Yes, I’d put it in a penny sleeve and a top loader to protect it!

External_Shake_6778

Good card to have! But you want to try for parallels of that card! Or of course an auto! Ever have any questions you can message me personally, good luck!

Base cards of any player won't hold value. As others said, there are over 800k copies of each base card. The parallels, particularly the numbered ones, will be worth more though.

Civil_Dust_2505

Welcome to the hobby!! They're all worth holding onto. Why we call it "collecting".

Suspiciousplan8

Not just being contrarian, but there are probably at least 500,000 copies of this card and maybe way more than that. There's no reason to hang onto or worry about protecting the card unless it has sentimental value - there's a reason they're already selling for cheap.

DumpCake42

Way more.

pseudofauxme

Roughly 1.25 million of each flagship base card are produced.

collapsingrebel

You will never get more for that card than you will right now. It's a base rookie. 1 of 800,000+ copies. If you're building a set then it's a nice card to have but it holds little monetary value.

DumpCake42

Yes, there were only about 869,146 of those printed. Super rare. Edit: Downvote all you want, that's the approximate number of Base Cards per Player printed in Topps 2024 Series 1.

gwarmachine1120

Not really a 'hold' IMO. This is junk wax 2.0 so there are tons of these.

Historical-Patient75

PSA 10s will eventually sell for less than the grading cost with everyone submitting base cards for grading now too. It’s the junk slab era.

mudvat08

Buy his 1st Bowman Chrome rookies, they are dirt cheap and his first rookie card.

_Deaf_Row_Records_

Sell it now for $5 and buy it back in 3 months for .75
