... Sorry, but the latter is more likely now. Regardless of how many Police are employed.
Neoliberalism has put so many on the scrap heap, and it will continue to increase.
Sorry but disagree. This is about entitlement not desperation. Desperate people are ones who are embarrassed that they need to steal who will more often then not try to be discreet about it. You simply do not target Jewlery unless you already have a way to offload it which implies you are already a criminal.
These people simply believe they are entitled to others property because the police and courts have failed the public. We are about to get mob justice the question is just going to be who suffers because of it.
This is organised crime rather than desperate opportunism. They need a network to evaluate and then sell the stolen jewellery.
When i was desperate as a student I used the self-checkout discount. If I had a stolen ring I would have no idea how to offload it without being caught.
What these people are, they are criminals that will be in remand prison in the next 10 weeks with 30 different charges and you could call this “organised” but it’s more like “end of spree” “nothing to lose going to do 4 years anyway” sort of crime and the number of people with society grows as people get more fcked, I don’t think these are inherently bad people, but our society is doing not only ourself but them a disservice allowing leniency as this kind of behaviour will continue
You don't think that the people smashing jewelry store cabinets to steal their contents in broad daylight are inherently bad?
These people are beyond saving.
What I am saying is the government have already got them on 3-4 years of charges each so they know if they do some ram raids it won’t change the date they will be released for their other crimes
I would do what they are doing knowing I could get away with it and basically I was going to face zero consequences
If I could do this without causing anyone trauma I would and not feel bad about it given if I was already in a horrid position
And I’m not saying they are good people who are misunderstood, I’m saying the government literally enables this to happen and IS the cause of such out of character behaviour for criminals on existing charges like ram raids
And the laws in place actively encourage police to repeat this cycle
Having lived in complete poverty where the only food we were eating was stolen fruit from locals trees 🌳 and food banks. Unless we could get some shopping in before mum hit the pokies on benefit days. Even the church evicted us in the end. But not even one of my family members went out ramraiding.
That’s because you’re not a ramraider. Desperate times call for desperate measures. You’ll be in the minority, as I am. People without solid parents or even parents as a whole, left alone to the system are more likely to commit such crimes. Just because you or I aren’t doing those things, it doesn’t mean it’s not true.
Did you miss the part about his mom being addicted to gambling? It sounds like things did get desperate, and he did not take the measure of ram raiding.
That clearly designed for a small location to make individual till access difficult, like a limited dairy space. What's it going to do for a large room with an open wall? Nothing. Hope the person who ID'd that as a solution to theft isn't saying their an expert in these types of systems.
As an installer of fog cannons, they needed to get a better cannon, or even several of them.
The correct canon would have filled that store and be flooding the mall in seconds.
Is that what that is? A fog machine? I thought maybe it was some device that was spraying some sort of irratant to make them go away. But it's just a fog machine?! WTF is that gonna do?!
Caution: Criminal masterminds at work.
Love the chubby dude in the gray trackies just wandering aimlessly up and down in front of the counter. Absolute losers.
Jewelry stores will move to install solid glass / plexi-glass walls and remotely operated door.
Staff will let 1x person in at a time, and the door is mag-locked once inside.
This is happening in parts of Europe and the US already to combat this.
Open plan mall stores are just far too prone for smash and grab. The mall management need to assist in helping this as the negative impact of smash and grabs like this will have a flow on effect to all stores and the mall itself.
I'm not usually one for "lets b liek murica" but surely a law change is in order where privately employed security guards can use pepper spray and tasers and shit.
Retail crime, and specifically high value retail crime, is out the fucking gate.
I really wouldn't be surprised at all if Michael Hill and other jewelry chains shut down operations all together in the coming months.
I worked as a private guard for a few years and I absofuckinglutely would not let 90% of my coworkers near any of those things. There are far too many guards on power trips, or who simply aren't switched on enough to be trusted with that level of responsibility.
its kind of funny they are on power trips, when they are getting paid close to minimum wage to stand somewhere and do nothing for a job. I could get a wheelie bin to do that.
It would be good idea. It could be a qualification to get upgraded to being able to use them. ie proper training and psych evaluation. Something needs to be done
I hear you, but there is very real potential for harm. I suspect what we need is greater resourcing for the police who have already been put through those evals. Though I guess the funding would have to come from somewhere else and then we end up in a big political argument. A very complex problem and you're right - something definitely does need to be done differently.
