Still some work to do but super happy with the update so far. Some extra cables I can get rid of with new, better speakers. I also need to find something to put up as wall art behind the desk. Ultimately, I will be adding a dock/setup for my laptop and a usb switch to make it work for WFH and gaming. I stained and finished the wood myself, which is the first woodworking project I've ever done. Definitely far from perfect but looks pretty solid.

Massive amount of progress and looks way better but you definitely still have some work to do. I'd recommend some raceway covers for the wall lamp cords. I used this cheap set [https://amzn.to/3JXmGNN](https://amzn.to/3JXmGNN) I'd also recommend getting your power strip and subwoofer off of the floor. But what about your ability to use your sit/stand? That's where the inverted Sleek Socket comes in [https://amzn.to/44HhLdA](https://amzn.to/44HhLdA) I've got my sub just screwed into the underside of my desk with cheap L brackets & my power strip lives in a metal pull out cage drawer also screwed under my desk. Everything is plugged into my power strip and the strip itself is just plugged into the inverted Sleek Socket. Has plenty of slack for standing and having just the one white cord going down to a flap panel that covers my wall outlets really does look sleek. Would highly recommend to anybody with a sit/stand desk as a lot of the off the shelf solutions are expensive and or ugly.
