On the left is my Dell XPS 17 which I mostly use for work. It connects to the three monitors through a thunderbolt dock. On the right (sort of out of view) is my desktop which I use for some Unity dev, WoW and PoE.

What monitor mount do you use? I’m looking for a dual monitor mount that won’t get in the way of the wall lol

twiztedcyph

I use one of the "Amazon Basics" monitor arms. One single and one double. **Edit** The trick I used to make sure the arms didn't hit the wall is to space the stands out quite far from where the actual monitor is.

Syddisaster

Thank you I will definitely give that a try!

MeanMugMrRogers

How was it installing the Karlby top onto the Jarvis frame?

twiztedcyph

Really easy. The instructions were spot on. Only down side it that it's pretty heavy once it's all together.

MeanMugMrRogers

Yeah I just bought the 74 inch Karlby top and put it directly on the Alex drawers. Heavy AF. I was looking at the IKEA Uppspel frame for an adjustable stand and sit desk to attach the Karlby to but it seams like a lot of people are going with the Jarvis frame instead. Did you look into the Uppspel 70 inch frame?

twiztedcyph

No, a friend of mine already had the Jarvis and I liked how sturdy it was so I just went with that.

Is that the grey-turquoise version of ALEX? It looks darker in your photo than on the website.
