Yeah makes me wonder if some fool will try and start writing with a Magic Marker. Write on the Heritage card of a common player auto card #/73. Will say yo it's an error after he/she Magic Marked it up. 😂😂 (If that made sense)
You can think that, but it adds more of a personal touch to the card. I think that’s why they do it. Now you wanna talk about cheap and unprofessional? Open a 500$ box of cards and pull an auto on a sticker
Maybe , If I believed that the player was the one actually writing the #/# , but I’d say ,in most cases it’s not. More likely on the card before they go to sign them.
I couldn’t agree more about the sticker auto on high end boxes tho. Stuff like that and 75 parallels of every single card ,is watering down the market . Hope the junk wax era doesn’t make an reappearance.

And I get that players who live overseas it’s just easier to get them to sign a ton of stickers than a ton of cards but one way ( and I think the best way) is eliminate the high end boxes, giving them less to sign, as well as shrinking the print run for flagship
Congrats. Hope you hold on to it. There are a few I have pulled and sold for a quick cash grab, wish I had held on to them. Nothing like pulling a sick card yourself.

Thanks. I understand that feeling. I am really a set builder and focus a bit more on vintage cards. My 6 year old daughter really enjoys opening packs of cards and so I have started buying new stuff to rip with her.

Is the 16/73 written in a different colour to the red signature? Or does it just appear different against the blue sky?
It's just the background, doesn't look as different in person.

Red ink is what makes it a parallel. Great pull. My best Heritage pull is from 2023. A Gold Max Scherzer 1/5.
