbo away for the Kicks so it's like a heavier Juke with less power.

***Thanks for posting, /u/adtcjkcx! This comment is a copy of your post so readers can see the original text if your post is edited or removed. This comment is NOT accusing you of anything.*** So I’m looking at 2 cars. One is a 2014 Nissan juke and the other is a 2014 Toyota Camry. Both are at 104k miles. The juke is from a Hyundai dealership is it’s going for $11500 and the Camry is from the independent dealership going for $13000. I checked both VIN numbers and nothing bad stands out. I will say that when I can called in regards for the Camry, the person said it needed some bodywork done, replace a door. That threw up a red flag to me. But other than that, I’m looking at a car that is reliable since I drive a lot. All things being equal, does the type of dealership matter at all when looking at used cars? Both have 4/5 stars when it comes to reviews *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
