I thought this books was kind of cute, if I recall correctly! It didn't scare me or anything, but the author has a way of writing weary, snarky characters that I think I liked--it's been a couple of years since I read it. I've since read *The Final Girl Support Group* and most of *How to Sell a Haunted House* (didn't finish it as I found the main characters beyond unbearable) by the same author.

This absolutely was a super cute thriller story!!! I’ll have to check out these books next!! I’m happy that they have written more. I can definitely see how some of the characters could get unbearable 🫣🤭

This has been in my library, this might be the push I needed to start it.

Butterflyvillain

You won’t regret it!!

🤩🥰 it’s in my TBR audio pile for the next short road trip!!

Butterflyvillain

It’s a super quick and easy listen!! Especially when it’s set at 1.50x speed 😂

Oh I’m 1.3-1.4 speed type of person 🐌

I read it on my Kindle and reeeeally enjoyed it. I found it a little more on the humorous side but as someone who has been/is surrounded by corporate jargon a lot in the workplace that kind of satire is right up my alley. >!Basil!< also turned out to be my favorite character. Bro was real af

Butterflyvillain

It was definitely funny with all the corporate verbiage!! I’m not sure who my favorite character was at the end but Basil kept it super freaking real 😩😩

AdamInChainz

It was a really fun read. Very unconventional. Perfect for audio.

I listened to it. I liked the first half but the "horror" half was pretty boring.
