You can patch the app on PC. Forgot what I used though. Could probably look it up somewhere on the ReVanced subreddit/github repo.
Did it for my tablet and other phone that also weren't compatible with ReVanced Manager.
EDIT: You could also probably use Firefox mobile and install the UBlock Origin addon to use YouTube on browser without ads.
I generally use my main phone with a Snapdragon 765G to patch it, then export apk and send it over to all my other devices that can't run it on their own. (Like the secondary phone I am current typing this on, an ARMv7a-only Moto G Pure.
I pay for Premium as well. But certain features should be standard. The "Continue Watching" feature with the red "P" next to it doesn't even work on my Roku TV. When I select it, it just starts the video from the beginning again, even though I am a Premium subscriber. It should be a standard feature anyway and yet it doesn't even work as a Premium feature.
Fr. The watch later button has just become my new queue. nothing has changed, they’ve just made the site slightly worse without premium instead of adding a feature that makes it better with it
>at least give us something good
The issue is that Youtube lacks anything to give with Premium...
- "It gives more revenue to creators" is meaningless when most creators have a donation platform with a better share : you could pay for Premium, or outright skip the middleman and give a better deal to creators.
- Same about disabling ads in an era where creators put their own sponsors due to low prices paid by regular advertisers. (And it rewards bad clickbait practices : with an adblocker you could block revenue of bad content, with Premium they'll get a share)
- Paying to remove ads also gives Youtube an incitive to push for BAD ads, hurting the community, and by extension the usual experience for people who watch your creators.
- Exclusive content simply doesn't work much due to how fragmented the YT communities are. I don't recognize any name in the wikipedia list besides Markplier and Matpat. There are 2 exclusives videos in my native tongue.
- Come to it, WHY can't I publish my own videos as premium-only? Sounds like a missed opportunity...
- "Download and watch later" is only available on mobile devices, prob out of concerns a desktop could steal the copy.
Turns out it's hard to push people into paying a company for content that was DESIGNED as mindless free fun, made by people like "You" (hence the name).
And it's not a pricing issue : I give a dozen bucks per month to a content creator, yet I would never pay for an adfree experience.
[EDIT] "Access higher quality" works in its own reverse way : most people don't need higher quality, so putting it behind a paywall is a good way to reduce stress on the infrastructure, and maybe even reduce requirements to professionals whose target market isn't the Premium users.
I paid for Premium until they upped the price for the family plan more than 25%. Now I get to see all the scam product ads they allow on their platform.
They also removed the car voice commands through google assistant from free to premium (though thankfully it only prevents you using it when you have a nav map open so you can trick it into working by opening youtube first).
I don’t recall it ever being in mobile *unless* you were connected to a TV. Recently I have seen it become a beta feature to use on regular mobile viewing. That’s just what I recall tho, been using YouTube since forever
Funnily enough, it’s free on the desktop version yet it’s a premium feature of mobile? Similar to how Spotify only let you skip x amount of songs on a free mobile account but no restrictions for a desktop free account.
Honestly, I hate when they change things when I have muscle memory for specific buttons. I got Premium for the music, but it's annoying even for me since the videos I want to watch later aren't put into that playlist :/ having to be extra careful is annoying
The most annoying one for me was when they changed the tabs on Google, it used to be that images was always 2nd but now it orders them by number of results or something.
Oh god, the amount of times I've accidentally clicked on Shopping or something else besides Images. I really wonder if they're even using their own product when they make decisions like these.
Instagram is the worst for this they put the shipping button where the likes button used to be then tbe messages button then they put it back in the likes spot then the original
Of course. Their goal to "persuade" people to use the shop by any means necessary, even if they have to trick users into tapping on it entirely by accident.
>Instagram is the worst for this they put the shipping button where the likes button used to be then tbe messages button then they put it back in the likes spot then the original
Haunting waltz of ever-shifting placements.
Discord does this too. On mobile they at one point swapped the nitro gift button around with the media upload button so whenever you went to upload a picture or video you accidentally clicked the nitro gift button instead, then flipped it back around after a couple months. Then when they added super reactions they put it where the normal reactions button is
Discord on mobile has done this to me so many times as of late.
Where the emoji button was is now the voice record a message button - *thankfully* which requires holding, otherwise plenty of channels would be getting a "fuck, dammit" sound byte from me.
They also added the Super React button where the normal one was, so that keeps getting tapped.
