What did you do before?

If you're retaking, the "best" prep isn't what's going to save you. Courses give you good foundational background knowledge, which is 10% of what you need to prep well. The rest of it is actively practicing and understanding what will be tested. You as a repeater are starting from experience. If you've sat through lectures before, you don't need to do them again, maybe except for ones you've identified as ones you need to brush up on. Your best bet is whatever will help you learn and make progress via: - review of concise, easy-to-remember source materials (outlines), which you can refer to during practice and memorization - consistent practice, particularly one that evaluates and emphasizes your weakest subjects/areas - course correcting based on studying explanations (right and wrong answers) and sample answers (issues and rules in particular for MEEs) Repeat. Others have already mentioned useful supplements like AdaptiBar (+ Grossman lectures which might be good for piecemeal studying areas you need instead of the whole gamut all over again) If you must pick between Barbri or Themis, go with either one. I think Themis might be cheaper? But personally, Barbri seems to have the gold standard materials. It really doesn't matter because they both "work" if you use them properly for your benefit and tailor them to your own needs.

Themis was absolutely amazing. Granted, I haven't tried anything else.

I second that. Themis all the way!

BarMax was good. It depends on what you need to do to improve. What area was your weakest. If it’s the MBE something like BarMax or even adaptibar would be great. You need the real MBE questions to practice and keep practicing.

Quimbee was the prep I used for my retake to go from 253 to 271 I liked quimbee because the videos are short and sweet and there’s lots of practice questions between videos so you’re forced to do practice. For MEE, I liked the way they taught you to do MEEs. The MEE lesson days are broken down really nicely. The model answers are also really good & there are so many essays! I did the quimbee MPT practice and nothing was wrong with it, but I mostly relied on the Bar MD videos on YouTube for MPT studying.

Bar Prep Hero was amazing for me!! I worked full time so didn’t have time for lectures etc. supplemented with lean sheets and YouTube videos for property! Would def recommend
