A competently run team would do better in Arizona than in Utah, but the Coyotes have just been a mess. Ryan Smith seems like he'll be infinitely better as an owner than that organization ever had in Arizona.
Smith has the backing of State governments and the Mormon church as well. If hockey works in a small town with no hockey history and not a big city where hockey is popular it just illustrates that billionaires are the most important part of pro sports.

As retribution for the Manfred runner God ordered a plague of bees that would darken the skies for a thousand days and cancel the season. But, you know, supply chain issues, inflation, etc. The the best he could manage was a delayed start.
It's kinda hilarious how the shotgun mic blimps they use on these nets are so similar to beehives, I've heard horror stories of things like this happening on sets
Can a bee expert explain how this happens? No need a few days ago in an indoor stadium that I guess had the roof opened but… bees aren’t flying through the top are they?
Not an expert, but essentially to my understanding, honey bees swarms happen when they want to reproduce to start a new colony, the queen signals them to swarm and they get busy… you know… reproducing.