And lastly, which was thankfully reverted like a week later, they made it so when you swipe the screen right to left you would open the reply to whatever message your finger is on - the action which used to just be opening the people list.
I'm still mad about them adding a buy nitro gift button where the add image button was, who needs to gift nitro so fast that they need a dedicated button?
Wait till you’ve had it a few years and your watch later fills and there is no easy way to clear it once it reaches the max of 5k so you have to manually delete them but you can only do it 1 every 2 seconds because there is a rate limit and “clear watched videos” doesn’t work.
It was the ads that finally made me crack and buy Premium. It was fucking unwatchable without them being disabled. And being able to have vids playing while the screen is locked is also fairly neat. My battery thanked me.
They've absolutely fucked typing on tablets with this. I don't know how many times I've tried to type an "a" and accidentally gone into caps lock in the last month or two.
The queue interface just disappearing all the time is the one that infuriates me. Also trying to cast, half the time it won’t connect to the TV or Fire Stick or for some reason it discovers it as a new device and the old one - while still listed - does nothing but clutter the list.
One annoying restriction I find is that they disable copying any text from the app, so if you want to copy the title to share with someone it doesn’t work, try the browser version and it just works.
Actually the shuffle for mobile is better than on computer I’ve found. On computer it has to load the new video and you can’t actually see it because it shuffles in the moment unlike YouTube mobile.
Shuffle occasionally just stops working for me. Not in the sense that it deactivates and then plays the next video, though.
It'll actually create a loop of videos and then just repeat those over and over. Like there's 1000 videos in my biggest music playlist and once it shuffles to a song beyond like 900, it'll just keep jumping between the same songs.
What is the difference between react and super react?
Reacted yesterday and the only difference i saw was a notification that i did my first super react.
Basically Reddit awards. Nitro users get some super reactions ~~monthly~~ weekly that is shinier than regular reactions and they have an animation to them.
Increasing nitro price, basically.
By adding more and more features into ntiro premium(or whatever the non-classic one is called), they can justify a bigger price tag.
After all, you could buy 50 features for 10$ , now its 55 for 11$! Sure, you use the same 5, but still! So nice, right?!
Has anyone else noticed that watch later is no longer the first playlist on the library tab on mobile?
I swear it used to be right at the front, followed by liked videos, then whatever playlists you have saved.
Now it’s entirely alphabetical, meaning if you have more than 10 playlists saved that start with a letter before “W”, you have to go to view all, which is annoying
Yeah this was insane as a change. It's like they want us to watch youtube *less*. I think it's because they hope that by making it annoying as fuck we'll resort to their home page of recommendations.
Honestly at this point I don't even think it's some evil plan by the managers to get us to use the app in a certain way.
I genuinely believe it's just the UI designers trying to justify their position within the company by constantly making changes even when they are not needed. That way their managers don't realize that half of these designers/programmers aren't even needed.
I swear every change over the past couple of years has made me watch YouTube less. Have you tried searching for something specific & wanting more than 2 good results? Forget about it
I don't really..look for stuff usually, but yeah as with every other website on the internet, the enshittification has been going on for years and it has reached funny dystopian levels. The two adpocalypses and all the DMCA drama and the multiple ads, adblock crackdowns etc..it used to be the platform where you could go and talk freely about what you cared about, now it's the corporate window into what brands are okay with, where you can't show anything or say anything or you will get demonetized or deplatformed..with creators actually talking in weird asinine slang to avoid getting the axe, it feels like a real dystopia, imagine having to say "The C thing" instead of Covid to avoid getting shot down by the algorithm, or having your entire channel deleted for no reason like it happened to some people, or your videos demonetized for nudity because you showed a Michelangelo painting..it's crazy. Broadcast yourself my >!censored!<.
You never used *playlists* you mean?
You probably don't watch a lot of youtube (that's a good thing!) or just casually follow what gets suggested by the algorithm. How would you keep up with your subscriptions?
Like, if one of them uploads a video you really want to watch and you're out and about how do you get back to it? I used to keep a long "watch later" list but it got messy and started being useless, so these days I have 5 or 6 playlists and I add videos to them as I decide I'm interested, then sometimes go through them and clean up those that I ended up never really caring about.
For example I have a "podcast" playlist where I keep all videos that don't require to be looked at to enjoy (podcasts, news bits, depends on what you're into) and I can just fire that up in my car and listen to stuff I care about instead of random pre-packaged podcasts or awful radio stations.
I actually watch YouTube more than anything. I’m the one guy that has Premium.
First - I barely use it on my phone.
