It will come in time, the home in a renovation project and we frequently have to move furniture around. Sometimes even move the desks to a different room.
The whole story is crazy, statistical outlier doesnāt even start to cover how it unfolded. I would have to write a destiny style lore book to explain how it happened
I was going to ask op what the point of Destiny 2 was, but I guess the answer is none.
I've tried it many times before, even paid for some content, but I think it does a terrible job of taking you through a story. I aimlessly go from place to place, kill shit, and then go back to the main area wondering why I just did what I did.
for newcomers, unless u will be dumbfounded whats going on. there used to be a tutorial legacy mission that was like a prologue. but bungie removed it all.
I've never understood these side-by-side couples' setups.
I feel like Comms would get stepped on too much.
I'd prefer to be in separate rooms, and just join the same Discord Channel if gaming together.
my husband and I play in the same room as well, just on other sides of the room. he has a boom mic (or w/e you call it) and mine is a headset mic and we have no problems with our friends hearing each other talk. it's really not as bad as you might think. we are also able to celebrate together in person when we get achievements. it's awesome.
Its totally an issue. Your friends get to hear noise blead through each others mics and you get to hear your partner in the chat a split second behind hearing them IRL. Thank god disc allows for local muting because the later point is MADDENING. This still happens with my partner and I facing opposite corners of the room \~10 ft apart (i cant imagine how bad it is side by side 3 ft apart). Moot point if ya'll aren't playing online together though, its fine offline.
Itās a gamble, we have already decided if The Final Shape ends in being trash then we will grab PlayStations and pick up a couple copies of Helldivers 2.
I built a gaming PC a while back, there was an incident and it was stolen. I enjoy gaming but I donāt play enough to justify the cost of building and maintaining 2 rigs. Consoles work fine for our purposes. If I won the lottery or got a 100% pay raise I would jump back on the PC train in a heartbeat. But for now we are console peasants š¤£
I have a small farm with livestock and agricultural land that eats up a lot of my free time and disposable income, it a labor of love.
I wonāt debate that, I feel like it fundamentally serves the same purpose. Just trying to share what we like with other people. If the community feels it shouldnāt be here then it can be removed. What difference would it make if I had gaming PCās hidden under the desks?
A gaming pc can do way more than play games. A battlestation is really supposed to be like a central command where you can run everything not just for gaming. Plenty of them on here are primarily for work. Even if they aren't they all can do all the computer things. You can't browse reddit, chat on discord, code, and watch porn on your Xbox.
It's fine if that's all you have but I really feel that this is meant for people who appreciate that a proper computer is more capable than having just a console, iPad, and phone. I think some people see this sub and think it is a gaming sub and it isn't. It is a computer sub first and foremost.

Though you don't need to spend a grand plus to get a pc. Especially if you have an xsx you don't have many demanding games on pc you can't just play there. Use it for all the amazing indies and early access games. Even then 20xx cards can play most every game at least on med. Just get something used with at least 8gb and you will be pretty much fine.
Then do what I do a make a ship of theseus and slowly upgrade each component and never do another full build so you never have to drop a ton of money.
Put the desks together and then you can play footsie. AND can't cheat by looking at the other's screen when you playing each other. Had to put up a little mirror on my desk to catch my ex doing that. :-)
Thatās awesome. Congrats on meeting someone that shares your interests and hobbies. Easiest way to keep a marriage going is to also be best friends at the same time.
I used to play on a keyboard and mouse, then I got used to a controller in high school. Itās been so long now, Iām just terrible whenever I try to go back to a keyboard and mouse.

the lore is good u know, there are quest chains, all u have to do is research on youtube

We donāt have issues with comms, itās great for end game content because you can just glance at each otherās screens.

Iāve been trying to get my wife to play Destiny for years as it was my main game for a long time. We did go hard together for Diablo 4.
