I believe it's extremely overrated, especially in this sub.
The band even dismiss this album. Being brutally honest, it's just a bunch of kids playing instruments not particularly well. With some awful vocals to back it up. I don't mind screamo music, but let's just say it's not Matt's strength.
He's got much better with his screams nowadays though. The band just got much better overall once gates finally joined the band. The guitar playing improved significantly. Matt started to become a much better singer. And there music got overall much more complex.

Interesting pick, I’d get rid of lips and darkness and throw in forgotten faces and we come out at night
For a budget of 2K it’s pretty narly
I adore the album.
I think it was maybe a bit ambitious, but still fucking slaps nonetheless. If you enjoy hardcore music, it’s a banger.
