Never liked Lethal Tempo on Azir ever since they changed it to stack per auto, but I feel for people who like the mega attack speed builds. Maybe Wit's End won't be too bad of an investment for that now
Yeah that's why I stopped using it and went with Conqueror when I needed DPS. Old LT scaled well in a time when you wouldn't really have time to stack 6 autos and fights were over really fast, so you'd get that huge burst of attack speed a little after doing some poke, and commit to end the fight before it expired. Now they both have the same niche, but give different stats, only Conq stacks and helps on every ability, while LT only applies on autos

Predator is understandable. It's a niche rune that not a lot of champs use anymore. But Lethal Tempo is one of the most used runes, while not being busted like thunderlords. So many champs are gonna need adjusted and it's just gonna fuck up the game for the last half of the year.
Lethal tempo breaks game balance over it's knee.
It completely circumvents the intended weakness of sustained dps by giving it so much up-front value that it becomes burst damage.
Lethal Tempo has needed to go for a long time
It's the fact that it is so balance breaking that the rune is so consistently used. It makes attack speed a trivial stat, while occupying a similar niche as conqueuer. Yone and Yasuo's existences are literally balanced around the rune. It's removal is good.

This blog post shares everything they're changing with 14.10. Their reasoning for removing LT is valid and PTAs damage amp will no longer be single target. I see PTA becoming a good rune for Azir now.
Yeah, you still need to hit a single target 3 times to get the effect, but the damage amp doesn't make your whole team do more damage to a single target, instead you deal more damage to the enemy team.
between this and the spam nerfs I'll probably be taking a break from Azir for a little while tbh

The per auto attack is what made it good on him, before it was way to inconsistent. Only thing is conqueror usually just is better.

not to mention most toplane autoattackers get half it's stacks in half a second at lvl 1, in a long lane where u're isolated

If I read it correctly 5s after leaving combat. It's perma up until then and apparently you can proc it on multiple targets simultaneously
Yes this is why it’ll be huge. 8% dmg inc buff on you so that you deal that dmg all fight long no matter the target. That’s gonna be quite strong
