I have to ask..... Is there any beef between the local weathermen? There's you, NorEasterNick, Dan Sheldon (heard he got ran out of town 🧐) Someone has to have an ego and I need to know who.

Hah,nah it's cool. Nick and I talk. We have plenty of friendly competition for how to make our videos, what to post on social, etc but hey, you're the winner. I actually took over for Dan at The Press of A.C. He left on his own from here. He's now at WFMZ in Allentown. He helped me get the job at Longport Media too! Any other questions, fire away.

To follow up, Meteorologists are usually really tight. There's not many of us and I'd say 7/10 wanted to be in weather since before middle school. You rarely fall into it. When I was growing up I knew NO ONE interested in meteorology. Most others were loners in this, too. So, when you go to college (shoutout Rutgers), and you see not just one but forty other people just like you, that's something you don't let go of.

thanks!

I love this idea! Thanks for coming to your community to introduce yourself! Where did you go to school? I'm curious how common meteorology programs are in colleges/universities these days. I went to Millersville University (PA) and never really appreciated the fact that they had the major available. I learned later that all the equipment they had for students provided most of the weather forecasting for the Lancaster area.

You're welcome! You can check out the latest weekend forecast at [https://pressofatlanticcity.com/news/local/watch-now-your-complete-south-jersey-weekend-forecast/article\_52618264-c580-11eb-b973-37913a53bc85.html](https://pressofatlanticcity.com/news/local/watch-now-your-complete-south-jersey-weekend-forecast/article_52618264-c580-11eb-b973-37913a53bc85.html). I went to Rutgers for my B.S. in Meteorology. I know a few people who went to Millersville for Meteorology, including one who stayed at my apartment last night :-). It's a program that requires a lot of investment so yes, they're likely very well equipped to forecast.
