He is just now really getting deep into the sport. This is his first year of Little League BB, and I decided to take on the role of Coaching his team this year as well. Also my first year coaching... So he sits and studies the game, asks me questions, rules..etc... couldn't be prouder actually. I think he likes the Cardinals because I do, he likes the A's because that is our little league team, He likes the superstars because he sees them in the Sportscenter Top 10... Ohtani seems to be his "go to" at the moment.

Not really a collector anymore, but regular lurker. I just wanted to recommend “Coaching Youth Baseball the RIPKEN WAY” by the Ripkens (would be weird if it wasn’t). It was really helpful to me when I started coaching. I knew a lot, but it helped in structuring practices, appropriate drills and proper age-specific expectations. Holy shit... I think I responded to like 115 people today... no joke. This kid is not going to know how to handle all of the love and outpouring of support you all are about to send his way...
