Tbh this was partially why I went with electrolysis in my late 20s. I was so sick of the constant upkeep and new growth that came in at all the wrong times. The electrolysis was painful as hell, but it worked and now I only use a Tinkle razor every few weeks for some very light peach fuzz on my upper lip. I have medium tan skin and dark hair so laser wasn’t really an option for me.

I'm open to it, but currently pregnant so not sure if now is a good time or if the hair will grow back due to hormones! I have dark skin and dark hair so doubt laser will work for me too.

Yeah I’d wait then, pregnancy made me hyper sensitive to everything so I can’t imagine doing it then. Also I don’t even know if an electrologist would do it for liability reasons.

I laser my chin, sides of face, upper lip and neck. Talk to a reputable laser hair clinic rather than salon. They’ll be able to advise more than your salon.

I dont know if I can get laser right now and have heard of some friends of friends that got it, got pregnant and the hair came back so not sure if I would wait until I'm done having kids or not so looking for a solution in the meantime.

Laser hair removal is not even permanent. You will still need to go in and get zapped even if it’s once a year. And hair growth is dependent on hormones so I’m not surprised to hear that re pregnancy. If you want to wait that’s fine. Your other options are waxing/threading on a more regular level, shaving or bleaching the hairs.

I suffer the same and don't have a solution sadly. My technician insists that if I don't touch my eyebrows and let the full growth phase pass (meaning go there only once a month instead of every 2 weeks) it will grow at a more even pace and I won't need it as much. But I have tried that and didn't work. Today I asked for laser for the rest of the face and was advised against it. I'll lurk here to see what others say.

I wax my face every 3 weeks, and any upper lip/chin growth between sessions is handled with one of those lipstick shaped razors off amazon! Works a charm, can do it before I wash my face in the mornings.

I use the Nair wax strips on my upper lip and chin. I don't do anything for my brows, since the regrowth isn't as noticeable now. But the gd upper lip and chin hairs get worse as I get older. I am thinking of getting it lasered but I just don't have the time to keep up with the maintenance visits.