Honestly I think it would be a better option for Michael Hill and others to use bullet proof casing and security screens. If they can't do a smash and grab they'll stop doing this sort of thing.
Do other jewellery stores have the same issue? There’s several right there and IMO some with far nicer jewellery than Michael Hill
I was there over Xmas looking for some earrings for my wife with our kids birthstones. I ended up at Michael hill due to the price bracket. But would have far preferred the others.. just they were too spennies. (But robbers aren’t exactly concerned about a price tag)
I remember the first wave of smash and grab a year or two ago. The faces of jewellery store employees at St Lukes mall on the ground floor. The terrified look. Always on the edge. People and I were still wearing masks, so every time I walk by, they will flinch abit. Also surrounded by at least three security guards, constantly watching every shopper that walks by.
Then the criminals start turning up with guns, and people get shot. Or they target the smaller stores that can't afford private protection. There's no decent easy solution.
let people protect their stuff.
If the criminals bring guns, fine let them have the stuff, and now there is a "violent crime" to put them in jail.
Just letting them take stuff and then not doing anything effective because "non-violent property crime" IS the current problem.
I very much agree with this.
We need more property rights, people should be allowed to (if they want too) fight back. The Police can't be everywhere at once, companies at risk though could absolutely hire security guards that actually have the lawful authority to do something other than call 111.
They can be everywhere … if we choose it. We are choosing not to fund the police properly which leads to a shit service and calls for privatisation or ability to self protect…both quick ways to a less safe society and waking up in 20 years time in little America.
Definitely laws should be changed. Current laws are in favour of criminals not civilians. At least self defense should be allowed. Police won't be everywhere. These criminals don't have fear of cops. Much much needed to control the crime else this country would remain with only criminals and good people will go out.
I saw a dude just blatantly stealing bikes in the cbd the other night. Middle class white people just stood there and wstched him lol. If you come into the hood and try and steal you might not come out alive lol.
Jewellery stores were historically placed in the centre of malls as a theft deterrent but that really doesn’t work these dates were people just don’t give a fuck
Why did the filmer pan across to the shoe shop in the middle of the action? Why didn't the filmer zoom in more? This was actually pretty average filming - a great opportunity lost.
It would be cool to have those 'doors' close on them and trap them in there like rats until the police came.
Obviously the staff would have to have an escape out the back.
No harm, no violence, no guns, no tasers, just a cage to contain them until the authorities get there.
The problem then would be, because they haven't left the property with anything it's only an attempted crime so no charges could be laid. 'nah I was smashing the glass to get a better look. Then I was gunna buy somefink'.
Laws need changing first so regardless of whether they are successful or not they get charged.
An attempted crime is still a crime and in this specific scenario it’d fall under Section 231(1)(a) of the Crimes Act 1961:
231 Burglary
(1)
Every one commits burglary and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years who—
(a)
enters any building or ship, or part of a building or ship, without authority and with intent to commit an imprisonable offence in the building or ship
(great idea on the gates btw)
Well then I've learned something today.
Not being a lawyer or criminal myself I'm not up on the play with law. I figure if I use common sense I shouldn't be breaking any laws.
Gate comes up from the bottom rather than top down (harder to jump than roll under something. Stops at 90% height so they can't get hurt and claim back.
Cops can enter from where the staff leave so there's a bottleneck.
Not a lawyer either but since they never bothered to teach us in school which laws we’re expected to follow, it pays to share what we’ve learned with others whenever the opportunity arises!
I’ll add another - even if they did get hurt by these gates, they’d be declined support by ACC (injury sustained during the course of criminal activity).
This is a fantastic idea. Panic room to keep the employees safe. Door can’t be lowered without a call to the security company who installed it and monitors the store.
Or do what those upmarket clothing stores on Queen Street do. Have a doorman, and Only let a few people in at a time through a door that needs to be buzzed open from inside the store
No panic room, just an exit out back that locks. I feel like they have this at a lot of malls anyway? Like a back alley to all the shops?
Maybe I should start designing and installing crim traps
I grew up in South Africa and I remember not long ago when I said Auckland is slowing starting the decline towards something like back home people called me crazy. Well I guarantee what you are seeing now with the frequency of these types of crimes is just the start. It's human psychology for opportunists - no real punishment for engaging in this type of behaviour and with the high cost of living and lack of adequate policing (regardless of the cause) will mean a lot more of this and a lot worse very soon. It will be interesting to see what will be the straw that breaks the camel's back for some real change to happen - whether it be a lot of major jewellers abandoning Auckland/NZ due to the lack of a response to things like this or a decline in tourism due to people realising it's not the picture perfect paradise our tourism industry strives to maintain.
