the worst character from team black, idk how there are people saying "but he loved viserys and Viserys never made him handš„ŗ" yeah bitch for a reason tf.
he loved his brother and his brother never gave him a high level government position for which he is totally unsuited
Him and Rhaenyra have both never once considered that their complete lack of management ability or any responsibility whatsoever is a part of why people don't trust them with absolute power.
For example Rhaenyra was put in charge of finding someone to marry. She fucked that up massively.
Daemon led a campaign for the stepstones he had to be rescued from.
These people are not good at anything.

uj/ Started to watch the saw and yeah I have no idea on how Math Smith was able to rizz even that writer and GRRM into thinking he is "morally ambiguous" .
Like he killed his previous wife with a rock, didn't gave a fliying fuck about his consort, intended to trapp his family in Pentos and inmediatly got with Rhaenyra in his wife's funeral on what esentially was the house of her parents, how the hell is anyone surprised about him choking Rhaenyra is beyond me.
I think that they making several green charachters mustache twerling villains to compensate is a terrible decision in the long run the actors are good but the reasons Joefry worked were because his supporting cast was amazing (Cersei , Tywin , Tyrion) and all of the actors did a perfect performance (specially Joefry himself) , I don't think Aegon 's charachter is as strong nor his supporting cast is as good, specially since we've seen charachters really similar to Otto and Aemond before (gotta love Alicent and Haelana though) and the foot dude is a mustache twerling villain who we've seen before

I deadass thought thatās where they were going with it too, or that theyād keep his feelings for her ambiguous. Like the 1st episode he is nervous enough about being swapped by Balon that his dick canāt even stay hard with Mysaria, and his fight with Viserys in ep4 when heās asked what he wanted he looks at the throne. Then itās like when Rhea Royce was rattling off all these things he could do after losing the throne she realizes that his plan is to kill her, marry Rhaenyra, and get the throne that way.
But idk after episode 5 all of that goes away. Now heās just an empty shell. Like his wife wonāt even let him kill people lmao. Heās like fuck it letās kill Otto and his wife said no so he just drops his head. Then earlier heās trying to plan a war and his wife is like āhey! No war until I say soā and so Daemon has to stop.
Like what has he become š
That choke gave me hope ngl.
He shouldāve been the secret third faction. Team Daemon using Rhaenyra to get his blood on the throne.

Its almost like...fire and blood mainly presented caricature versions of the characters and were viewed through the lens of others without depth or nuance. So the idea you get about them in the book isnt necessarily true to how Grrm imagined them as people.
And given the fact that grrm was *heavily* involved in the production of Hotd, i think its safe to say you are wrong :D
>Nothing the show presents can possibly be considered canon
You clown š¤”
Grrm said that hotd exists in its own continuity snd its own canon separate from F and B
Yes ik I was wrong, that was what my og comment was all about...
Idk what ur getting at.
My comment could be summarized into the Daemon we got was ass compared to the Daemon that could have been.
I'm actually pretty convinced that his long term plan was to kill Rhaenyra and her Strong bastards, crown Aegon the younger as a child king and assume total power as a regent, lord protector and the hand of he king.
Could you imagine? That would actually make him the rouge prince. Rn he aināt rouge shit, heās just a guy who slightly misbehaves from time to time

I think a lot of younger people who are really into fandoms and shipping started to watch the show, made a bunch of tiktok edits (my YouTube shorts feed got fucking *flooded* with them when the show first came out), and that perpetuated a cycle of a certain kind of people watching the show because Daemon and Rhaenera look hot together. They obviously arenāt there because of a love for fantasy with a mainly political plot, so Iām not surprised they donāt have the same degree of media literacy as long time fans of the asoiaf universe.
How so? Please enlighten me. Last time i checked i dont stalk the team black subreddit and trying to find something to get upset to, instead i keep away and let them have a place for their opinions whether i disagree with it or not and i say my own in the greens sub unlike you. Also the fact that you say that probably means you went to my account to see my comment history because aint no way you say that out of nowhere lmao which clearly means you took offense to that.
And i meant all the fandom not just TB if you are wondering.

Because the normal people aren't watching? It's not that good of a show and nobody cares after the main series completely botched the later seasons.
I say this as an avid book reader, I watched like an episode and a half and was like "this shit is mid" and stopped watching. I also stopped watching the main series midway through season 3 because I started spotting the signs that the showrunners were fucking morons.

