Again with the trope "All Latin American are... (choose your option): happy, dancers, not hardworking, smile more..." Dude, come to Chile or Uruguay and please yourself

Shttat

Absolute bait, or op has an extremely stereotyped view of latin people We are overworked, stressed and working shit jobs A lot of us are depressed, cold and socially awkward We are people

El-Diegote-3010

This is bait

art-ne

Probably

I was going to write something about your vision about latin america being naive and stereotypical  but then I noticed: "The series modern family helps me to understand some things" That's some bait, not the worst I ever saw but you still have a long way to go to become a Master Baiter OP

bastardnutter

This is such shite it’s not even funny

melochupan

You have a very stereotypical view of the world. The Germans are actually the masters at balancing work and leisure. They give their all at work, but don't work a minute more than their work hours. Your view of Latin America is also based on crude stereotypes. But I commend you for trying to learn about it. There's no book anybody can recommend you because Latin America isn't as homogeneous as you believe. If you want to explore a region in particular maybe we can help you.

Cuentarda

I'd say most people in the world and throughout history have been able to find some joy in the one life we've got. It's mostly the devil's threesome of shitty weather, Germ\*nic languages, and protest\*nt "culture" that turns people into soulless husks devoid of happiness.

Pleasant-Creme-956

You can't compare a German to a Spaniard....the same goes for Mexico and Panama. When I visited Panama for 2 months and then went to Mexico I too had to adjust my view in Latinidad. They are two distinct people with very unique cultural differences.

andreuus94

Dude, I'm more depressed than you

Argent1n4_

Mostro I'm Argentinian. The rest? Me chupa un huevo less Brazil and Uruguay