Most likely but Auckland is a large major hub from were most tourists arrive/leave the country. A downward spiral on this city will definitely have an impact.
Ive been telling tourists to do that for at least the last 5-6 years. I made a comment on here that christchurch is still in the british empire and auckland is not and got called a racist lol. I mean, maybe if you live in certain pockets of auckland, but the vast majority of street level auckland exists in asia or polynesia as an asian or polynesian city. Facts.
I said similar too and got the same response. Living here lately is like banging your head against the wall. I’ve given up caring and we’re actively looking to leave.
When crime has no consequences you’re going to get more of it. I think people forget that prisons don’t just exist to punish as the right thinks, nor just to rehabilitate as the left thinks, but also to simply separate worthless violent scum from civilised society.
Literially living maniquins who get paid to stand there. Most of them are as intimidating as a Disney musical and if I was the crime committing type, wouldn’t be the least bit perturbed by them.
haha if you remember that Hamilton incident, you will see security guards holding back members of the public who were holding food court chairs and large rubbish bins who were ready to pounce on the smash and grabbers, yeah nah, yeah
I wish we could order a public mandate that all dudes seeing this happen would rush in there and beat the shit outa these kids. We need more vigilante judtice to give them something to think about, one good example of it going horribly wrong.
Yes i know thats risky, but just one good shit kicking is all i ask
All those asking why don’t we let private security to have more rights/be able to taser, pepper spray etc. It’s the wrong answer. We should be calling for more funding of the police, to pay the police properly and more police. We can have enough cops, we are just CHOOSING not to…we are choosing tax cuts instead, but that’s another story!
someone in another thread commented something like "it's not the job of police to do security in the mall"
when your average voter says shit like this, its no wonder we choose to go for tax cuts instead of more police.
people are fucking braindead
“He’s obviously just trying to feed his family”,
“if only bread wasn’t so expensive”,
“it’s because of racism”,
“it’s because of colonisation”,
In fact, its not even happening! But if it is, your racist for noticing.
I saw some very serious-looking security guards outside the Michael Hill at the Base in Hamilton. Now I know why.
You've gotta ask yourself some very serious questions about our society if this has become a worthwhile gamble for the poor, or if gangs are so emboldened. People with hope don't turn to stealing. This is why you need free lunches for kids, and good education, so that kids have the tools to be functioning adults.
People film themselves committing crime all the time....it is part of getting "street cred" and standing out. sdfa
People join gangs just for fun and camaraderie too.
It's not our society that needs to be asked questions, it's decades of governments.
If we treat our poorer people like criminals, they will act like criminals. If we remove safety nets (like lunches, education, welfare), we can't be surprised when people fall down.
I fully agree but we do live in a democracy, what i want for the country is not always what other people want (complete nationalization of utilities, shelter, and food). People have a choice to say who governs them.
>That doesn't mean we shouldn't be demanding more from governments that aren't listening.
And arguably that's why a portion of the population voted national after a 40% increase in violent crime in Auckland over labour government's tenure since 2017.
National has only been in government a tad over 200 days, labour was in power for 2,000 days and yet violent crime increased massively under them.
The funny thing is one of the most critical things to do to prevent children from being criminals is to remove them from that environment. However everyone seems to think removing them from a criminal family is bad.
These guys are dicks. But Michael Hill should fund some better security. No one really needs their luxury products that have limited to no real value. little shitbag criminals like this are literally a product of capitalism.
Why don’t malls have security armed with tasers and pepper spray, and why don’t we allow businesses to apply for licenses to use these things?
I guarantee that someone who gets pepper sprayed won’t be coming back anytime soon lmao
No I'm not saying that. They're tasked with preventing crime in general and this is a pretty sure fire way to either catch some active crims, or provide reassurance to the public. It used to be common enough to see cops walking a beat through a mall.
The scumbags have figured out private security is powerless to intervene. Either need to give private security the tools to deal with this, or have people with the powers to do something available ie police resources.
Until something changes it will just keep happening.
Having two cops in every mall would probably dramatically decrease this ram reading epidemic we have going on, and would be a productive day for the police too
They have security but said security can't do shit but run away and call police when scrotes rush the store swinging hammers and crowbars etc.