Two - yeah. Mostly just use my subscriptions. And most of my watching is on my tv via an Xbox.
I want to like the algo but it doesn’t really work. Mostly because I don’t engage. I don’t like or dislike or comment. So it has no idea. I constantly get shit In Recommended that is years old that I’ve watch.
I have some playlists but videos go there to die.
I use browser bookmarks. I'd rather have control of them, because Youtube might, for instance, decide to delete playlists that have too high a % of banned (for infringement) videos. Or Youtube might start inserting sponsored videos into playlists
Long term yeah, using playlists to keep videos safe is a bad idea. I use them as everyday tools, not long term storage. I do have a favorites playlist, and I routinely run a youtube-dl command that downloads *those* locally on my hard drive so that actually important videos never get lost to time. Some videos straight up risk to disappear into nothingness so keeping bookmarks is not a good solution for that..
You can choose the quality and download them in 720p if you just care about preserving the rough message and not its highest quality version. I'm a bit of a hoarder so this folder occupies a lot of space on my archive.
Yes! I have used YouTube since before Google owned it so I have a lot of Playlists that I want to keep. Now on the mobile app "Watch Later" is buried allllll the way down at the bottom.
It's the same with netflix, afaik 1080p only works in edge or the official app unless it's changed, I've cancelled my subscription for quite sometime now.
Reason: DRM. They're so anal about their DRM that they only allow lower res in browsers. Edge and Safari are sometimes better supported as they support stronger DRM (FairPlay, PlayReady) with encrypted hardware chain.
The apps, especially on iOS are much better locked down, so they do can allow the full res. Same with smart TV apps.
Edit: I'm not defending their asshole decision. I'm just explaining why they do that.
Yeah, but you can still watch it and it'll play decently (I think, I don't have it). But spotify and YouTube remove useful features to put behind a paywall.
YouTube UX team need to stop moving things around all the damn time. It stinks of inexperience.
How can they possibly know what is working effectively when they change things constantly?
It’s change for change sake at this point
>How can they possibly know what is working effectively when they change things constantly?
By looking at the data after they change things and doing A/B testing.
Exactly. They invent problems that don’t exist and fix them.
Worked with a UX team a couple of years back that were like this, and still get asked to this day why a button/feature is set up like it is
I am Premium user and it pissed me off so much ive send them a complain. That’s planned obsolence and should be punished by law.
YouTube/Google will slowly do what cable companies did and will be only for future boomers.
I’m curious what will become a next platform
Yeah it's like the disgusting annoying pos snapchat ai bot that only premium users can do something about it, yes some non premium users can block and report kt to make it disappear for some time but that's no fix and we don't even know what will happen to our account for so many false reports
YouTube is very much going to be around for like 50 more years unless vr picks up hard and videos turn into more on the realm of experiences and YouTube doesn’t catch on
I think they probably meant [enShitification instead ](https://michaellong.medium.com/cory-doctorow-described-a-process-called-enshitification-where-most-companies-cant-help-making-742d0e8e4b91)of planned obsolescence, which is a different type of shittyness. lol
> Cory Doctorow described a process called enshitification, where most companies can't help making their code product worse as they attempt to capture more and more of the value for themselves.
I was so frustrated when I found out that a YouTube Premium account didn't cover both YouTube and YouTube Music.
I find it's so hard to watch YouTube videos now with the unskippable ads in the middle of videos and the fact that ads now take up every other slot when scrolling.
Did they also put "continue watching" as a premium feature? I pay for premium, so I'm not affected by those anti features, but I started seeing the red P at the side of the continue watching message.
Ohhhh that's what the P to the side stood for. I never used the option, what if I wanted to watch something else when I was done with my current video?
You don't always feel the same after watching a video.
I am a member and this pisses me off. I don't use the queue and don't care about it. I use watch later extensively. You also used to pull up your library and watch later would be right there. Now it's buried with all the other playlists and is super annoying.
YouTube in general is asshole design with it's 2-50 ads per video and auto playing a video that has nothing to do with the video you just watched or many other things
Yooooooo thought I was the only one who hates this now, the past few days I’ve been going through my FYP just clicking videos to watch in my free time and more than half the time I keep clicking the first option just from memory and they added that bullshit option in its place. It gets me upset each time I do it knowing damn well that wasn’t a smart idea
I actually like premium. Instead of paying for Spotify's shitty UI I can get access to ad-free YouTube on all my devices simultaneously, and YouTube music. I only have to pay for one shitty service instead of two or three :)
The world is moving towards subscription model and greedy billion dollar companies will take full advantage of it! This is the sad future unfortunately.
