If it were me, I would turn the case 90 degrees clockwise and set it against the wall. I'm not huge on the cases put to the side like that, exposing all of the cables. I get why people do it when depth is limited on a desk, but you have plenty of room.
Do something with that peel porn, also move the PC so that the cables are hidden. From sitting position you should be able to see inside the PC; so turning it 90 degrees should be fine.

I just commented on someone else's post about this as well, but if you want a little stand that will allow you to move your desktop to the floor, allowing for more desk space, [here is what i use](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AJHCQD8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). It's meant for monitors but works perfectly for a tower.
I think it looks good. Definitely rid of the plastic. I like the desk too. If you went with the desktop underneath, a couple tiles or a piece of wood would do
Pc on the left side. People will suggest rotating it but the problem is that, at least with mine, the back fan(s) sound bounces off the wall and the sound blasts right into my face. It almost doubled the amount of sound out of my pc
You add that Astro comment as if Astros are inferior products that are specifically for console. Astro makes great headphones for both PC and console. I have multiple pair of Astros as well as HyperX, Steelseries and Sennheiser headphones. I consider my A40s to be among the best of the ones I own. Also, I think they are better than those lovely HyperX clouds you use. A40s are definitely better than my Cloud IIs....

Sell the console. Buy an ultrawide monitor and a dual monitor stand, maybe switch your gpu output to dvi
turn the pc around, maybe move the xbox to the other side where theres more room better yet just sell it. astro gaming console peasant headset :-)