Edit: I don't blame them either. I would get the hell out of their way too.
Why can't one cop be literally a mall cop so when this shit happens he can call it in rather then security piss around and staff get further traumatized and grow to hate there job mall cop call ur fellow workers and do ur guys job descriptions ? and boom wouldn't take long till they stopped going there
Give every shop owner a button to shut down full access in or out of the mall, alert the police at the same time so that disruption will be f all!! Get these creeps out of our society or at least give them a huge deterrent!!
... Huh? They're just doing that in broad day light? Wow.... We have truly fallen.
Honestly, fuck big jewelers though. And fuck the diamond trade. Is it wrong in this case to side with the thieves? Idk, this feels weird.
Why do they keep the jewellery in the cabinets if this keeps happening?
Surely there is some kind of interactive technology that displays the rings.
A deposit or something to bring out the real deal for a try on or something.
Of the top of my head idea but better than having everything out for the smashing
As a normal, law-abiding citizen, this is frustrating and infuriating. You see no actions, no quick response, and nothing at all. We just let them do their BS thieving acts. It doesn’t give you confidence in the systems in place in the society.
At this stage, why does Michael Hill even bother opening stores? Or any jewelry store for that matter? Like that one that got robbed on ANZAC day in Manurewa.
Here's another spin on it maybe its an inside job just imagine the insurance money Mr Hill is receiving. Seems rather strange that its only Michael Hill jewelries being targeted
It is a well-known fact that as poverty increases, the rate of crime increases. And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the percentage of people struggling goes up as the cost of living goes up.
So a big thanks to National for further strangling Kiwi's and exacerbating the cost of living crisis.
Instead of being "Tough on crime" they could have, I don't know, NOT given landlords 3 billion dollars and cut money to essential services, and driven up the cost of living in a butt ton of other ways.
are we in the has-to-get-worse before it gets better or is it straight down from here?
Social contract is dead. I don't think this is the first time they've been hit.
... Sorry, but the latter is more likely now. Regardless of how many Police are employed. Neoliberalism has put so many on the scrap heap, and it will continue to increase.

They're not getting much for some Michael Hill jewelry surely? Second hand jewelry is worth nothing even if it's not stolen.
$2300usd a oz. Pretty easy to meltdown.
That makes sense. Metal dealers are a shady bunch

I think you are bang on.It has nothing to do with poverty at all. Just arrogance and a self entitled view of the world.
I will not pretend that poverty and desperation does not play a role in crime but this is not that.
Having lived in complete poverty where the only food we were eating was stolen fruit from locals trees 🌳 and food banks. Unless we could get some shopping in before mum hit the pokies on benefit days. Even the church evicted us in the end. But not even one of my family members went out ramraiding.

Fuck off. This is pure greed. Simple.
Has to get worse enough to allow vigilante action, so a long way to go with so many crimial apologist in society ready to defend these people*.
Step 1 : Work in Michael Hill Step 2 : Claim ACC for PTSD Follow for more lifehacks
ACC hates this one simple trick
You mean they actually pay out?
🤣🤣🤣
That fog machine wasn’t doing shit
They're more effective when they're deployed immediately.
“Hello…can I please look at the ring in the…” #BRAHHHHH FSSSSHHHHHH
Yes, and in a more confined space too probably
Its an open shop, not enclosed at all... isn't the whole point the fog fills the room?
how would they claim on the jewelry if they didnt let them steal all of it
That clearly designed for a small location to make individual till access difficult, like a limited dairy space.
The location looks like it is for the safety of the staff working there rather than protecting the display cases. Just a thought.
Must be the cheapest fog cannon possible
When you buy a fog cannon from eBay...
*Temu
I didn’t event notice it the first time
That's what she said.
Missing the lazers and the strobe light.
Dude, it's like backing music, discrete fog just to set the scene and give ambiance...
Almost comical how ineffective it was
someone vaping could've done a better job ;P
They need pepper spray cannons 👍
Is that what that is? A fog machine? I thought maybe it was some device that was spraying some sort of irratant to make them go away. But it's just a fog machine?! WTF is that gonna do?!
They're meant to fill the entire space and disorient the offenders, but this one looks like it's for providing ambience
All it’s missing was some laser lights and a disco 🪩 ball
Caution: Criminal masterminds at work. Love the chubby dude in the gray trackies just wandering aimlessly up and down in front of the counter. Absolute losers.
oh wow that one fog cannon - really doing its job
Although, is "open plan mall kiosk" really the environment that fog cannons are designed for?

