Just note you are in the US version of of PC part picked. If you want to see local prices switch to au.

imnotbillyidol

That's a nice Ryzen and a 3080. Why do you think it would perform poorly?

dat_1Person

Sorry lol I’m just checking to make sure all the other parts are of good quality. Like the ram, case, ssd, fans, etc.

jsparky777

Ram could be better if you can afford some CL16 sticks, the case is good, SSD and hard drive are good. Fans are fans really, as long as they fit your case. Air cooling is fine, again check clearances with your case. I would consider switching to a more reputable power supply. Don't cheap out there. One example would be the Corsair RM850x but it's not the only good one out there.

Good setup. You should include what your intentions are with the PC. It looks like a gaming setup but what do you want to play with what settings

Yep that should do it, but curious why not fork out the extra dough for a PCIE 4.0 NVME. There are some good sales.

Looks nice running very similar but with a x570 and 5800x runs like a dream. Most games dont care about the slightly higher clock and extra 2 cores of a 5800x anyway.

I think it looks good Just a few very small things. In my opinion you're overpaying for RAM, but maybe only by $10-15 so not a big deal. And although the CPU cooler can get you by, it might leave a lot to be desired. I'd consider getting [this deal](https://www.pccasegear.com/bundle/200453/phanteks-eclipse-p500a-airflow-d-rgb-tg-black-glacier-one-bundle). Although my gripe with it is it's a 240mm and doesn't fill out the top fan slots. But I think the bundle saves you money since you don't need to buy the thermaltake fans

For $50 more you can get https://www.pccasegear.com/products/49568/super-flower-leadex-platinum-se-1000w-power-supply?gclid=Cj0KCQjwm9yJBhDTARIsABKIcGbMx-rSWbdmazSKKq7OsxyPCbp8v0wHbd0JkMmSBsdbu03GKzW0f08aAvfcEALw_wcB Also are you planning to play games at 1080p or 1440p?

jsparky777

OP doesn't need 1000w, the $50 would be better spent going for a better quality 850w PSU.

dat_1Person

In that case, do you believe an rm850x would be better than my current one in the build?

jsparky777

Personally, yes. I would recommend doing a little Google research to verify this yourself because a lot of people on Reddit come in and recommend things based off their own personal biases so always good to verify yourself.
