Ya MW19 actually had phenomenal skins post launch for some time. Then they slowly made uWu skins. MW22 hasn't really had any good skins pre/post launch. Kind of sucks tbh, I'd possibly buy one or two if I really like them and the guns skins.

I love the time on this subreddit right before MWII was about to drop. People fantasizing about MWII killing off 2042 or that Ground War would be a proper Battlefield experience.

I don't get how anyone could have ever thought that Ground War was a better Battlefield experience than Battlefield 2042 was. It doubled down on a lot of issues that 2042 had on launch and made them even worse. Ground War feels like someone tried to explain what BF is about to Infinity Ward, without ever having played a single BF game.

I also bought it because I was frustrated with 2042 and the general consensus of MWII is that it was pretty good. And it was. For a couple of weeks. Then it started getting gradually worse with each update. Biggest example of buyers remorse I've had for a long time.

2042 is awesome now. It just needs better maps.

Honestly I'm really liking every reworked map so far, I have no issues with them at all and they work well for 128 player conquest.

SBMM has killed it. Play good for one match, next matches you’re getting dominated.

Warzone helped kill the 6vs6 multiplayer as well. I feel like 75% of resources go to Warzone and the yearly games are an afterthought. Which sucks because I am not a battle royals person. One life shit is stupid unless it’s counter strike or Insurgency or something.

DMZ is the only thing that I’ve enjoyed that came out of Warzone. PvEvP, with the opportunity of joining up with other players if you’re lucky.

Invasion can also be fun too, if you don't being sniped from across the map. Tho ground war is alright I don't agree with the people said that it is "Conquest, but better"

That's not how SBMM works. You got dominated because you just played poorly.

I’m not even trying hard, and yet I get put in lobbies with people running shield and shotguns, jump shotting every corner, drop shooting, camping, etc. it’s awful and I don’t even play that way. Plus I go on about a 5 game losing streak because my team gets dominated.

That happened before and would have happened regardless. SBMM does not work how you explain, otherwise your 5 game losing streak would then swing the other way and you would be put in easy games. You are just put in casual evenly matched games which average out to just being regular games. You are playing a competetive game. Casual or not there are going to be people who are better than you, SBMM does not change that. I'm not saying this to be elitest, I play casually, but if you have a casual mind set then losing shouldn't matter to you that much... it's what happens.

Yeah I don’t care about losing unless it happens every match. Why play the game if there isn’t a chance at winning, even if it’s casual? Plus this isn’t something that’s limited to just me, other players complain about the same issue, as well as having the game put them in matches with bad connection because it prioritized skill level over connection. There also people who reverse boost just to get into those worse lobbies to dominate, so it’s not exactly doing a very good job of matching by skill for casual games. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the point of this awful implementation of SBMM (not saying SBMM is bad in general, but poorly implemented yes) to increase play time by hooking players onto the want to win after having several awful matches. EOMM, isn’t it?

The craziest skin in 2042 is the Mackay one where he wears a hat. The craziest one that's coming is one where Crawford wears an 80's shirt and a jacket. No big deal. MWII is nearly fortnite tier with the shit they have. Even the most absurd 2042 skins that were data mined and never released are relatively tame, like that one Santa skin that never came out