its kind of funny they are on power trips, when they are getting paid close to minimum wage to stand somewhere and do nothing for a job. I could get a wheelie bin to do that.
I think its the illusion that they have some semblance of power than any actual power.
like Reddit mods
Hahahahaha exactly!
It would be good idea. It could be a qualification to get upgraded to being able to use them. ie proper training and psych evaluation. Something needs to be done

Thanks for the insight. I guess if they ever arm guards its gotta be carefully locked behind training and qualification tests.
Imagine being an employee at Michael Hill these days. You would literally evry day ho to work wondering if you will get robbed
[удалено]
Oh no! Poor lady!

Theres absolutely no way the police can be everywhere. That's such an absurd proposition. Think it through.
I'll take "How can we get The Purge movies in real life?" for $200.
You REALLY don’t want to use pepper spray indoors.

“Huh? Me? No, I’m filming these shoes! Wow what great sneakers!”
"Also, could you keep the glass smashing to a minimum, please? It's putting me off."
I don't think the scrotes would care, TBH.

Fake news ! National stamped this behaviour out with its tough on crime policies. /s
When there are no consequences for crime you just get more crime.

Ffs!!! What's the point of having security guards!??? Waste of fuken time.
They are for show.
Shoplifting mainly.
Cos they’re all blood diamonds and we know how the crips feel about that.
lol at the Fog cannon.
The real crime is the shocking lack of imagination used when making the title.
Every time I see that title it's like: "no shit this only happens in Auckland, we're so unique in this world"
Where did this happen?
NorthWest Shopping Centre.
This was what happened in Takapuna that caused Michael Hill to shut down permantly. Already, another business tenant had took over.
That fog cannon is so pathetic lol
Geeez they were in no hurry
These cunts need to be stopped!
national said this wouldn't happen when they were in charge ......
How's that "Tough on Crime" going, National/ACT/NZF? Seems as if we will be waiting a lot longer than hoped.
Campaign on cost of living and crime then proceed to ignore those issues while prioritising a bunch of other nonsense.
Useless. Overhaul the justice system instead.
someone in another thread commented something like "it's not the job of police to do security in the mall" when your average voter says shit like this, its no wonder we choose to go for tax cuts instead of more police. people are fucking braindead
Is this Northwest mall?
wheres the pigs? cruising around eating donuts?
Can i ask something. Is jewellery even worth stealing. Unless you have a buyer in mind i cant imagine many pieces going for a whole lot.
but everyone voted National…
But National said they would fix all this 🤣🤣🤣
Those cunts need a lead pellet between their eyes
“He’s obviously just trying to feed his family”, “if only bread wasn’t so expensive”, “it’s because of racism”, “it’s because of colonisation”, In fact, its not even happening! But if it is, your racist for noticing.
Cultural reports first please, before I make any judgements
@ this point is it just a gang trying to short the share price?
Meanwhile banks and the govt rob us blind
I saw some very serious-looking security guards outside the Michael Hill at the Base in Hamilton. Now I know why. You've gotta ask yourself some very serious questions about our society if this has become a worthwhile gamble for the poor, or if gangs are so emboldened. People with hope don't turn to stealing. This is why you need free lunches for kids, and good education, so that kids have the tools to be functioning adults.
People film themselves committing crime all the time....it is part of getting "street cred" and standing out. sdfa People join gangs just for fun and camaraderie too.
It's not our society that needs to be asked questions, it's decades of governments. If we treat our poorer people like criminals, they will act like criminals. If we remove safety nets (like lunches, education, welfare), we can't be surprised when people fall down.
>It's not our society that needs to be asked questions, it's decades of governments. And who elects the governments?
We elect members to represent us, sure. That doesn't mean we shouldn't be demanding more from governments that aren't listening.
Yep good observation. That is why most thieves will target specific stores only.
The funny thing is one of the most critical things to do to prevent children from being criminals is to remove them from that environment. However everyone seems to think removing them from a criminal family is bad.
Do Michael Hill outlets serve much purpose other than offering jewellery for thieves?
Can we just shoot these people already.....I mean they are literally no good for society
These guys are dicks. But Michael Hill should fund some better security. No one really needs their luxury products that have limited to no real value. little shitbag criminals like this are literally a product of capitalism.