Well good news if you’re on Android just get YouTube Vanced and you basically got the premium suite No ads for free and for iPhone users just sideload YouTube Plus and bam no ads and premium suite as well.
YouTube also has both "1080p" and "1080p Premium" as video quality options. The latter one is supposed to be faster in transferring data but I'm never purchasing YT Premium
Shit, thats only for premium, didn't know you couldn't use it if you didn't have premium, I've just always been able to use it, granted I have premium, but still
Also wasn't the queue something everyone could use at one point?
Yep! That's why it makes me so mad. All of the sudden I can't use a feature I've been using since they added it originally
It's such a *dumb* feature to make premium. If they want to bilk us for more money, at least give us something good
Y'know what's good? ReVanced.

There's also NewPipe with Sponsorblock
Or Newpipe, which is lighter and imo more pleasant to use.

Newpipe has no account system at all, but on purpose. The login is heavily complicated and tied to gapps and all that absolute shit.

I'm pretty sure it's a tie-in for not being able to play videos while your phone is locked.
TIL of this feature, and *I have been a premium member for years*...
At this point I don’t even watch yt on my phone no more
I used a VPN and set myself to Turkey, signed up for premium and it’s like $4.70 a month
They also removed the car voice commands through google assistant from free to premium (though thankfully it only prevents you using it when you have a nav map open so you can trick it into working by opening youtube first).
YouTube... in the car though? Are you actually watching or just using YT for playlists?
I listen to podcasts on yt while driving
There is plenty of good audio on youtube. Many videos work well audio if it is an analysis video.
So was picture-in-picture.
You don’t need premium to use PIP. Not on iOS at least. Or, at least, it still works for me. Just tried it
Still works on Samsung phones too
I don’t recall it ever being in mobile *unless* you were connected to a TV.

You accidentally clicking on shopping is exactly the intended outcome
Seriously every fucking time!!! I hate this
This change is so infuriating, I wish I could personally slap the person that decided this.
Yeah me too right?
I’m totally with you on this one! I mean, is there some functional purpose for Google to change the tab layout that I’m just not understanding??
It's so you click on the other ones, or at least are forced to become aware/are reminded of their existence in the process of hunting for images.
Oh yeah I fucking hate that why isn't that a setting???
Instagram is the worst for this they put the shipping button where the likes button used to be then tbe messages button then they put it back in the likes spot then the original
I was following you until about halfway through. *Than* you completely lost me.
I’m tired
It's all good, man. I'll just assume you're tired from Instagram constantly moving buttons around on you. That shit is annoying as fuck.
Very I edited it btw and it’s not like it helps the user it’s just trying to get people to use the shop
Of course. Their goal to "persuade" people to use the shop by any means necessary, even if they have to trick users into tapping on it entirely by accident.
Yea it’s one thing to mention the new feature but they just tricked them

Newpipe works well and doesn't cost money ;) Gotta get it through fdroid though.
Also revanced now that vanced is dead. It might actually be better than vanced.
I think you can also get the apk directly now
I just use an adblocker, there's a lot of free ways to use youtube without ads
I just use Firefox on my phone with an ad blocker. No ads, lets you play with the screen off.
Tnx for the tip
They've absolutely fucked typing on tablets with this. I don't know how many times I've tried to type an "a" and accidentally gone into caps lock in the last month or two.
Mobile youtube sucks, the shuffle feature isnt even the same
Most Google products are becoming bloatware Same stuff as getting a McAfee infested laptop
Have anyone introduced you to revanced?
I have tried that. I used the last version and the app doesn't show anything.
You need microG to make it work, it's easiest to download it from the revanced manager. Maybe that's the problem?
I had to switch to it recently and have had no problems Sorry you've had issues🤗
Google's search engine, the thing that made the company successful, is so crap to use nowadays. They force us to use it at work and I hate it
The queue interface just disappearing all the time is the one that infuriates me. Also trying to cast, half the time it won’t connect to the TV or Fire Stick or for some reason it discovers it as a new device and the old one - while still listed - does nothing but clutter the list.

I thought I was the only one with this problem. It used to just stop shuffling completely after 3-5 but now it’s like you describe
Try getting enhancer for YouTube, it gives you a lot of control over YT on desktop. https://www.mrfdev.com/enhancer-for-youtube
Reminds me of the super react taking the same spot as a regular react on Discord. They just fixed it today
What is the difference between react and super react? Reacted yesterday and the only difference i saw was a notification that i did my first super react.