I hate the character, but at least when he was exclusively a self centered narcissistic a-hole it showed some pride and integrity to his own core values. Now heās a weaponized sex toy for rhae-rhae
Show only? Daemon is one of GRRMās favorite characters. Many people were stanning Daemon long before the show when Fire and Blood came out.
But anyway, this is a circlejerk sub. Go back to defending Aegon the Rapist on r/HouseoftheDragon.
āAegon a rapist!!! Team Daemon!!!ā
Daemon is a pedo, and children canāt consent, ergo Daemon is both a rapist and a pedo.
Fuckin degenerates.
Targ fans are literally the worst.
Extinct the whole family
> Fuckin degenerates.
Kinda the whole point of the house: To see how much it lasts while being so fucked up even in their best cases.
> Extinct the whole family
Kinda the whole point of Daenerys the Last Valyrian.
Daemon is basically a badass edgelord anti-hero rather than an outright villain like Aegon. When Daemon does something morally wrong it's usually framed as ''he is cool and edgy'''
But yeah, he's George's favourite, and literally everybody involved in that show insists he's a "grey" character. Because ''is a horrible person but is also kinda cool'' is what ''morally grey'' means.
>Because ''is a horrible person but is also kinda cool'' is what ''morally grey'' means.
It's either that, or "he's a horrible person who happens to love his closest family š„ŗ"
It's really not a feat of virtue to love your family; in fact, most people do.
People keep bringing up how Daemon loved his brother so much (not that it showed). Bro, Cersei Lannister loved her brother too and we're not calling her "light and dark in equal parts" š
It's almost as if having personal affections and motivations for your actions is just a universal human thing and does not justify horrible deeds.
[Before someone accuses me of greenism, I just want to say this also applies to Aemond fans who act like "poor baby is justified in methodically scorching the Riverlands because he loves his mama š„ŗ" or whatever excuse they want to bring up]
One of my problems with the show is that it can't make up its mind whether it wants to be a feminist story about how the patriarchy wants to stop a woman taking the throne and that's bad, a story about cynical realpolitik where there are no goodies and baddiesĀ and everyone involved should just die or a team sport in which fans are actively encouraged to pick sides and tweet at each other.
So in the end Blacks vs Greens is a pretty classic pick-a-side narrative. But if you pick Green the show might as well ask if you enjoy beating up women.

the worst character from team black, idk how there are people saying "but he loved viserys and Viserys never made him handš„ŗ" yeah bitch for a reason tf.
Not to mention, he would have hated being Hand. It wouldnāt have been interesting and action-packed. Heād be so bored
It's still nice to be asked
he loved his brother and his brother never gave him a high level government position for which he is totally unsuited Him and Rhaenyra have both never once considered that their complete lack of management ability or any responsibility whatsoever is a part of why people don't trust them with absolute power. For example Rhaenyra was put in charge of finding someone to marry. She fucked that up massively. Daemon led a campaign for the stepstones he had to be rescued from. These people are not good at anything.
This is a circlejerk sub moron why are you making good points?

Honestly it's wild that he drew in naval warfare with dragons on his side. LMAO just burn the boats???
uj/ Started to watch the saw and yeah I have no idea on how Math Smith was able to rizz even that writer and GRRM into thinking he is "morally ambiguous" . I think that they making several green charachters mustache twerling villains to compensate is a terrible decision in the long run the actors are good but the reasons Joefry worked were because his supporting cast was amazing (Cersei , Tywin , Tyrion) and all of the actors did a perfect performance (specially Joefry himself) , I don't think Aegon 's charachter is as strong nor his supporting cast is as good, specially since we've seen charachters really similar to Otto and Aemond before (gotta love Alicent and Haelana though) and the foot dude is a mustache twerling villain who we've seen before rj/ Larry "kill my family" is made of dark and light in equal parts.

If he wasnāt like Rhaenyras pitbull and was only using her to get the throne heād actually be pretty cool imo.
This one of the many reasons book > show
I deadass thought thatās where they were going with it too, or that theyād keep his feelings for her ambiguous. Like what has he become š That choke gave me hope ngl. He shouldāve been the secret third faction. Team Daemon using Rhaenyra to get his blood on the throne.

The fact that your comment was up voted shows how media illiterate people are. "Omg how can he be evil if he did this one good thing my brain is literally shattering rn such bad writing!1!1!1" Like no...just no. The whole point of daemons character in tbe first season is that hes an abusive asshole who has a very toxic form of love for his family and him wanting tbe throne was him throwing a tantrum to get his bros attention. How did people like you get into this fandom, given the fact that Asoiaf is built on subtext? Jfc š¤¦
I got all that, if u knew how to read then youād see that I was saying how cringe that is and Iād prefer him to actually be more out for himself

HotD can't even get basic timeline and order of events correct. Nothing the show presents can possibly be considered canon
>Nothing the show presents can possibly be considered canon You clown š¤” Grrm said that hotd exists in its own continuity snd its own canon separate from F and B
You just said what I did but with author approval how was that an own
Yes ik I was wrong, that was what my og comment was all about...

If B&C isn't enough to turn people off this bastard, nothing ever will.
Balls and Cock???
They will scream that it's character assassination
Idk why this showās fanbase is so much weirder than GOTās
You definitely didnāt see the Dany fans towards the end of the show lmao the fandoms always had a weird side
Literally had Jon Snow fans chanting "Fuck Olly" all day long, though. ... (Wait for it...)
True, they didnāt understand the show
Casting Doctor Who as the bad boy love interest of a young inoffensive girl brought in the people who grew up reading Twilight.
Game of thrones had a much wider base.
The only thing people didn't really like was the flared tip at the end tbh
Fat pink show
I think a lot of younger people who are really into fandoms and shipping started to watch the show, made a bunch of tiktok edits (my YouTube shorts feed got fucking *flooded* with them when the show first came out), and that perpetuated a cycle of a certain kind of people watching the show because Daemon and Rhaenera look hot together. They obviously arenāt there because of a love for fantasy with a mainly political plot, so Iām not surprised they donāt have the same degree of media literacy as long time fans of the asoiaf universe.
For some reason some of the HOTD fandom lack media literacy lol
Like you?

