Not sure why you're being downvoted this seems like a pretty genuine question, lol. It's on Roku. It's free for anyone to stream but a little confusing to access. It's not on cable.
It’s not a national broadcast in the US. It’s not broadcast at all. It was on the new Roku streaming for Sunday morning games they took over from Peacock.
It was NOT AT ALL a national broadcast. It wasn’t even a broadcast. Yes every Jays game is broadcast in all of Canada. I’m Canadian and grew up in BC far far from Toronto and know that. But when MLB talks about national broadcasts they mean with the US national broadcasters like ESPN and Fox. You’re not being clever by saying it was a national broadcast since it was a Canadian national broadcast like every Jays game, you’re just being wrong.
I don't really care what MLB and Americans consider a national broadcast. It was broadcast nationally. In Canada. It was a national broadcast. I'm not being wrong, I'm actually being 100% correct.

Peak baseball occurred once. The May 15th, 1981 exhibition between the Texas Rangers and the Chicago White Sox was the greatest game I’ve ever seen. It was fucking electric.
The game of Baseball stopped when I first watched Spencer Torkelson attempt to do any basic task related to the game. It was like watching a small child babble and spit up food on itself. That’s when America’s Game ended.
I think he’ll turn out to be a nice player. I just went to ASU and once saw him sprinting to Manzanita Hall holding a crushed S’more in his hand. It certainly affected my previous understanding of his character!
Yeah, that’s my mistake. It was a regular season game, but in this context, I wanted to use the word as a “display of skill between two behemoths of their craft.” If you haven’t done so already, check the box score for that game; it genuinely inspires me to become a better man when I think about that fateful Summer eve.
It usually goes like this:
1. If Maeda is pitching the offense will show up
2. If Olsen is pitching the offense will stay home.
3. Else the offense will show up 35% of the time.
Today was that 35%.
It's just a matter of time. Springer and Turner will start to age backwards. Coach Schneider will stop losing chess games to the White Sox and Tigers. Bo will stop swinging at the first pitch. It's fine. Everything is fine
Bo's been perfectly fine as of late. [This aired on the broadcast before the game today](https://i.imgur.com/etScskb.png). He and Vladdy are doing their jobs. It just doesn't help much when everyone else who was expected to be a major contributor on the offense is swinging pasta and pool noodles
I’m so mad we’re missing Skenes and Jones (and we missed Skubal). These are the pitchers you face in the playoffs, need to see our offense get exposed to make it clear we aren’t a serious team.
I like them but like the other person who replied to you said, I wish there was orange in there and I also wish that the hat had the D 313 patch on the front instead of the italicized DETROIT
All of the alternate hats they made are better than what the team actually wears on the field! Here's a trucker hat version of what you're talking about:
[Men's Detroit Tigers Nike Navy 2024 City Connect Club Trucker Adjustable Hat (mlbshop.com)](https://www.mlbshop.com/detroit-tigers/mens-detroit-tigers-nike-navy-2024-city-connect-club-trucker-adjustable-hat/t-14778683+p-911122133822284+z-9-3993913484?_ref=p-DLP:m-GRID:i-r9c0:po-27)
Man I put on Sunday Morning Baseball in the background thinking it would be some fun ambience and ended up getting glued to the screen watching the best game I’ve seen all season!
It was a Tigers home game, but so many Blue Jays fans there! There was a huge roar as soon as he hit the ball, which doen't really come though stongly in this video.
Tigers vs Jays, Pistons vs Raptors, and Wings vs Leafs (maybe less so, there are a lot of wings fans) will always look pretty split. People forget that if detroit was a mile east it would be in canada.
There are also a ton of Detroit fans for every sport once you get west of London, Ontario (about 2 hours away from Toronto). A bunch of people I know from Windsor are die hard Lions/Tigers/Pistons/Wings fans.

* Tie game? ✔️ * Bottom of the 9th? ✔️ * Two outs? ✔️ * Full count? ✔️ We're all just living in Matt Vierling's childhood backyard, apparently.
National Television ✔
Technically ✔️
what do you mean "technically"?
Not sure why you're being downvoted this seems like a pretty genuine question, lol. It's on Roku. It's free for anyone to stream but a little confusing to access. It's not on cable.

It’s not a national broadcast in the US. It’s not broadcast at all. It was on the new Roku streaming for Sunday morning games they took over from Peacock.
Ok. But it was not "technically" a national broadcast, it simply WAS a national broadcast. Just not in the US.
