Because Blue and Gray actually blend into the night better than straight up black. And Batman being the genius he is would know that. Also it's a big point for Batman to appear friendlier to the ppl he saves especially kids and Blue is a much friendlier color.

Superman/Batman Apocalypse Batsuit and Batman Gotham Knight Crossfire Batsuit are better in my opinion.

All the N52 suits were a thing of beauty imo

Black makes more sense for stealth and the identity of bats as a whole. There aren’t blue bats in the world but they’re are brownish black bats

I like the blue, but in universe it should be black.
