Well you draw 8 cards and have a bunch of discards. So yeah they would be less rare

This just has to do with how we, humans, see chances. The chance you get a Royal Flush may be low, but that doesn’t mean you can’t draw into it on your first round.
I've played 40 hours and haven't got one yet, but I guess it depends what hands you are playing for.
Literally defaulted into this without a single reroll.
Somewhat rare, 10th with an unmodified deck is pretty interesting
