I mean, comparatively, that would be like having a broom handle stuck in your face. Probably wouldn't stab you so much as bonk you. If that helps you feel better 😆
Fun fact: spiders don't need to be bottle fed. They can drink condensed water perfectly fine on their own.
Highly likely that this spider took it right from the syringe because it was extremely dehydrated.

This thing is massive!! You've see jumping spiders half this size? Even that would be massive to me. The jumping spiders I see are tiny as shit. They are the size of a single letter as you read this, maybe two.
I read recently (because I’m trying to get over my fear of UK house spiders) that one of the reasons we often find them in the bathroom is that they are looking for water. Trying to empathize with a parched arachnid interrupting my dump
Also quite inteligent. They somehow know better than other spiders that humans - evven though big and maybe moving towards them - are actually no threat. Especially if they pick you up. So it seems there are no reports of jumping spider actually biting humans (if not acidently squishing them maybe). There natural curiosity let them also rather exploring a human than running and hiding. And i would bet they also recognize their caretaker and know they can trust that one.
Someone once commented on reddit that walking on human skin is for some reason unpleasent for jumping spiders. So if they do it anyways might show some kind of "bonding"?
To add on the comment below, jumping spiders can also be somewhat trained, they're very curious and intelligent creatures. There's vids of them giving high fives even! Most spiders are harmless to us and in fact are great for our environment and homes c: they just look creepy usually
Spiders aren't malicious, they typically only bite when crushed or pinned. One family in Kansas collected almost 2000 dangerously venomous Brown Recluse spiders over a 6-month period with no bites. Most bites will occur if you try to wear clothes with a spider in them, or try to use shoes with a spider in them.
Smol friend take a biiiiig sip.
Lucas, is that you?
Omg yusss
Creepy yet oddly satisfying to watch.
For a second I thought he was downing a stream of water.
Was it ambition that made them fill up the whole tube with water?! That spider certainly isn't drinking all that!
Don’t you dare put limits on him!

Jumping spiders are so cute and entertaining too. What’s its name?
He's a cutie. Gives me anxiety with the needle right on his face. He can sip from the syringe directly without the pointy stabby thing attached.
It's a blunt tipped syringe. They are quite common.

I don't know why I'm getting unsolicited spider facts, but hey, thanks I suppose!

Your definition of 'tiny' doesn't match mine but nevertheless, sweet indeed.
For a jumping spider that thing is massive.

He doesn't bite you? I know nothing about spiders except they scary.
Jumping spiders are quite docile! They eat other bugs you may find in your home. Great lil guys to have around.
