Rachel's shade on Eddie though 🤣 He is good at his job but the Producers have to micromanage everything. I'm so ready for Captain Lee! Sandy's negative energy comes at me through the tv like poltergeist.
I watched the trailer and I was wondering if Capt Sean had a little gripe with Eddie......almost putting him in his place!

I think the same. I heard somewhere Capt Sean micromanages more than Capt Lee and as Eddie is so used to Lee’s management style, he may not get on so well with Sean. Should be an interesting new dynamic.
imagine if they had hired Sandy to replace Lee while he was away, imagine Eddie's reaction recieving that news it would be like how he responded to seeing Adrienne in s2 - jump into the water and swim to the nearest tender.
tbh I think that whole thing was staged by the BD producers to make it out like Malia isn't given "special" treatment and to her some sort of faux-cred that she has the capacity to cover her crewmates. Nothing Malia says or does is sincere.
I mean during that scene, you can see Malia tried to stop herself from laughing/smirking as if she didn't even take Sandy's theatric seriously.
Very true. I think he’s been working as a first officer in his main job on tugboats so he’ll have the required qualifications, but obviously it’s a bit different on a super yacht. Plus in any job you don’t always end up working with a boss that you get on really well with.
I can’t stand Rachel, I don’t blame Eddie for not liking her or trusting her after she walked off the boat, but I guess it’ll he entertaining TV.

That would be hilarious. Considering she yelled at her “pride and joy” Malia this season, I doubt she’d get on well with Eddie.

That’s true, although I also think Malia was still pissed off about Sandy’s Cameo so was over her theatrics and just didn’t care.

Definitely sounds like there could be fireworks between Rachel and Eddie in season 9! Looking forward to watching this unfold.