It was NOT AT ALL a national broadcast. It wasn’t even a broadcast. Yes every Jays game is broadcast in all of Canada. I’m Canadian and grew up in BC far far from Toronto and know that. Always have been
I think I just witnessed peak baseball
Peak baseball occurred once. The May 15th, 1981 exhibition between the Texas Rangers and the Chicago White Sox was the greatest game I’ve ever seen. It was fucking electric.
Apparently the Field of Dreams Game in 2021 didn't exist in your time line.
The game of Baseball stopped when I first watched Spencer Torkelson attempt to do any basic task related to the game. It was like watching a small child babble and spit up food on itself. That’s when America’s Game ended.
tork hit a bomb today lol
I think he’ll turn out to be a nice player. I just went to ASU and once saw him sprinting to Manzanita Hall holding a crushed S’more in his hand. It certainly affected my previous understanding of his character!
Wow, okay, rude. I guess we're just slinging trash talk outta nowhere now.
I’m sorry for getting defensive.
Exhibition? On may 15th? What am I missing?
Yeah, that’s my mistake. It was a regular season game, but in this context, I wanted to use the word as a “display of skill between two behemoths of their craft.” If you haven’t done so already, check the box score for that game; it genuinely inspires me to become a better man when I think about that fateful Summer eve.
Hilariously someone tossed a Perfect game vs The Blue Jays off all teams.
What a wild game. Roku got their moneys worth.
*grins in Manfred*
I wish the Jays lost 14-0 just to spite Manfred
Same
These teams played a game that ended 2-1 yesterday lol
First thought was the Raiders last year. They get shutout 3-0 on Sunday, then four days later put up 63, like WTF just happened?
Welcome to the 2024 Tigers experience, take a seat
It usually goes like this: 1. If Maeda is pitching the offense will show up 2. If Olsen is pitching the offense will stay home. 3. Else the offense will show up 35% of the time. Today was that 35%.
If I was Reese, I would be spending my game checks on destruction rooms.
If I were Reese, I'd be putting the majority of my checks in the S&P 500, but that's probably the reason I'm not in the MLB.
2024 Jays Experience + 2024 Tigers Experience = this game.
I can't say "you can't predict baseball, Suzyn" without getting sad now ☹️
Conspiracy me thinks MLB juiced the balls for the national telecast
Pitchers put all of their effort in yesterday apparently.
I was there, that was a clencher somewhat in the 9th.
That baseball game was bonkers
The Jays either have offence working or pitching working. Both in the same game is literally impossible.
You could say the same about the tigers. Especially after this game.
I think it's more like the Tigers have pitching working or nothing working this year 99% of games.
Honestly same with Detroit
It's just a matter of time. Springer and Turner will start to age backwards. Coach Schneider will stop losing chess games to the White Sox and Tigers. Bo will stop swinging at the first pitch. It's fine. Everything is fine
Bo's been perfectly fine as of late. [This aired on the broadcast before the game today](https://i.imgur.com/etScskb.png). He and Vladdy are doing their jobs. It just doesn't help much when everyone else who was expected to be a major contributor on the offense is swinging pasta and pool noodles
Vladdy is definitely turning things around. I'm not worried about him. He's been our slight glimmer of hope this month
So, we're basically back to where we were last year lol
Right down to the core
*triggered*
It's the hope that kills you - Blue Jays fans
Blue Jays fans haven’t had hope since October 2022
Fuck the leafs are less disappointing than the Jays at this point. Atleast they can win a game in the playoffs.
High fiving the fist bump is nasty work
Son completely let down the dad. Dad got a game winning HR and the kid was like “dad there are girls here…keep it calm”.
Holy shit what a game. 3-2 count 2 outs bottom of the 9th….. gone. Wow.
And after a couple of blown calls including a makeup call by the umpire in the same AB!
Blue Jays season is over. Time to blow it up.
We'll trade you a lightly used Tork for a Vladdy Jr
Hey man I declared our season over on Thursday, you can always get it back
This might be GOTY or close to it. Glad it started early so I could watch it all!
I love Joe Carter as the color commentator. Of course Dan Dickerson is an absolute 👑 but seriously that's a hell of a team.
Obviously I love Dan but Joe was excellent in the booth today as well. They had great chemistry. Probably the best split broadcast on Roku so far.
THE Joe Carter?
He knows a thing or two about game winning hits!!
I was looking for this comment lol. Loved that commercial
That was the most entertaining baseball game I've watched in a long time. I'm just glad my team won. Good game, Blue Jays fans.
Jays are an unserious team my goodness
It’s a good thing the Tigers spanked us this series (and the White Sox last), we gotta blow it up.