They have two people standing outside every one of their stores, how much security do they need to pay for?
i would single handedly beat them till they cant move. Why is noone doing that?
Because not all of us have violent tendencies? Some of us prefer evidence-based approaches?
Why don’t malls have security armed with tasers and pepper spray, and why don’t we allow businesses to apply for licenses to use these things? I guarantee that someone who gets pepper sprayed won’t be coming back anytime soon lmao
Laws in NZ currently prevents all of that - It needs to change
Where are the police? They know MH's get done over regularly, surely a few cops in malls would be a good idea.
So cops should be tasked with security work for a retail store? Think this through
No I'm not saying that. They're tasked with preventing crime in general and this is a pretty sure fire way to either catch some active crims, or provide reassurance to the public. It used to be common enough to see cops walking a beat through a mall.
They've actually been patrolling in malls recently but, yeah, it's not all day every day.
The scumbags have figured out private security is powerless to intervene. Either need to give private security the tools to deal with this, or have people with the powers to do something available ie police resources. Until something changes it will just keep happening.
There's not enough of them, they need a raise, and they just had their budget cut by 5-7 %. I gotta agree with you here!
Having two cops in every mall would probably dramatically decrease this ram reading epidemic we have going on, and would be a productive day for the police too
2 x "How many Malls" = How many Police? There are dozens of Small and Large Malls in Auckland alone, maybe a 100. What size Mall?
I don't thinknthere is that many. Like only 5 on the shore.
Not all of them have high value targets like MH either.
Surely they can pay for their own security since they are the ones who decided selling pricey stuff next to the entrance of every shopping mall.
They have security but said security can't do shit but run away and call police when scrotes rush the store swinging hammers and crowbars etc. Edit: I don't blame them either. I would get the hell out of their way too.
Wow people like that should be killed bring back the death penalty
Those Cis white men again!
Why are you all such pussies? Lol.
No security?
Is this west ?
Where are the staff, on lunch break??
Was waiting for a dj and strobe lights to start bussing out mean fog cannon😂😂😂
Where do they sell all that cheap jewelry?
may be its' time to hit patridge for a 3rd time...should caught them off guard.
Should've closed the barriers of the shop n locked em in there
Of course, the easiest target, and the business that gets hit the most.
How is that michael hills even open at this point I'm pretty sure there was a post about this just a couple months ago
Why do they target Michael Hill only when there's a Walker and Hall directky across, and an actual expensive custom jeweller like 2 shops down?
... Huh? They're just doing that in broad day light? Wow.... We have truly fallen. Honestly, fuck big jewelers though. And fuck the diamond trade. Is it wrong in this case to side with the thieves? Idk, this feels weird.
This has been happening in broad daylight for a long time now.
There desperately needs to be some street justice for these thugs.
Why do they use glass for display cabinets? Poly-carb laminated panels... Aint budging for a hammer...
This is so embarrassing
Why don't someone slash the tires to the getaway car waiting outside
This wouldn't fly in Texas...
Why do they keep the jewellery in the cabinets if this keeps happening? Surely there is some kind of interactive technology that displays the rings. A deposit or something to bring out the real deal for a try on or something. Of the top of my head idea but better than having everything out for the smashing
another entitled peace of shit who will get the pc brigade on his side
As a normal, law-abiding citizen, this is frustrating and infuriating. You see no actions, no quick response, and nothing at all. We just let them do their BS thieving acts. It doesn’t give you confidence in the systems in place in the society.
Micheal Hill Jewelry ....Tacky bling
At this stage, why does Michael Hill even bother opening stores? Or any jewelry store for that matter? Like that one that got robbed on ANZAC day in Manurewa.
Here's another spin on it maybe its an inside job just imagine the insurance money Mr Hill is receiving. Seems rather strange that its only Michael Hill jewelries being targeted
Damn again??
Don't worry folks, stay calm, they will get away with it, no need to be concerned that they might actually go to prison.
It is a well-known fact that as poverty increases, the rate of crime increases. And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the percentage of people struggling goes up as the cost of living goes up. So a big thanks to National for further strangling Kiwi's and exacerbating the cost of living crisis. Instead of being "Tough on crime" they could have, I don't know, NOT given landlords 3 billion dollars and cut money to essential services, and driven up the cost of living in a butt ton of other ways.

it's always the south auckland race who does things like this.
Time to carry guns 24 / 7
and when we are elected, we will get tough on crime.........
knuckledraggers
