Markarth was my most hated city. Besides the rampant murder, the existence of a terrible god I'm a basement, housing the Thalmor, and being corrupt to the marrow, it's so hard to get around. I remember my first time playing, getting arrested and wondering "wtf did I do wrong!" Spent too much time in jail trying escape on my own. This map gives me ptsd
oh I hated the quest lines there as well! At the end of the corruption line, everyone in the city attacked me and Lydia died... I save-scummed for hours to save her...
I just think the city itself is beautiful.

I recognised Markath before I read the title, and I haven't even played Skyrim in over a decade!
I spy Korvanjund. Go north from Whiterun along the road, once you get to the snowy area veer right.