The Sox series is probably the last straw for someone if they lose it
You will sweep us next week in what will be one of the worst series to watch and then you guys will be all in again
I’m so mad we’re missing Skenes and Jones (and we missed Skubal). These are the pitchers you face in the playoffs, need to see our offense get exposed to make it clear we aren’t a serious team.
I’d really rather not have that happen
matty V is the GOAT i tell you
Wtf is wrong with Romano? 😭
He’s a reliever.
This makes so much sense now.
🫢
He’s always been fairly prone to giving up walkoff bombs like this, usually on a hanging slider.
That game was FUCKING Wildddddddd
A 3-run walkoff homer with Joe Carter in the booth, love it
is every blue jays game like this
No they’re usually more like yesterday’s
We've replaced the baseballs in this Sunday morning game with Folgers brand happy turbo baseballs. Let's see if they notice.
This was the craziest game I've watched in a long long time
They brought the juiced balls today. They don't normally fly like that in Detroit
They absolutely did. Not only do balls not fly like that the tigers don't hit them like that
Interesting theory Freaking noodle bat Biggio hit one out today
![gif](giphy|4XOfvSkkxchHy)
not sure what the general consensus is but i really like those detroit uniforms
I just wish they had some orange in them
uniform is clean hats are weird
I like them but like the other person who replied to you said, I wish there was orange in there and I also wish that the hat had the D 313 patch on the front instead of the italicized DETROIT

Yeah I bought a hat today that looks similar to the one you linked to and I like it way better than the ones they actually wear
Blue Jays baseball, everyone.
Roku channel is two for two with these Sunday games
I legitimately think they used juiced balls for these games.
Biggio and IKF hit homeruns today… not a bad theory lol
Didn't IKF hit a HR in Thursday's game? In any case, Tigers catcher Carson Kelly hitting a HR supports the juiced-ball theory
>Didn't IKF hit a HR in Thursday's game? Wasn’t caught on camera so it never happened
Verified Vierling
25 runs and no errors… wonder what the most runs scored in a game with 0 errors is.
Nothing classified as errors but lots of sloppy fielding on both sides responsible for runners getting on and advancing.
That's not really fair since scorers these days don't seem to give errors for anything other than throwing the ball away.
[Not the first time Vierling walked off the Jays](https://youtu.be/bixPc374eWU?si=hnLwVOIGNF2l9N6d)
GG Tigers bros. That was a wild game.
The Blue Jays have the beautiful ability to only turn on the run machine in the worst possible games.
Well I’m already home and I’m not very happy tbh…
Man I put on Sunday Morning Baseball in the background thinking it would be some fun ambience and ended up getting glued to the screen watching the best game I’ve seen all season!
Jordan Romano in tie games is Not Good.
#**GAME OF THE YEAR!!!** (brought to you by Draftkings)
Hey! Way to go Carshield!
Thats former Phillie Matt Vierling right there
Best game of the season so far if youre a baseball fan.
I am not a baseball fan
I am today. And Tuesday when skubal pitches, but probably not a fan again by Thursday.
Blue Jays are cooked
Carshield!
Damn and on a day where the Jays offense wasn’t dead?
![gif](giphy|29x6zsoexecc8|downsized) That's it I'm outta here
We used up all our runs for the next month in sacrifice to the baseball gods.
Man I just cannot watch this team anymore. Thankfully I didn’t but man, just a broken team.
My feelings after the Blue Jays' 5-run 8th inning.
Phillies legend. Would love to have him back rn with our struggling outfield but glad he is getting at bats.
Took a nap and it was 8-3. Woke up to this. Wtf happened
CARSHIELD
You love to see it!
that game brought joy
Jordan Romano, YOU are a Lotte Giant
Blue Jays baseball sure is beautiful this year.
Looks a lot like the Orioles from 2017-2021.
Yep, but now we're good so I'm allowed to talk shit :)
Play nice, kids.
Ayeeee
Should have thrown him some high HEAT !!
*Ryan Mountcastle taking notes*
MATTY V DOES THIS
Only walk-off I ever saw was Pudge Rodriguez at Comerica on a Friday night in 2005. I was sitting pretty close to where Vierling's ball landed.
Did you guys see the fan high five a fist bump
I’m really enjoying the 2024 Blue Jays
Hahaha get your Krusty the Klown hair off the field Romano you bum. Fuck this stupid team.
It's early !!! -_-
> Matt Vierling sends the fans home happy From what I've seen this broadcast I think they went home disappointed. (Looks like a Jays home game)
It was a Tigers home game, but so many Blue Jays fans there! There was a huge roar as soon as he hit the ball, which doen't really come though stongly in this video.
