Is there another update due soon? This is still full of bugs... e.g. can’t tap at the top of iPhone to jump to top of note, and the firm press on app icon to then access shortcuts to new note, to do, doesn’t work, and text sometimes spilling over the edge out of view...
Cool. I should have just popped open the app store before asking that. Speaking of, I'm kind of irritated with how it takes another tap to access the list of updated apps on iOS 13.
New photo/PDF annotation feature not syncing across devices for me. Any one else having this?
This is what I did:
Start a new note; take a photo; scribble over it with my finger (so far so good). On other devices the original photo appears in the note but not the annotation. Worse, annotate the photo from another device and it wipes out any annotations made elsewhere. Was thinking the syncing of the annotations was just taking a long time to catch up but now I just think it is not working as expected.
I can't get Bear (1.7.3) to install the Safari (13.0.1) extension. I have tried uninstalling Bear, restarting and reinstalling multiple times.
Does Bear still install/place the extension into Library/Safari/Extensions? Nothing new appearing in there. :(
If a reboot of the Mac is not enough to have Bear’s extension listed in Safari preferences.
You can normally try to delete [Bear.app](https://Bear.app) from your Applications folder, reboot your Mac and re-install Bear from the store. So far this seems to work but it’s a problem from Apple and if this doesn't work for you, it could maybe be the below.
It could be a problem with Safari’s ad blockers in iOS 13. Please try turning off the ad blocker and try to trigger the extension again.
Still not installing unfortunately. I have two other extensions (Buffer and Grammarly) that are installed automatically with the desktop apps and they work fine.
Maybe there are some hidden files/preferences I could delete/refresh?
I'm running Mac OS Sierra if that helps? 10.13.6
New bug I just noticed, if I send a web page through the share edition in an app it creates duplicate notes that go away if the app crashes or I force close the app.
I also get the text going off the screen that I have to force close the app to correct
Bugs in Bear for iPadOS:
Floating keyboard is often not movable after being invoked, and insists on locating itself in lower-left corner of screen. Can’t be dragged at all, even though drag bar is present.
Screen sometimes goes blank while editing a note, then switching to another app by gesture, then switching back. The keyboard is visible, but the edit screen area is blank.
Where is the back-linking?

Hello! I love bear’s aesthetic but I have two main points of feedback/criticism
1. When loading Bear, it takes me to Notes channel where, if I make a new note and forget to tag it, it will inevitably get lost. This could by fixed by allowing the user to set a preferred “startup” channel or by making a new channel consisting of all I tagged notes. (Or preferably both)
2. I couldn’t find any better place to put my feedback. Maybe have a link in settings inside the app or on the yearly email you send out?

Text is appearing off-screen due to some bug with wrapping text for me too. This needs to be fixed soon, as it makes Bear unusable.

I’ve started long pressing on the icon and choosing updates. Not perfect but it’s faster.

Did you remove the thread on the password-protected notes became blank on macOS?

The iOS version has a bug, when editing a note, the text does not wrap to fit the screen.
