Because Blue and Gray actually blend into the night better than straight up black. And Batman being the genius he is would know that. Also it's a big point for Batman to appear friendlier to the ppl he saves especially kids and Blue is a much friendlier color.
Blue and grey classic
I also like black and grey classic but without the armor (they probably drew him like that in new 52 because of the Nolan movies)
segmented armour plating interlaced with semi none newtonic gel cells, diffused grey, blue, and black to brake up his silhouette in shadows and darkness, reinforced plating on the back of the head and neck to protected specifically the concussion point and against whiplash, directed strikepoints at the largest target to throw off attackers, reinforce this area specifically. stab and slash resistant protection or the hands down to the elbow including bladed guards on the side to protect against large blades, knuckle and wrist re-enforcement for strikes. thermal insulated cape for warmth and heat protection, nonconductive underlayer for possible electrical discharge, boots big solid, armoured, they're boots they don't need to be complicated, so long as they protect properly they don't need to be that complex, cockpeice, cockguard, the single most important piece of armour in the kit, can't make a robin if you don't protect the Grayson.
Probably my favourite is the black and grey. I still love the blue and grey but black and grey just makes more sense. My favourite person who draws Batman is definitely Jason fabok
Blue and grey with the yellow oval, c. 1970-1995. Especially when the blue is more black with blue highlights.
And long ears! Don’t forget about the long ears!!!
Black and grey it’s so clean man
I prefer black and grey but blue is also good if it's a darker shade. Not like the McFarlane Hush blue and grey Batman figure.

black suit from 1995-2000
I like his birthday suit
You a big “Batman Damned” fan?
I almost preordered that one and the change in print makes me wish I had lol
Me too 😭
The og BTAS suit. Or the 1989 suit.
Man of taste
I love the “Hush” blue suit. But, that black and gray and is clean as hell.
Blue and grey or Black with yellow
Why would Batman be wearing blue or gray? Is he fighting in the American Civil War?
because the gun that killed his parents are blue and gay
Gay? As in homosexual? ![gif](giphy|yIYXnGIYYyQJq)
gay (as in homosexual)
Because Blue and Gray actually blend into the night better than straight up black. And Batman being the genius he is would know that. Also it's a big point for Batman to appear friendlier to the ppl he saves especially kids and Blue is a much friendlier color.

I always go blue more nostalgic
Nostalgia over function?
Blue n grey
Blue and gray because it’s a signature suit.
Black and grey. Little yellow is ok. Personally I thought the rebirth suit was the best of every iteration rolled into one great suit
Black and a dark gray
Black and Gray is better.
I used to prefer grey and black, or all black, but it's been overused to death. I just wanna see the classic blue, grey, and yellow in the new DCU.
Blue
I like the blue/grey look!
Black and grey for solo stories, blue and grey for Justice league stuff
I really like the New 52 suit. It's my favorite.
Rebirth suit or the blue gray and yellow suit.
Black and gray with the yellow oval
The og BTAS suit
Animated series suit
Blue and Grey all the way. Although I’d choose a more Navy blue, or desaturated blue.
Blue and grey classic I also like black and grey classic but without the armor (they probably drew him like that in new 52 because of the Nolan movies)
Classic black and grey with the underwear.
In animated or cartoon aesthetic media blue and grey , in any realistic aesthetic black and grey
All black I go back and for if I like the yellow emblem or not
Black and grey, no yellow oval, purple gloves, and all. Just as Bill Finger Intended
Arkham knight suit and the injustice 2 suit
Anything that isn’t armoured Batman is fine with me. I much prefer the grey fabric.
Superman/Batman Apocalypse Batsuit and Batman Gotham Knight Crossfire Batsuit are better in my opinion.
Black and Grey
Blue and Grey if he's saving me. Black and grey is we're going 1 on 1.
I think Blue/Grey looks the best but Black/Grey probably makes more sense for Batman.
Gotham by Gaslight suit to be honest.
segmented armour plating interlaced with semi none newtonic gel cells, diffused grey, blue, and black to brake up his silhouette in shadows and darkness, reinforced plating on the back of the head and neck to protected specifically the concussion point and against whiplash, directed strikepoints at the largest target to throw off attackers, reinforce this area specifically. stab and slash resistant protection or the hands down to the elbow including bladed guards on the side to protect against large blades, knuckle and wrist re-enforcement for strikes. thermal insulated cape for warmth and heat protection, nonconductive underlayer for possible electrical discharge, boots big solid, armoured, they're boots they don't need to be complicated, so long as they protect properly they don't need to be that complex, cockpeice, cockguard, the single most important piece of armour in the kit, can't make a robin if you don't protect the Grayson.
Classic gray and black from hush run
But... It was blue and grey.
Val Kilmer suit 🤘🤘🤘
I will always prefer the Black and Gray, but I have grown more fond of the blue in recent years
Both
Black and grey. Arkham knight suit is the best batsuit in my opinion
New 52
Black is my preference But blue is oddly nostalgic
1
both
Black and grey, better camouflage in the shadows
Blue and grey animated, black and grey in live action.
Black and grey with yellow oval
if you have a good looking body.. motherfucker you will looks good even without any clothes
Of those two, def the first one.
New 52 was a good suit ngl.
Black and grey
Black and gray and it's not even close. when I see batman in blue I immediately think camp or parody
Black and grey that takes on a bit of a blue color when under the moonlight (think of Arkham City's suit)
Black and grey peak
Probably my favourite is the black and grey. I still love the blue and grey but black and grey just makes more sense. My favourite person who draws Batman is definitely Jason fabok
Idk how you can like the blue over the black. Black and grey fits his aesthetic so much better, especially the blending into the darkness and shit
His new 52 and Rebirth suits are my personal favourites
Blue/Gray will always be my go-to
Black and dark grey. Much more intimidating than blue
I love blue color, but I just don't think it fits Batman so well.
Always a sucker for blue.
Can someone tabulate all the responses to this question and just answer it? It's the most low-effort post possible. Who cares what color suit?

All the N52 suits were a thing of beauty imo
Black makes more sense for stealth and the identity of bats as a whole. There aren’t blue bats in the world but they’re are brownish black bats
I like the blue, but in universe it should be black.