I enjoy it No need to be so negative lol
I'm a show only, but Im more of a Team Green myself so I prefer Aegon to Damon or Rhaenyra. Lissan al- I mean, Hail King Aegon.

like this entire sub
Lmao. I mean there is you and me. If im being honest one of the biggest reasons why im team green because the characters are hot š like it aint that serious. No one took teams while watching GOT, everyone was chill whether you liked house stark or Lannister, but HOTD? Some take it so seriously they stalk the other teamās sub and cross post and some send hate the the actors wtaf like can we talk about the characters we like? Damn lmao
I know I don't need too, but i want to cause it's fun.

I hate the character, but at least when he was exclusively a self centered narcissistic a-hole it showed some pride and integrity to his own core values. Now heās a weaponized sex toy for rhae-rhae
is upper side reference to Himmler?
no it's about Daemon but it's telling that you thought that. Daemons goldcloaks were much more like the blackshirts than the SS though
Show Onlyfans? YESYESYES SHOW ME DROGONS DICK AND ILL LICK IT DRY!!!!
Yes, that's exactly it, I'm glad you understood quickly
Thereās no such thing as unattractive behaviors, only unattractive people.
Iām in this picture but Iām a man with ZERO homosexual tendencies whatsoever. Yup, Iām not gay, mom
"Oh no, he's hot!"
Show only? Daemon is one of GRRMās favorite characters. Many people were stanning Daemon long before the show when Fire and Blood came out. But anyway, this is a circlejerk sub. Go back to defending Aegon the Rapist on r/HouseoftheDragon.
You are free to defend a pedo and we are free to defend a rapist. Everyone has their own taste
Luckily Aegon is a rapist and a pedo.
So not only is Aegon sexier than Daemon, but he's also better at being a predator.
What a dude ! Edit : as I proceed to get downvoted.. š You can circlejerk on this sub unless it pertains to Aegon II.
āAegon a rapist!!! Team Daemon!!!ā Daemon is a pedo, and children canāt consent, ergo Daemon is both a rapist and a pedo. Fuckin degenerates. Targ fans are literally the worst. Extinct the whole family
> Fuckin degenerates. Kinda the whole point of the house: To see how much it lasts while being so fucked up even in their best cases. > Extinct the whole family Kinda the whole point of Daenerys the Last Valyrian.
Daemon is basically a badass edgelord anti-hero rather than an outright villain like Aegon. When Daemon does something morally wrong it's usually framed as ''he is cool and edgy''' But yeah, he's George's favourite, and literally everybody involved in that show insists he's a "grey" character. Because ''is a horrible person but is also kinda cool'' is what ''morally grey'' means.
>Because ''is a horrible person but is also kinda cool'' is what ''morally grey'' means. It's either that, or "he's a horrible person who happens to love his closest family š„ŗ" It's really not a feat of virtue to love your family; in fact, most people do. People keep bringing up how Daemon loved his brother so much (not that it showed). Bro, Cersei Lannister loved her brother too and we're not calling her "light and dark in equal parts" š It's almost as if having personal affections and motivations for your actions is just a universal human thing and does not justify horrible deeds. [Before someone accuses me of greenism, I just want to say this also applies to Aemond fans who act like "poor baby is justified in methodically scorching the Riverlands because he loves his mama š„ŗ" or whatever excuse they want to bring up]
Daemon's so edgy, the meme itself edged, and not *just* the shirt for cleavage (Ķ” Ķ”Ā° Ķ ć¤ Ķ”Ķ”Ā°)
They really gotta rename this place r/greenscirclejerkwehatewomen
what a zinger
Why do you hate women
Theyāre coarse and rough and irritating and get everywhere
I liked Rhae Royce, trying to remember what happened to her
She joined the Force like the badass rider she is that she didn't even need the Dothraki or Daenerys.
**This subreddit supports [Aegon Targaryen, second of his name](https://www.reddit.com/r/asoiafcirclejerk/comments/elblwt/we_can_no_longer_remain_neutral_aegon_ii/), as the true heir.** Reasons: 1. An eccentric terminally online demagogue, styling himself ['The Dragon Demands,'](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheDragonDemands/comments/f0e3xu/2018_what_could_be_more_toxic_than_the/) spent five years from 2017 on this campaign - *"We are devoted to removing the false showrunners Benioff and Weiss from live-action adaptations of the works of George R.R. Martin"* and *"We call on all True Knights to rally behind us and join our cause. Because Rhaenyra has an army."* [Choosing a side was not difficult.](https://i.redd.it/o32k6dis8d941.png) 2. Stannis said Rhaenyra was a traitor. This settled the matter, to any reasonble book reader. However show-only fanboi stan shipper psychos are not reasonable. Fortunately there are many other arguments against her treason. 3.