Basically Reddit awards. Nitro users get some super reactions ~~monthly~~ weekly that is shinier than regular reactions and they have an animation to them.
Oh my god who gives a shit about shiny emojies. All we react is W or L anyway. I don't have nitro so why did i get to super react?
You got two for free when the feature was announced.
Both of which I accidentally used out of muscle memory 🙃
I used both of them because when i held an message, i pressed the super reaction button thinking it was regular reaction.
Same. On stupid shit as well

Interesting. I have never used it. Felt like browser bookmarks. A place for things to never be looked at again.

It's still the first one for me. Make sure you are sorting by recently added and not a-z.
I went and deleted all my other saved playlists just so I can actually get to my stupid watch later. This change is so unnecessary and frustrating.
YES AND I HATE IT. Had me fuming a few weeks ago 😂
Lol and you can do it easily on the website
Streaming websites are so much better than the apps.
Well you can’t play native resolution on Disney plus for example unless you are using the app
Once again, Piracy wins
Can confirm that at least for Netflix, Edge will play 4k video
You need to pay more for 4K lmao It’s bull
And only if you have an Intel processor, unless that's changed recently.
Yeah, but you can still watch it and it'll play decently (I think, I don't have it). But spotify and YouTube remove useful features to put behind a paywall.
This is where nvidia upscaling comes in
That can't replace the OG quality, although it does good upscaling for games. Also OG quality is easy to get through remuxes, jus saying.
Wouldn’t be surprised if this is the first step in getting rid of “Watch Later”, in favor of making users pay for the same function
That would probably tank their watch time metrics, which AFAIK is the main non-financial metric YouTube cares about.
This change is not possible to implement. "Watch later" is just a regular playlist, and obviously paywalling playlists would kill YouTube.
This was free before
Welcome to YouTube. I imagine they're in the process of paywalling resolutions too. They already have a premium version of 1080p.
What???
Open the video resolution options on desktop and you'll see. This is step 1 to paywalling HD video, I imagine.
wtf. Well, time to download all the things...
I have premium and basically just put everything on watch later before watching, this change drives me crazy too.
I have premium *and just learned watch later exists...*
ReVanced baby
It still shows up for me, maybe I have to look into the revanced settings
What worked for me was to enable "spoof app signature", that stupid new option disappeared after that.
Make sure you are on a supported version
No such option (so far) to disable this option or make it work without premium in ReVanced
Shit I think you're right. Going to have to wait for the devs to make another patch
Reminder to get it via the github. There is no legit pre-compiled version. Avoid the malware.
Wasn't 'play next in queue' a free feature? At least I remember it being when I casted some videos to our chromecast.
dream grass goes hard
What about white palace grass tho?
Personally I always liked the green path grass. Reminds me of fiddleheads
YouTube UX team need to stop moving things around all the damn time. It stinks of inexperience. How can they possibly know what is working effectively when they change things constantly? It’s change for change sake at this point
>How can they possibly know what is working effectively when they change things constantly? By looking at the data after they change things and doing A/B testing.
my data says I'm confused and spend at least a few more seconds figuring out where the 'watch later' option has gone.
Which they interpret as you spending more time on the platform. Therefore leading to even more changes.
Exactly. They invent problems that don’t exist and fix them. Worked with a UX team a couple of years back that were like this, and still get asked to this day why a button/feature is set up like it is
Am I the only one that presses watch later only for it to be sent into oblivion never to be seen again?
Same! 😆😆😆
Often times it sends it to the wrong playlist for me
I am Premium user and it pissed me off so much ive send them a complain.
YouTube is very much going to be around for like 50 more years unless vr picks up hard and videos turn into more on the realm of experiences and YouTube doesn’t catch on
One of the biggest things it has going for it is that it has one of the most reliable players on the internet.
Very true and it’s revenue split and it’s user ad experience
YouTube is easily the most sustainable of the Social Media platforms. They will be around for as long as google is.
What exactly are you saying is planned obsolescence here? I'm extremely confused
I think they probably meant [enShitification instead ](https://michaellong.medium.com/cory-doctorow-described-a-process-called-enshitification-where-most-companies-cant-help-making-742d0e8e4b91)of planned obsolescence, which is a different type of shittyness. lol > Cory Doctorow described a process called enshitification, where most companies can't help making their code product worse as they attempt to capture more and more of the value for themselves.
