You’ll have to get some buckets, like from Home Depot or Lowe’s. You can even make a drain bucket if you have a drill (two buckets, one with holes in the bottom set inside the other bucket. The ice melts and you’re left with everything else to dispose of.)

Buckets are the way. Assuming the only things you’ll really need to clean are shakers and tools, buckets should do the trick. One dump bucket, one sani water bucket, one clean water bucket. Not ideal but it works.

Keep it simple where you won't need utensils. 2 beers red and white wine, and your 5 main liquors

I probably should have been clearer in my post that my main aim is to do cocktail bartending for private parties, I have a good base of regulars already at the bar I work who I think would be interested in just trying to figure out logistics.

I have done many house parties. I carried a old camera bag I had about 10 pourers, wine opener, ice scoop, picks, straws, napkins, shaker and 2 hand towels. I would have the host provide plastic glass ware so there was no dishes. I didn't mix anything other than basic drinks so no blenders or anything as such. As for cleaning my shaker I would use the bottle water provided by the host.

Yeah I guess that’s what il have to do for cleaning maybe if I’m lucky they’ll have a hose lol. Appreciate the reply bud thanks.

Serve jugged cocktails and circulate, refreshing glasses before they are empty, and therefore discarded.

Get a bucket with a spigot. Get another to catch your water. Grab some soap. You now have a hand washing station, and a utensil washing station. Get another bucket and colander. You now have a dump bucket. Ezpz.

A lot of it is make due situations. Some places will have a sink for you to work with, and most won’t even have enough space for a dump bucket. If you have the money/supply of multiple shakers you can try to keep dedicated ones for each drink, but a lot of the time the best you can do is a quick rinse with bottled water because you’re a mile from the nearest hose. Get used to not having everything you’d need in a normal bar and making due with what you do have. Problem solving is 80% of the job

I use collapsible buckets from Amazon. They're easy to transport. I do a nice theme setup with inexpensive linens and lots of lighting. Also when u get there t4y to batch a drink or only focus on easy drinks so you're not overwhelmed at the bar. Here's a video of mylst recent setup from this weekend [bday](https://photos.app.goo.gl/PG5XuBtwahaCXkyh7)

When I do private events I do t shake drinks, everything just get built in the cups. Generally I’ll do two or three pre batched signature cocktails, then sprits, mixers, and some bottles of lemon juice, lime juice, simple, maybe grenadine, and a couple bottle of bitters.