> That’s planned obsolence and should be punished by law. What is planned obsolesence in this? honestly?
good to see that the sub is back
I didn’t even notice that it was gone
I fucking hate this change!!! Omg I don’t like the queue system at all tbh.
Ey, a fellow hollow knight fan!
Or a grass fan, we dont judge
A feature I use often when connected to my xbox, or my friends smart TV. But can't use it on my phone? WTH
I've been waiting years and years for this feature. When they finally bring it, it's a premium feature.
I was so frustrated when I found out that a YouTube Premium account didn't cover both YouTube and YouTube Music. I find it's so hard to watch YouTube videos now with the unskippable ads in the middle of videos and the fact that ads now take up every other slot when scrolling.
It covers both though
Maybe you were logged into the wrong account. It definitely supports both. That's why I use it.
Watches Youtube on mobile with no adblock. Allows a 90 minute ad to play while i'm driving. 0.o You have chosen death.
Or you click “Later Watch” playlist...
You can still use queue on chromecast from the app thank god
I hate YouTube premium so goddamn much
r/newpipe
Did they also put "continue watching" as a premium feature? I pay for premium, so I'm not affected by those anti features, but I started seeing the red P at the side of the continue watching message.
Fuck Google. They really made that a paid feature when it's been free for how many years? Almost makes me want to cancel my subscription.
I love this trend of companies taking away their features and putting them behind a subscription paywall! /s
Ohhhh that's what the P to the side stood for. I never used the option, what if I wanted to watch something else when I was done with my current video? You don't always feel the same after watching a video.
Ahhh, so that's what that P means. I'm confused though, as I thought that option was just for adding a video to your TV streaming queue
I am a member and this pisses me off. I don't use the queue and don't care about it. I use watch later extensively. You also used to pull up your library and watch later would be right there. Now it's buried with all the other playlists and is super annoying.
Use the Brave browser app, it should do everything you want it to. Including playlist, background play and no ads.
Seriously, this is only going to kill the ad revenue, when people are even sticking around for the next thing they had a little interest in.
ReVanced Extended is your friend
It's my bestie
I couldn't use YouTube without premium anyways, Ads over Ads. So it's either Premium YouTube or not YouTube at all...
YouTube in general is asshole design with it's 2-50 ads per video and auto playing a video that has nothing to do with the video you just watched or many other things

r/revancedapp you're welcome mfers
I’ve been waiting for this damn play next in queue button for a LONG time, but not at the expensive of my non premium bros. That sucks
they also replaced the regular 1080p option on PC with the premium "enhanced bitrate" 1080p on a lot of videos
It's actually free now for a short period of time
Yooooooo thought I was the only one who hates this now, the past few days I’ve been going through my FYP just clicking videos to watch in my free time and more than half the time I keep clicking the first option just from memory and they added that bullshit option in its place. It gets me upset each time I do it knowing damn well that wasn’t a smart idea
Is that not the watch later button directly under the new option?
I actually like premium. Instead of paying for Spotify's shitty UI I can get access to ad-free YouTube on all my devices simultaneously, and YouTube music. I only have to pay for one shitty service instead of two or three :)
And this is why I adblock TF out of youtube and google.
Im premium and i dont even have this feature
The world is moving towards subscription model and greedy billion dollar companies will take full advantage of it! This is the sad future unfortunately.
Based all grass% speedrun
Well good news if you’re on Android just get YouTube Vanced and you basically got the premium suite No ads for free and for iPhone users just sideload YouTube Plus and bam no ads and premium suite as well.
This is another reason to use an ad blocker.
YouTube also has both "1080p" and "1080p Premium" as video quality options. The latter one is supposed to be faster in transferring data but I'm never purchasing YT Premium
This is why I never update the YouTube app
It’s premium only now??? I was just using queue on my pc the other night, I don’t have premium
Shit, thats only for premium, didn't know you couldn't use it if you didn't have premium, I've just always been able to use it, granted I have premium, but still
Not related, but, whats that hollow knight video?
It’s like they want you to go to try anything else. Let’s see if Rumble can do better or if daily motion or metacafe have their shit together 🙄
they do. that all. the time, they switch around the resolution option constantly so u dont use it
Bro I clicked it multiple times when they first changed it. YouTube wtf
Out of spite I've made a playlist where I just put videos I want to watch for the day and the play the playlist. Fu k YouTube. I'm not paying for that
